Here’s why this one didn’t work for me:
Raptor (VP) and Sage (club girl) start up a FWB thing that obviously means more to both of them…but Raptor is a tool and leaves town without her to start up a new club in his hometown. This happens at around 40%. It’s not until around 75% that they’re reunited… and it’s not through anything he does. It’s more to do with she’s in danger and needs protection and he’s apparently her only option, so the club sends her to him. We’re supposed to ignore the fact that not once during the time they’re separated did he contact her, and how the only reason they’re together in the end is because of circumstance.
Raptor would have continued to live his life and move on from Sage had she not been in danger. I just couldn’t get past that it took so long for them to be reunited, and annoyed that he didn’t have the balls to go after her in the first place.
Passive heroes bore me. Like this one did.
ETA: both are celibate during the months they’re apart.

This was a super sexy read! Everything I love about a good MC romance story! Loved the angst loved the characters I absolutely loved the chemistry between Raptor and Jade there’s secrets and twists and turns that kept me engaged in this story definitely recommend!

This one was really good. Interesting and not like the other books. The hawks are just such a cool idea. I can't wait to read the next book.

There is tons of chemistry between Raptor and Jade and their spicy times are some of the hottest Ms. Allen has written! Can't wait to see what happens next in Dallas!

A new charter in the RBMC...

Raptor's story starts when he was just wet behind the ears... he wants to do things his way... not be what his father wants him to be or live off their money. When he finds out he has a child on the way he joined the military to support a new wife and child. When he deployed again she was pregnant with the second kid.
Comes home and everything is gone and he loses everything. Big broke heart and a best friend set's him up with his MC club. He doesn't believe in love nor does he want an old lady but he also won't share. One of the club girls he has always wanted but stays away because she is with all the brothers... they make an arrangement.
Before he gets caught in feelings he leaves on a trip and ends up reopening an old chapter. He leaves everything and every body behind.
Sage works at the strip club but only dances if they are short on dancers. The other girls are leaving and some just disappeared... now someone wants her but she won't give in... until she might not have a choice. How can the club protect her....

Sage "Cookie" has wanted Raptor, the new President of the Royal Bastards MC in Texas, from the day she saw him, but Raptor felt she was too young and when he finally took her up on what she had to offer it came crashing down around him when he left to start a new chapter. He leaves without looking back even though he still thinks of Sage. When he sees her on the back of the bike of another member who has come to visit, he knows he is not going to let her go a second time. Trouble is brewing though, will they withstand the storm around them?
Normally I do not read too many books where a club girl is involved, but this one works. I really liked Sage and Raptor together it worked for them. Tons of characters I want to read stories about. Great beginning to new series.

Taming Raptor
Well it look like Raptor is going to a favorite amongst some of the readers. I love his characters a lot, he's very kinky which I absolutely love. Although he fought his feelings for Sage, he made sure to grovel ans beg for a second chance. This new chapter is a great new start to a phenomenon series. I can't wait to see what else will happen.

Holy sh!t, I love this author and the men that she writes. So far Voodoo has held top spot for me….but I think Raptor has taken his place, or they’re tied. Raptor has a lot of trauma and now doesn’t trust women. He also has some (fun) and particular tastes in bed, and he doesn’t want to get involved with jailbait, even if she’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. Cookie/Sage is on the run with her best friend Blade who becomes a prospect at the club (I really need Blade’s book) and she becomes a club girl/stripper/strip club manager. Over a decade Cookie loves Raptor, and Raptor is fascinated by Cookie….but it takes all those years for Raptor to break and finally sleep with her. When he does he makes it clear that it’s just exclusive sleeping together and nothing else. Maybe he should have stuck to his own rules? Raptor ends up doing some majorly crappy things and Cookie gets someone obsessed with her. There’s tons of heat, action, angst, and romance. I couldn’t love this book more….though some ends are left loose and I need to have answers in the next book!!

