A delightful story of Santa who loved to have fun instead of focusing on what needs to get done. What could possibly go wrong when Santa goes sledding on Christmas Eve? About the Rox Siles was born in Bolivia and moved at a young age to the United States. She grew up in Michigan where she got married and attended medical school. She currently works as a physician in Ohio. She developed a passion for writing children's books after reading bedtime stories with her son. One night, they couldn't agree on which book to read. It was at that moment they created "Charlie the Turtle and the Muddy Birthday Cake" and the rest is history. On her free time, Rox enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs, Tika and Jazz, which you may find in some of her books. Her stories are often influenced by their family adventures and her Spanish heritage. Rox's goal is to share positive messages with children through her bilingual books. Such beautiful illustrations! I love all the children writing letters to Santa in different languages and then also saying “Merry Christmas” at the end of the book. I laughed at the reindeer in training on the treadmill. Wonderful read!
Santa is playing while there is work to be done. Will he be ready for Christmas?
I enjoyed this story. Santa decides to have fun and play while the elves are getting worried he won't be ready for Christmas. Santa is not worried at all as he plays and enjoys himself. I had fun reading this. The illustrations are wonderful and complement the story very well. Worth the read.
A beautiful book, with some phrases in different languages, to encourage kids to organise themselves before doing something and be prepared, or else the outcome would not be the way they want. I will not put in any spoilers, but am sure kids will love the book just as much as I did!
Loved it! Even Santa needs to have some fun now and again! But not in lue of to his job all of! So where all the mistakes that Santa makes real it just part of a dream? You should get a copy and read on then you can decide on your own.
What a fun and creative story! I love the different languages added in and I loved how Santa had fun and took care of himself also! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Children will love it!
Great Christmas children's book. An insightful lesson on procrastination which is funny and clear for kids to understand the consequences. The illustrations are supper cute.
Children will love all of Santa’s excuses as to why he isn’t getting organised for the main event on Christmas Eve! Lovely illustrations combine with a fun story that subtly teaches about the importance of being a bit better prepared!
This story is special with how we grew up knowing Sa at naughty or nice. The illustrations are very well detailed as the text is simple with a strong meaning to the story!
Elves are preparing for Christmas presents' delivering but Santa has time right up to the day he has to deliver them. What happens next? Beautiful illustrations and enjoyable story.
Lovely Christmas book with amazing illustrations and interesting story with Santa and his elfs and dears. The kids would love it so much and it makes it a perfect Christmas gift
This is a wonderful book about Santa enjoying himself before his trip to deliver gifts to the boys and girls around the world. The story is funny and great for the holiday season. The Illustrations is bright and engaging .
Santa and his crew have to do a lot to get ready for the big day, but instead Santa chooses to put off the work and have fun instead, with some dire consequences!
This was a cute story with a good lesson for kids!
This was a cute story that showed that even Santa can have nightmares about doing the wrong thing on Christmas! Great story and adorable illustrations!
This is such a cute story of how Christmas went all wrong all because Santa wanted to have fun instead of getting ready for Christmas Eve. Everyone else is working hard to get prepared and he refuses when the elves and Mrs. Claus ask him to. He's busy having fun. Christmas Eve is here, he jumps in his suit and it doesn't fit, a nice girl gets coal by mistake, a little boy sees Santa when he wasn't supposed to. A surprise twist at the end you'll have to read it to find out the rest. A must have on your shelves for a holiday tradition.
I enjoyed this book. The author puts a creative spin on the classic tale of Christmas. All that we’re accustomed to hearing what Santa does on “The Night Before Christmas” gets turned on its head in this fun story. Santa plays just as hard as he works, good read!
