good: Useful section on lifestyle and kitchen tool adaptations for people with chronic pain, including illustrations to improve a patient's ability to cook for oneself without further damaging hands. The focus on incorporating rest periods into recipes is only logic, but is something people never think to do. Nice inclusion of discussion on soft food diet and dealing with chronic thirst (a common medication side effect). Some recipes look pretty tasty.
eh: written at a VERY basic reading level, presumably for elderly readers with serious cognition loss. was published years before anyone ever heard of an anti-inflammatory diet OR the dangers of plastic. focuses mainly on rheumatoid arthritis and gout, in terms of nutrition info.
This book has some of the best tips for cooking with mobility impairment or fatigue I have seen. Sadly, the recipes look dated and uninteresting, and I think some of the nutritional recommendations may be out of date.