This was one hell of a way to start a new chapter for the Royal Bastards! If you've read Kristine Allens other chapter in the series than you know all those alpha boys have a little something extra. I won't give away what Raptor has but it's a good one. Raptor has been through alot in his life and like most men ran from his past when it broke him. He ended up with the Ankeny chapter in Iowa far from his home in Texas and his family, with good reason to leave to. While in Iowa he meets Cookie when she comes to the club to be a clubwhore at 17. He found out her age and stayed away from her for longer than I think any man could considering he had an instant connection to her. Eventually he gave in and then was the biggest ass you can imagine. I still don't know how she could ever forgive what he did so easily to her but I guess love is love. Cookie gets herself in a couple situations and the club thinks it's best to get her out of town and sends her to Raptor in Texas without him knowing. To say he was pissed and happy at the same time would be an understatement. The trouble of course follows her but Raptor and his new chapter and family protect her. While in Texas Raptor learns he should have confronted his past he ran from alot sooner than he was for many different reasons. This book leaves off on a cliffhanger of sorts but overall it was a great start to a new chapter and I can't wait to see what she does with the new boys and what their something extras will be. Kristine Allen definitely does not disappoint!

One thing about RBMC books, these are men that live a hard life with no excuses. They protect those in their circle without question and with everything they have. A lot of times these stories come with a warning which you need to pay attention to. So, no skipping past what the author has labeled important.
Our author has divided her story into parts. This may help you when you are trying to figure out the best stopping point. But once you meet the main characters that may be difficult to adhere to.
Raptor has reconnected with someone from his military days. If you’ve not met him before, I suggest at some point you go back and read A Very Venom Christmas. Sage is a woman who thinks she knows the score. But she may end up as surprised as we are. Theirs was a story that starts a new chapter in the Royal Bastards MC.
You can expect plenty of heat, some jealousy, a man that at times I can visualize him beating his chest and in the next moment he seems to walk around with the word “stupid” flashing on his forehead. Raptor is not your normal member of the MC. He has a special talent that only certain people in his circle have. This is also some of why it becomes difficult to find the perfect spot to take a reading break. When all is said and done, I came away wanting more but knowing I’ll have to be patient.

We first meet Raptor in Voodoo: RBMC: Ankeny IA Book 1, but we didn’t know much about who Raptor was until we got a peak in Charming Phoenix: RBMC: Ankeny IA Book 6.
Raptor has always kept to himself but had a steady and even presence in the chaos that sometimes come to the club’s door. If you have read Charming Phoenix, you know that there is more to Raptor than meets the eye, he has secrets that he keeps not just to protect himself, and we now find out that our boy Raptor has a naughty side.
Cookie has been around since the beginning, sexy, sassy, no nonsense, and a favourite with our boys. I have always had a soft spot for Cookie, she didn’t play games like some of the hang arounds and getting to know her and explore where she came from was as exciting as it was heart breaking. The depth of character and back story means that for me she is no longer Cookie but Sage. I loved finding out who she is and where she came from and her connection to Blade made my heart full that she has him in her corner.
Seeing the back story build with these 2 characters was so delicious, like plucking the petals of a flower their story built like a slow burn, slowly creeping up on you, when they finally give in WOW the sparks fly.
This series by Kristine Allen holds a special place for me and she has started this new RBMC Dallas boys off with all the bells and whistles. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for the brothers of the RBMC Dallas.

EXCELLENT
Raptor met Sage when she was 17 to his 25. From the get she drew him in like none other. It took 10 years for him to finally give in to her tempting ways. He made her an offer she couldn't refuse. He swore she'd forget any other man but him. He was true to his word but then he's offered a chance of a lifetime and it requires his moving out of the state.
Sage has been in love with Raptor since she first laid eyes on him. For many, she seems to be wild and crazy yet she craves Raptor like none other. When he finally shows signs of giving in to her constant teasing, she is beside herself especially once they're spending time together. His sudden departure almost ruins her. Once the RBMC figure out she's in danger she's sent to Texas where Raptor is establishing the new chapter of the RBMC. Some truths come to light but will these two manage to repair their hearts now that their paths have crossed again?
Wow is what I kept saying to myself as I continued reading. This is an EXCELLENT addition to Ms. Allen's Royal Bastards MC series!

