There are many genres woven into Genavine’s Faith, and author Jupiter Rose does it brilliantly. Time shifting, paranormal, dystopian, action and adventure, and romance, to name a few.
The characters are wonderfully portrayed and you can’t help but root for Gena throughout the book. There are so many twists and turns, and lots of suspense, that it keeps you turning the pages to find out how the hell the cast is going to survive.
If you love paranormal, dystopian fantasy, then I’d recommend reading Genavine’s Faith.

Genavine's Faith is a book about faith, leadership and believing in your self when everything around you fails. Gena- the protagonist is a very strong and capable leader and a definite inspiration to young women. Author Jupiter writes powerfully and from her heart and this science fiction romantic fantasy set in a dystopian world is sure to draw you in.

Exceptional
This is an exceptional novel written most creatively; a true dystopian with touches of both Heaven and hell. Gene is a strong female and she her family, blood kin or not. Gene does what she must to keep her family safe and includes wars, stealing, killing, most anything one can imagine after Earth is hit with a virus that killed at will, leaving the living to do their best to make a life out of almost nothing. Weather variances, and traveling to multiple Earth's in which no two are alike. I can see this book become a movie. Five stars.

Exciting!!
This story had so much to offer. Danger, love, friendship, war, government conspiracy, angels, demons, paranormal, and so much more! Kept me on my toes. Excited for the next book!

What a head-spinning journey it has been reading this book! Just like its main character Gena, readers are bound to be knocked off their feet by events no one saw were coming.
Genavine became a leader in more than challenging circumstances. This isn’t easy to lead people in peaceful times. But to maintain order and discipline among the people who have assembled in a group not by choice but by a harsh necessity is almost impossible.
The dystopian setting of “Genavine’s Faith” by Jupiter Rose is dark, cruel, and hopeless. It seems like a miracle that there are any survivors after the government has disappeared and people were left to survive on their own. Violence runs rampant. Fights between units scattered around deserted cities and search for food are an everyday reality. Is there any reason to cling to such a life?
Genavine is young. But although she’s seen too much to have any hope left for a better future, it is her youth and her faith that don’t let her give up. Besides, she feels responsible to make the people who believe in her and her leadership skills keep their faith too.
What I loved about this book is how I didn’t see any of the twists and turns coming. From chapter to chapter, “Genavine’s Faith” kept me on the edge of my seat. After a while, I stopped guessing what might happen next and simply enjoyed the story.
Apart from being a leader, Gena is a young woman whose heart longs for love. I liked the way the author portrayed both her strength and her vulnerability. Gena doesn’t hesitate to make and execute difficult decisions, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt to take lives. She also makes wrong decisions that have only seemed right.
The plot of this book is complex, as are the characters. You can never guess who turns out to be from the “dark side”. And that is what makes “Genavine’s Faith” a perfect read for those who like to be surprised by a book rather than expect the plot to be following certain genre-accepted rules.

Genavine has spent the past five years just trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic hellscape after a breakdown of the government, mass killings and violence over supply shortages. It’s a gritty story where Gena leads her band of survivors as they loot, fight other looters through streets with no electricity, scavenging for scarce supplies and trying to survive day to day. The descriptions are incredibly well done and I was drawn into the setting. Mike, Marcus and Gena are good friends and there is also romantic tension between the three, forming a sort of unspoken love triangle. There’s also something creepy going on within their survivor’s compound early on, with people experiencing blackouts and suspected poisoning/drugging. I love the way that all of this author’s plots find a way to surprise me. I always go into a book thinking it’s going to be one thing, but by the end it’s something entirely different! So many cool twists and turns! And this book… well it went in some crazy wild directions that I found absolutely amazing. New people come to the group, but can they be trusted? People discover they have paranormal abilities. How does this impact the future of the group and of society in general. I found the world-building and the way this novel started as one thing (post-apocalyptic dystopian) and turned into a paranormal fantasy novel with Gena’s abilities warping the entire novel to be absolutely brilliant. This is a neat novel that I would highly recommend! 5/5 stars.

