Drákon to ápeiro den koimátai pia.

The definition of “dead” is “no longer alive.”

Even though it shouldn’t be possible, the Great is very much alive. But he isn’t here to rekindle our relationship. No, that remains as lost as the years I’ve wasted grieving him.

What’s worse than being abandoned under false pretenses? When said person shows no remorse or interest in you—or your newly discovered half-sibling—and he’s still keeping secrets.

One year of our time at Kronos University is down, and there’s only one more left.

Between traveling to fulfill obligations, and keeping everything—myself included—from falling apart, we’re barely attending University. But who cares? It’s not like we’ll be using our fine education for anything.

I’m Acacia-motherf*cking-Drákon and I won’t let anyone take what’s mine. If I have to give everything up to keep my men free from the clutches of the b*tch that’s challenging me, then that’s exactly what I’ll do.

Drákon the infinite no longer sleeps.

Please note: this is book 3 of 4 in The Drákon Legacy series. It’s strongly advised to read the series in order.

This series just gets better and better! I love the world that’s been created and how well written this series is. There was so much character growth in this book from them all and I’m so here for it. I adored her friendship developing more with Lupa and Morgana🖤. The has plot deepened and I’m so ready for Ruler🤩.

1st person/multi pov
Spice: 5/5

The absolute chokehold this series has on me is ridiculous at this point. I've never had a story that gives me so many answers only to turn around and raise just as many questions. I've never had a story where I was able to figure out what was coming but also keep me utterly in the dark at the same time. Half the time I don't know if I'm frustrated, amazed, or shocked... but you know what? I couldn't stop reading this if my life depended on it!

The way this entire situation, this entire world really, is weaved in, out, and around itself is truly mind-blowing. There is so much we still don't know about whoever or whatever is pulling the strings and turning the wheels behind the scenes. When you say you want a book about a secret society you usually get the same mysterious group of people doing things that are questionable and the story flows along one major plot point until it's resolved at the end. Well, that's not what you get here. This is every bit the meaning of a secret society. There are so many levels to the deception and manipulation that the farther along you get in the series the deeper it goes. What I thought was going to be the big final reveal seems it is only the tip of the iceberg which is the Kronos Society and the Drakon Legacy. And after the way this book just ended, I can't even begin to theorize what could be coming next. I legit have no clue because even with everything I now know, there are STILL some major pieces of the puzzle missing. I can't help but feel like there have been subtle clues across all three books so far that I've completely overlooked, not realizing it was in fact a hint at what was to come. As well as things I thought were clues now feel like they meant nothing at all and only threw me off the path to figuring out this elaborate mystery.

All I can do at this point is applaud the author for completely and utterly mind fucking me...
When I started this journey with these characters I thought I would just be getting some complicated family dynamics and a shit ton of spice. While I did indeed get those things, I got so much more. It is riddled with such complexity and built up so much suspense I often forget that it's all made up. This feels like one of those conspiracy theories that have just enough coincidences and facts flowing through them it makes you sit back and wonder "what if?".

Wait I just read all of that back to myself and what the hell am I even saying? I feel like I sound like a crazy person typing all of that out lol! I have barely even scratched the surface of all the things I'm thinking and already I've sent myself into a tailspin. Listen just read it. I can't explain it because it has to be experienced for you to understand what I mean and how I feel.
There's a lot of spice and boy is it hot. It just seems to get wilder too. These men have zero boundaries that can be crossed. They are nonexistent. Some of it had me chanting "oh my god" several times in shock because like... what?
There were a couple of moments I teared up a little bit too, to be honest. The situations are just tragic and my heart wept for these characters and what they have to go through. God, it's just such a great series that I never expected to be as intricate as it is, or to affect me the way it has. When you can sit down and read 80% in one sitting because you can't stop turning the pages. When you have to physically force yourself to close it and go to bed only to open it up as soon as you open your eyes the next morning because you can't stop thinking about what is going to happen next. That's when you know it's consumed you. I might never be the same after the last book is finished but I'm not mad about it. And I'm so ready to get my hands on it and read it!

*Don't forget to read the TWs cause there is no doubt it's needed.*

Gah, I was hoping Cia would chill out this book with her “quick thinking” but alas, she does not and just causes more drama between her and her men. 🙄 she wants control over everything and everyone so badly but can’t handle her emotions and refuses to have ANY difficult conversations for more than five seconds. Important stuff continuously gets put off and then they end up going “damn, shoulda talked about that sooner.”

Liam is no longer the wallpaper and 100% deserves better than the bullshit Cia keeps putting him through. He has been clear as clear can get from the second the books started that she is his life, yet Cia is out here making him feel like he doesn’t belong anywhere?!

Cia getting angry at Kai for his dreams was beyond messed up. She pursued a sleeping man while he was dreaming of his dead wife, what the heck did she think would happen?!

Most of their problems would have been solved if they had actual friggin’ conversations and if Gus just manned up and killed his “mother” when he had the fortymilliongazillion chances. Like how much more shit can she get away with before she gets taken out???