Cookie didn't have an easy life when young, scared not understanding what was being done to her for a long time, thankful for Blade and his friendship and help to get away. But they are more brother and sister than anything, best friends. Rapter has been badly hurt, deceived by his wife and he feels his family, but all is not as he understands it to be. His attraction to Cookie has been faught, for ten years he has stood strong, but once he gives in once, the battle is lost. I totally got his motives, decisions, he was running scared. I felt for him and Sage, the two boys, whose mother really was a selfish, money hungry and undeserving of any love or trust. This story is full of twists and turns, there is violence and a threat. Building of trust and love, starting fresh with new beginnings, new friendships and clubhouse. Reinventing and raising the old chapter with mostly new members, forming a new brotherhood and family. There is love and abiding support and it's all wrapped up in a pretty red bow, coz Rapter really likes those. I know there is more to this story and can't wait to read the rest. Fabulous, gripping story, emotional and so easy to get sucked into.

I didn't want this book to end! I have been eagerly awaiting Raptors book to finally get his story and I loved every second of it! He was so alpha and dominant. Cookie I had a harder time with. I wasn't really fond of her at least not until we got to her backstory. Once Sage shared her story I started to feel for her. She was resilient and strong. She really felt like the right person for Raptor. I really felt bad for Raptor and all the crap he had to endure. No wonder he was so jaded! I loved the touch of paranormal/shifter to the story. This was an exciting and emotional story with a bit of humor mixed in. I love when all the guys get to together because the ribbing they give each other is so freaking funny!
Kristine Allen did a wonderful job with this story and I'm really excited for the next one! I also loved the second epilog because that had been a burning question for me and I was so happy to finally have an answer as to how he got his name. Adrian 'Raptor' and Sage 'Cookie' met at a time when desires were high, but age and past baggage was not on their side.
Raptor was not a sharing man and he was burned in the past, so he kept his feelings and distance from Cookie, until finally he could not avoid her any longer.
Cookie made a good name for herself in the club, she was secure in herself and was satisfied in her role, until Raptor turned her life upside down.
This book showed that sometimes timing is not right, but when it happens it is all worth it in the end. It might be a long hard road to get there, but once you open your heart to someone life becomes so much better. Everyone deserves happiness and your past does not stop you from having a future once you let love back in.

This is a great story of a slow gradual love that kinda creeps up on you out of the blue.
Raptor and Cookie are dancing around each other for the last ten years. When they finally come together it is off the charts hot. They start a hot affair and it goes until Raptor is given the go ahead to reopen the Dallas Chapter of the Royal Bastards. Raptor just up and leaves Cookie without telling her, this hurts her and slowly drives him to realize how much she means to him.
Cookie is trying to cope without Raptor and doing an ok job of it, but when trouble comes to the clubs strip joint, she is in danger and the people around her also.
It is decided that she will go to Texas and hide out, till the trouble is taken care of. When she gets there her presence knocks Raptor off his game. They start off on a rocky start and she makes him gravel and he pays for being a jerk to her.
They work stuff out and are looking forward to a good future together with the rest of the club and Raptors family.

Wow, I was so wondering how Raptor’s story was going to go. May I say Ms. Allen didn’t disappoint me. His storyline was just perfect. Oh don’t get me wrong, he and Sage have their ups and downs, hot times and fights but their storyline fits them to a tee.
Raptor’s world was destroyed when his ex-wife left him taking his boys, but his own family’s betrayal burned deep into his soul. He’s become a hardened man with no room for long term relationships. His one weakness: Cookie - aka Sage. He met her when she was a teenager hanging around the clubhouse with one of his MC brothers. For 10 years he’s stayed away from but all it took was one night for her to become his world. But when he was offered the Prez of the new Dallas, TX RBMC chapter, he left her behind. Little does he know the trouble he’s facing both in Texas and from the woman he walked away from.
Awesome read. I highly recommend it and can’t wait for more from the Dallas RBMC

