This story could make the non-traveller want to travel! You go on adventures with the beautiful Alexandra (Lexi) from teenage years and beyond.

Gloria Coppola draws the reader into Lexi’s life struggles and growth with every adventure. In this abbreviated life story, the author covers all the highlights of Lexi’s life while moving the story forward in a fluid motion.

Lexi is an attractive woman, admired by all who meet her. She is also a talented writer, singer and dancer. There are struggles along the way, but she has the discipline to get the skills she wants to gain. She almost seems too perfect. Perhaps this is the only flaw I have with the story. But I enjoyed Lexi’s story and the journey she took me on. The illustrations placed throughout the book is a nice touch too.

There is a strong spiritual story line. It’s with guides like Grandma Rose and other ladies in the spirit realm Lexi connects with and heeds their messages. She encounters several kindred souls who help her reconnect with her life path along the way as well. My take away from this book would be to listen to that inner voice and trust what it’s telling me to help get the most out of life. Sometimes life hands us trouble and despair. It’s the lessons we learn that help us grow and rise above those times.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a spiritual lift with a dusting of romance and adventure. This is a feel-good story.

I loved this moving story about the unfolding of the main characters life. The opening scene begins in Italy and continues to provide a wonderful travel escape throughout the chapters.

You lucidly slip between the protagonist’s memories, which begin with her coming of age adventures traveling as a young woman.

The life struggles she faces along the way, with unexpected twists, deep losses and spiritual awakenings, draw you in.

If you love a great easy to read story that stirs your emotions and provides a nice travel escape, this is a great book.

Thanks to Lexi resources and tenacity, she embarked on a trip to Italy with a brief stop in Switzerland, (which at that time was not common for a young lady to travel so far alone. Lexi takes us to both sides of the Atlantic, three continents and five countries. Buckle up.

I fell in love with Lexi, and you will too! You will find her receptive to experiences, love and a receiver of messages from beyond. I think there is a little bit of Lexi in all of us.