Will I read the next book? Probably. I’ve come this far, might as well see how it ends.

Emotional overload!
Information overload for poor Cia in this penultimate book! With the Greats connection to her revealed, it’s the ultimate betrayal and CIA is questioning everything she thought she new, as well as the intentions behind everything 😖 on top of that she’s dealing with issues between her men, they can’t forgive the actions of Gus, yet you find out his tough backstory in this one 😢, Kai gets a dose of his own medicine and Liam is just 😍 although he has his own insecurities! I like that Cia is strong enough to own up to her mistakes with her men, beware there’s plenty of heartache in this one, and it’s not all on them! You certainly get to see them grow as a unit 🥰 and oh boy do they have some 🌶️🌶️ team building
And they are going to need each others backs with the revelations being dropped, particularly regarding the bloodlines and that they’re not quite as pure as previously believed! Moreover there appears to be a secret sect within their secret society 😲 looking forward to seeing how everything will tie up in the last book!

Well, that was a whirlwind of emotional ups and downs that literally made me crazy right to the very end. Yes, questions we had slowly get answered but then a million more questions pop up and leave us with our heads spinning not knowing what the hell is going to happen now.

Cia had me exasperated in this part of her story. The way her emotions kept her going one way and then forcing to go another way, had me wanting to pull my hair out. If she could just have a heartfelt conversation with the most important people in her life maybe things would work out better for her.

There was a lot to absorb here and a lot that has left us hanging on the edge of a cliff wondering where this story is going to go now. I can’t wait to see how Cia and her men are going to change the whole system.

Secrets still need to get unraveled, mysteries need to be solved and the final battle needs to be fought. I can’t wait!!!

With every question you get an answer, but then something happens and your left with more questions. I've since learned in the prior book's that Cia needs to get out of her own way and head and let her guy's help, but then that's not how she was raised. This is book 3 in the Drakon Legacy Series it picks up where it left off in book 2 and let me say this, the arthur once again wields her magic in taking you down the rabbit hole of a secret society that you have no idea who's pulling the string's, and if they're friend or foe.

Cia and her guy's struggle in working together, but it takes her saying something more than once to get them to want to work together and figuring it out, and just when you think thing's might settle down for them something else is thrown at them, can they work together or will it separate them? We'll have to wait and find out in the next book to find out what's happening next.

Well that was a thrill. Wow. From the first page to the last, the author took me on a rollercoaster ride filled with action, twists, and heavy steam.

Cia and the men don’t have a minute to take a breath hardly as more revelations emerge and a betrayal that rocks their group. The bond between them all grows stronger and prepare yourself for some scorching scenes that may burn up the pages or Ereader.

Considering all the stuff thrown at her, Cia handles like a champ and really takes action. Liam I love so much but would love to throat punch sometimes Kai and Gus. Though will say the snippets of Gus’ past help make you understand him better.

* I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

Keep your emotions in check because they run rampant in this one! This fast paced book picks up after book and is it a doozy!

So many questions left unanswered. Cia runs after everything, determined to stand tall and proud as the leader, but she neglected one thing, the feelings of her men. The trust and relationship between Liam, Kai and Gus are faltering. The battle lines are drawn. But there’s so much more at stake. We stand on tip toes, aching to see what happens, gripped in this uphill struggle to find the answers to the mysteries. But everything is thrown off kilter when new revelations are uncovered. This line is not pure.

I don’t even know what to say this series and these books are non-stop from beginning to end. I love Cia and how strong she is and how she just dives head first into everything. For me she has had great growth and I love how protective she is of her guys and everyone that falls within her circle. There are more secrets, lies and betrayal thrown their way and at one point I was like dang when are they gonna catch a break. Cia is a true fighter. I like that we got to see the other side of Gus and get a bit more understanding of him. Liam is bae and Kai and me have a love hate thing poppin off. I cant wait to see what happens next.

This third book has left us more questions. Who is actually after Cia. Is it really Marian or is it someone close to her. The relationship she has with Morgana and Lupa is so refreshing. It is nice to see her being ale to just be a girl and not always looking over her shoulder. Her father being back in her life is a curve ball she did not see coming. What is the tribunal ? I did love that Cia and Gus are rebuilding what he threw away even if he did do it o protect her. Kai is always by her side but h not without his own secrets. Kai is slowly showing that he is in love with her and will do what he can to protect her. Can’t wait for the last book.

I really enjoy this story.

Secrets, lies, Deception, more secrets. It almost feels like it never ends, we get some answers, and then we're thrown for more loops. It keeps me intrigued and eager for more!

Cia and her men turn it up a few notches in this installment. Yummmm, I will ALWAYS take more of that!

I will say, the middle of this felt a bit choppy, personally. I understand why some if came off that way, but I had me struggling through the middle of this book. There was just so much information given.

