World of Chains #5

The Delving Bard

Rate this book
Death! Downfall! Despair! Darkness!

So much darkness. At least it made hiding easier. Daniel and his group of close friends barely made it away from the mob and their underhanded allies among the Cabal. Now, they were hunted prey, forced to ditch their beloved floating castle in order to find a place to hide.

But where could you possibly hide when the Dawnlight Forest would soon be teeming with people looking for you? That’s right. Underground. Quite literally.

The beleaguered group of adventurers would soon find out about the underworld of Neyrus. What could you possibly find down there? Monsters? Treasure? Salvation?

For the Audio Version, but since its not listed in the "other versions" tab my review goes here.

Delving with the Magic of SBT

I picked up all 5 of the books at one time so it was really awesome to see the quality of the SBT Team mature through the process as well. This was by far the best of the series so far and an awesome listen.

The story continues to unfold! And the plot thickens. The world is maturing very well and with the mix of real world effecting the in game I can’t wait to see how it all comes to a head.

I gave the story 4 instead of 5 because there are a few inconsistencies or lack of depth. Overall a great read but its not going to be an epic for the ages that I would give 5 stars to.

Ohhhh yeah, I loved this book. I love Archangelo and his Beast chameleon Atlas bonded to each other by music. I seriously liked Delving Bard better than the last book I read in the series.
As the title and blurb suggest the book's about a dungeon dive. But Lars Machműller took me on the most unique dive I've evarrr been on. Yeah, there's still a dungeon and I guess you might say it has levels, and maybe even a dungeon boss at the end... but, you'll see what I mean when you read the book. And through it all, Soundbooth Theater weaves music and magic together thus increasing your need to get this audio series and book!

I super love this one! The writing, narration, and production were just simply excellent! The story was very well-written, exciting, clever, and fun. I was hooked from start to finish.

I am so ready for the next one.

another great addition to the story.

I loved the music and how this book took the use of a violin and playing as a weapon and how sound waves can affect the world.

can't wait for the next one,

Enjoyed the book

I like the series and am looking forward to the last one. Each book has been filled with lots of action, humor, and great characters. It will be cool to see how this ends.

A good adventure LitRPG starring a bard character, which is rather rare. The audiobook is top quality even if the story is slowly loosening some steam. Thought this book was an improvement on the last though.

Still very inoffensive and run of the mill, but my favorite of the bunch so far. Looking forward to the final book. 👍🏽👍🏽
