This was a really fun and engaging book when I was in high school. I'm not familiar with modern text book evolution but at least at that time I appreciated the multimedia approach combined with a book that had lots of asides, pictures, and narrative structure.

The book was written in an approachable way and it was a fun companion to spend a semester with.