That being said, it SHOULD not deter anyone from reading. Rather, know it's worth it!

The ending though! What the what!

I can't wait to get my hands on Ruler!!

I’ve really enjoyed this series!! Cia has been through so much, but she hasn’t crumbled. She just continues to kick ass 🖤 Her and her guys are doing well, and we’re getting more between them and Cia ♥️ I’m so glad, because I love those parts 😍🔥
This book picked up right where Heir left off, and did not stop moving!! There was so much action. Definitely a page turner!! We find out more about the Society and their lies. I ABSOLUTELY can’t wait for Book 4!! There are still so many questions to answer 🤗

As things unfold between Cia, Gus, Liam and Kai there are so many twists and turns. Unexpected enemies and new, surprise friends all help to make this amazing story complete. How will Cia come back from the betrayals, how will her men survive her betrayal? Lots of questions are answered but many more are raised as this story unfolds. I loved the way the relationships develop between Cia and her men, but also between them all and some of the other characters in the story. Another great read by an awesome author.

This third book is fast paced, full of revelations and action and so steamy! Sometimes I get so frustrated with Cia though! She is so impetuous and sassy, never backs down and sometimes that is to her detriment and to the relationships around her. Of course it also makes amazing reading! Kai, Gus and Liam are all fighting their own battles and secrets, but it's time for all four of them to open up and give everything to each other. I love this series, I love the secret societies and the politics.

Wonderful story that pulls you in

There is just something about these characters that I've fallen in love with. Cia, Gus, Liam and Kai are all just strong personalities and I feel I know them. In rh, sometimes one of the guys can get lost in the story but not here.
As for the story, it continues with threats to them all. I can't help but think that Marian isn't the mastermind behind everything that's going and even though Kai is the ruler, someone else is pulling all of the strings.

Leader by B. Lybaek is the third book in the Drakon Legacy series and it was as compelling as the first two. New secrets get revealed, more deception is uncovered and another layer of the Kronos society is peeled off but it is still not enough. Drakon Legacy is probably the most intriguing and the most complex series I have ever read and I still can’t believe this series was my first read by the author. Furthermore, the spice level of this book is sky high! Nuclear level! I had to take short breaks and fan myself to d€a+h in order to continue🔥🔥🔥 So beware of reading in public🤭.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would!! All the twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat!! There were some major revelations in this book! There was action, suspense and lots of steam!!!
I felt like this book dug deep into the emotions and truths of the main characters. There was a lot of secrets that needed to be shared. I think it was necessary and will help the four of them to come together for what's to come in the next book!!!

4.5 ⭐️ Picks up where Heir left off. We gets some secrets revealed. We see the bond between Cia, Gus, Liam and Kai shift the come to an understanding and move forward. But there is still mystery, loss, pain, acceptance, intensity and of course steam. I am excited to see what will happen next especially with the significance of the movie and blueprints.

The author here just grabs me from page one and reeling me in with the story that continues for Cia. The twists and turns it takes are mind-boggling and I love it! I enjoyed the fact the story is really good, fast-paced and just love the caracters. They grow with each book and that is amazing to see. I for one can't wait for the next book in this series and I have a feeling it'll blow my mind. Keep it up with the great writing!

Yes! This series gets better book by book! So much steam, love and betrayal. Acacia definitely has her hands full now that she has married Kai woot woot. So many shocking surprises in this book. The tragedy of losing a loved one was also a tough thing for cia and Gus. Things got a bit dicey but in true form they are irked themselves out. I can’t wait and see what happens next for cia and her men and the society.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Cia and her men are always trying to stay one step ahead of everyone in the Kronos society. There is such amazing world building in this series, and I am always shocked by how everything is and how well thought out. There is so much deception and manipulation in this book that it truly blows my mind and I have no idea how anyone can keep it all straight. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

The third book in Cia's story is fast paced from the start. There is so much going on for her and her men. The book flows well from one moment to the next. There are so many secrets waiting to be revealed. I am so curious as to what is going to happen next. Overall, another great addition to the series.

This book picked up where Heir left off. It was extremely fast paced and so good. I did get a little emotional during parts of the story. For the book to be fast paced the writing flowed so easily. Another perfect addition to this series! It is fast paced from the beginning, bringing a lot of unexpected twists along the way for Cia and her men. Plenty of action and steam. A lot of unknown facts that are discovered. If you want a series that will suck you in and captivate you, this is definitely one to read. Super excited for book 4!

Stephannie's 4-Star Review:

This one is great, you get the answers your looking for only to turn around and have more questions. It is never-ending. Once I think I understand what is going on BAM something happens that has me scratching my head. That cliffhanger leaves me with a lot more questions and I need more to figure it out.

I like this book a lot but the chapter heading are all wrong on kindle and that bugs me. I didn't feel like the plot was very logical as I spent half the time wanting to scream at the main female character. I love the Greek mythology and it's weaved throughout the story so well it's a pleasure to read and I couldn't put the book down. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