His ex wife is a fucking bitch that needs a beat down asap!! That's very unacceptable about those 2 kids and about him!! He has every ft 2 b beyond pissed off!! When he was still in Iowa he finally gave into his craving 2 b with Cookie just a few xs 2 c what is truly going on about his feelings. He was severely burnt with 1 relationship that he refuses 2 ever do anything like that again. But can things change when xs get really tough and deadly? Read and find out asap!! He did get a couple of small answers that he was wondering if it was true about the past or 1 of many petty things 2 get back at him cause of his psychotic bitch of a ex? Read and find out. I loved it!! I just want 2 read about Soap asap!! I've been waiting over a yr- 1 1/2 at least... I do feel like it's unfinished though about who is exlately is after Cookie and why. I still don't get the story about his cousin from what he said was 2 brief and didn't really explain much of anything.

Another Starter Chapter.
Gotta love the men of RBMC. Alpha men with supernatural and gifted perks. We learn several of their secrets as Sage aka Cookie and Adrien aka Raptor’s story gets told. How they meet, their individual history, and up until they become a couple. It’s raw, heart wrenching and epically beautiful in its emotion. The drama is there along with the tension of danger and death while Raptor rekindles an old chapter in Dallas, TX (yeah spoiler alert). Thankfully the blood and gore details are moderate because, let’s be honest, it’s about the romance and Sage and Adrien’s story. Toss in ex-wife, questionable paternity and family betrayal - it’s almost like a mafia saga. Amazing how unsolved mysteries are resolved toward the end to close up loose ends (kudos Oh Great Author) with the second epilogue segue into another troubled Brother, Memphis aka Soap. Addiction of this new series at its finest.

WOW HOT HOT HOT!!!! This book melted me in more than one way, super hot read that had me panting. Raptor "Adrian" is the very definition of hot biker. He only wants sex and that is all he has ever wanted since he was damaged by his ex-wife, but Sage is one complication who steps into his life in a way that he never saw coming. After resisting her for 10 years their coming together is EXPLOSIVE. Their road was definitely rocky but I loved every moment. I know that some parts of Sage's story was hard to read, but it just made me love her all the more. This story is intense, full of danger, hot & steamy, romance, twists & turns, and family. I am so loving this chapter of the RBMC. Kristine Allen is amazing and I can't wait to read more from her.

This one wasn’t really my cup of tea. The sex was a bit much for me, so be warned. I actually ended up skimming through most of it once it became clear that it was more than what I wanted to read. I’m not really into the whole ‘yes sir’, ‘you’re my good girl’🤮 and wearing certain things constantly while he’s not around just because he said so.
I also wasn’t too thrilled that Raptor just up and left Sage when he moved and never bothered with contacting her at all. He had feelings for her but instead of being honest with himself and her he up and left her. The only reason they got back together was because she was sent to Texas when her life was in danger. Otherwise she would have stayed in Iowa and had his baby all alone.
Honestly this whole surprise baby thing is getting to be a repeated theme in these books. It’s getting boring.

This book held me captive from the beginning till the end. The words flowed effortlessly revealing this phenomenal story. I loved the push and pull between Raptor and Sage. These two characters really surprised me. With these two I just never knew what to expect. I felt like they had this unique relationship just because of the circumstances surrounding their beginning and how over the course of the story things evolved into much more. Although there's like this inner struggle in a sense with Raptor when it came to certain things. Action, suspense, a touch of danger, and so much more. It's definitely a book that I recommend reading. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and it's a great addition to the series.

Wow! Taming Raptor is one hot 🔥 read. Raptor has a thing for Cookie but won't act on it because she is too young. Ten years later Raptor finally gives in and they have a monogamous relationship. Only until Raptor has to move home to Texas without her. This situation causes alot of hurt in Cookie and self loathing in himself. Trouble starts back in Iowa and Venom decides that Cookie should go to Texas for safety reasons. The question is what will Taptor have to say and will things work out for them. Please, pick up a copy of Taming Raptor today snd start reading. It's totally worth them money. It will draw you in from the first page until the last.

Raptor. He has had some trials and heartbreak and the brothers have always been there for him. Family is not necessarily blood and the bond can be even stronger.
And with those brothers, Cookie has always been there, but the timing never seemed right and when it did, he has to leave.