Genavine’s Faith has to be experienced. No review will do this book the credit it deserves.
The author, Jupiter Rose, is an accomplished author with several publications. Genavine’s Faith might be her best, so far.
The book is a force of emotions that runs full-speed to the very end. There are so many elements in the story that are masterfully woven with the precise hand and mind. There are elements of the paranormal, dystopian future, world shifts, superpowers, and even time travel. Few writers could bring all of those elements together to form a cohesive story—Jupiter not only does, but the events unfold in a logical and wonderful way. It will captivate you.
For me, what I came away with was a great story of romance and hope. As the world falls apart around her, a young girl, the main character, Gena, struggles to gain normalcy. She won’t give up. She doesn’t know how to quit. She becomes an unlikely, albeit natural, leader of a small army that has decided they will fight for their freedom. Fight they do. The action scenes are well written, believable, and emotional.
The book has a wonderful cast of characters that bond as a family. Gena might be the softest, most lovable, and toughest woman you ever meet in a novel.
This book will appeal to any who enjoy reading romance, paranormal romance, dystopian, and
supernatural.

Coming from a classical background, I must confess that “Genavine’s Faith: Left for Dead”, was the very first, contemporary romantic fiction book I have ever read, and became honestly and surprisingly, fascinated by it.
Jupiter Rose’s uniquely captivating style, "despite" a deliberately staged, minimalist approach to describing events, concentrates on describing aspects of emotional turmoil mostly hidden by her characters from one another. Genavine character’s development from a fragile, yet fierce leader of a band of dystopian survivalists, towards the shocking revelation of her absolutely unsuspected supernatural nature with a shocking ancestry, is beyond brilliant.
Love in Jupiter’s book is complex, complicated, passionate yet genuinely suitable for readers of all ages, dramatic, painful at times, raising silently-worded theoretical questions, answered nevertheless in the most openly vulnerable way, by characters yearning for true love in times when hatred and cruelty have become the new “normal”.
The book subtly touches and tackles subjects of an actuality which has rendered the majority of us confused and frightened, seeking for answers in an age when hazing the sad truth and reality, have become commonplace.
If there’s some virtual cue somewhere awaiting for the soon-to-be-released sequel, “Genavine’s Hell: Frozen in the Dark”, I want to make sure to be the first one there.

Audiobook: This was my first experience with this author's work, and it was fascinating. The opening pages enthralled my imagination. I was amazed by all the ups and downs and circular flow of plot that I was reminded of a carousel. I was stunned by all the elements which comprised this story. I admired Gena as she was strong and fierce; however, her handling of some issues was questionable. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I thought Alexandra Valentine's narration was good, but there were a few times when a phrase or sentence was repeated. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Just imagine. Because, with the writings of Jupiter Rose, you enjoy the limitless bounds of her fertile imagination.
As the book begins, you are immediately you are drawn into a futuristic time of war and struggle. But, that is only the beginning of the magic. And, behind it, there is the personal struggle of the main character Gena. How she deals with the altered reality (realities!) and her own feelings is what gives this book life. It is down to earth, and even, normal - a very human portrayal despite the dystopian settings. I got a kick out of this book!

A Lot of Variety
Wow, this book is all over the place. A lot of genres, a lot of characters, very hard to predict what’s going to happen next. The novel is full of action and difficult decisions. Fast-paced, it never really takes a break, which is appropriate in a story where the characters can never truly rest. Definitely one of the most different books I’ve ever read.

The dystopian storyline is well imagined but the author needs an editor - mixed verb tenses are only one of the problems that interfere with the flow of the narrative.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. I fell in love with Jupiter's main character Gena with all my heart. What a wild ride this book is. I never suspected a dystopian book could be written from this angle, it was filled with so many twists and turns. All her Characters come alive with a genuine part in the story. I can not wait for the sequel. Next, I plan on reading The Missing pieces of Teravaza. This will be my first try at this style, I will let you know what I think of that one. If you enjoy paranormal, dystopian books, then give Genavine's Faith a read. It's amazing! I highly recommend it. This is an absolute must-read!
