Entertaining enough for what it is but disappointingly lightweight. With absolutely no background on the creation of, or production of, this landmark comedy series, what it has instead is a clutch of short pieces drawn together vaguely around recurring themes from the show and seeming only to reference a handful of episodes while doing so. It essentially boils down to plain descriptions of events from those episodes, in stark black and white, with nothing by way of contextualisation or analysis. What remains is a redundant, incomplete-seeming A-Z (again, seemingly referencing only the same handful of episodes) and list of episode blurbs. It’s fun to be reminded of a show you enjoy but there’s very little to be learnt.
