This was interesting, but not particularly useful. It reads like some sort of inspirational book rather than the practical "toolkit" it purports to be. The best part of the book is that it is full of cool profiles of city branding and social initiatives from around the world. There are also some nice quotes to pull on the value of culture and the creative industries to local economies. It was an engaging read, but I'm not sure what to do with the information next.
