Подростково-мальчишечья фантастика про гонки на космических кораблях. Возможно, если бы в нашем книжном шкафу оказались первые повести из цикла, то понравилось бы больше. А так несколько сюжетных линий остались совершенно непонятыми.

About on par with the last book. The writing isn't great, the plot is all over the place and most of the characters are ruined. Mike makes stupid decisions and then whines about them. Lek, poor Lek, he got
I did like seeing what happened to Speedball and the mystery of the coins. It was entertaining enough, but I can't really recommend books 2 and 3 of this series. Read the first one and enjoy it, but don't read beyond that. Overall 2.5/5 stars.

While a serviceable wrap up to the series, I felt it was a step down from book 2. There isn't a lot of development of the ideas, many great characters are pushed to the sidelines, and the plot can get a little confusing. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I had read it back to back. The scenes on the racetrack (and I'll leave it at that) were the highlight. Overall happy with this series. It's a fun star-racing romp with a bit of fun science throw in.
