Broke and bitter, Karia Mitchell is just done. So damn tired of it all. After spending a decade in a loveless and toxic marriage, she’s finally breaking free and rebuilding her life. The prospect of starting over at forty-one is gut wrenching, but she’s willing to do whatever it takes as long as she’s rid of her ex. However, he continues to lurk in the background posing as a silent but obvious threat. Karia takes it all in stride, knowing he may have won the battle, but there is still a war to be fought, and she might just hold the ace up her sleeve.

Her plan to stay focused on her future is completely derailed when she crosses paths with a broody, standoffish, mysterious biker. Dangerous and unpredictable men are apparently her Achilles heel. But Karia is determined to break the cycle and stay clear of the dark haired, scarred biker with a permanent scowl. Easy, light, and fun, that’s who she needs, not a man who will draw her deeper into the dark depths of a world where she doesn’t know the rules.

Wade “Trick” Hardy spent four years as a nomad, leaving the Ghosttown East Motorcycle Club behind after a devastating tragedy. Living off the grid has taught him to be wary of those who try to get too close. But now he’s back with his brothers. Trick may live a life outside of East, but he’s still loyal and solid to the club members. Back in with East, but it’s only temporary. Trick has no plans of sticking around. The scars and wounds are too deep, and he’s content with riding away. Then she shows up, changing everything.

Two virtual strangers. Broken, battered, and wounded. They might just be exactly what each other needs.

Amelia Shea writes contemporary romance. She released her debut novel in 2015, and has followed her passion for series romance ever since. Her writing style includes a little sweet, a little sassy and lots of steam. She loves building stories with settings that become comfortable and familiar, and developing characters who feel real, and though they may be flawed, they learn and grow, and finally deserve a happy ending. When she is not writing, she is obsessed with reading (all genres although she does has a soft spot for romance), coffee (it's more of an addiction but she prefers obsession) and perfecting her "y'all" (just a northern girl living in the south).

Wonderful!

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trope: heroine in peril
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥

Another great story that will rip your heart out while piecing it back together. Fast paced with tons of action. Its a bit lighter on the smexy times, but has tons of chemistry with great emotional connection to tide you over. Love this series, alk the guys, and all their women. Super excited for the last two books so I'm trying to force myself not to skip ahead, lol.

Karia has been my favorite heroine of this series. She was a fighter when forced with a kindness that was enviable. She was loyal and no matter what crap hand she was dealt, she took it on with class.

She was exactly what Trick needed. She took his broken, mended it and together they were just about perfect. There is wisdom that comes with age and it really showed.

I love this series! Lastly, everyone needs a Sal. ❤️

Quick(ish) Review

The latest Hosttown East book is exactly what I expected and continues the story of this MC series in solid fashion.

Karía and Trick are older main characters who have lived through some sh…stuff and that’s always more interesting to me. All the usual MC romance content warnings apply - there be misogyny, violence, death, danger, etc. there’s references to illness etc and ngl, I spent a good portion of the book crossing fingers that nothing happened to Zee, the dog (kill all the characters you want just leave the animals alone please and thank you).

Anyway, this series is best read in order as you’ll have a better understanding of the verse and the way these characters came to meet. I enjoyed myself and would definitely read more in this ‘verse.

I found Karia to be very interesting, mostly because we knew a bit about her form the last book, but only in passing. Seeing how her life was after having been so used was bad, she was hanging on by a fingernail and it wouldn't take much to make her fall. What she didn't realize is that she had some powerful allies, they just needed to talk to each other and realize who Karia was to each of them, when that finally happened, I found myself laughing.

I found Karia and Trick to be an interesting pairing, wasn't sure they were going to work, but they did. I'm glad that both of them fought for their relationship when it really mattered. Loved how this one ended, both in the present and the future.

Wade "Trick" Hardy is a nomad and has come back to the Ghosttown East MC to help get the renewed club up and using his talents to help out where he can. He notices Karia Mitchell at the complex that the club is going to be taken over. Everything about her calls to him, but he is a Nomad and not willing to settle down. He has ghosts in his past that have kept him as a nomad. That being said Karia has had a miserable divorce and took something that was her ex, she was planning to use it for a better settlement but she finds herself in danger instead. Will Trick be willing to put his claim on her in order to protect her or will he head back to nomadland?

Another terrific read in this series. Each story is so different the the last and you get a glimpse of Karia in one of the other books and she lives up to what I expected. Trick is more broody but you are completely pulled in with his characters. Can't wait for the next book.

I loved this book. I’ve been so curious about Trick over the last few books. The silent types just make me curious to know everything about them. Once, again the inclusion of the Underground and the hotties that rule it was key to the action and hotness of this book. I know that series is coming next, and I cannot wait. Trick was the perfect blend of possessive bad boy with grey morals who will do anything for his club and woman. I love this kinky side too. Initially I really enjoyed the character of Karia. She’s not a 20 year old heroine who hasn’t experienced life; instead she’s a recent divorcee and nurse who has had it rough the last year or two. She’s smart and great throughout the book, till she’s not. In the last 20% I wanted to sm@ck her constantly. She got to the point of being too stupid to live, and that made me knock a star off my rating. The club, Trick, Underground, Dahlia, etc. really we’re key to making the ending spectacular. Love this series and Brew is next!!!

Trick and Karia are so good together

This is book seven and a heartfelt read. The storyline is one that will pull on your heart. Trick is the blood brother of Tracer who in the last book is coupled up with Camille (another heart tugging story). Karia is recently divorced from Gregory. He is a total jerk and selfish. Gregory works for the Underground, so they cleaned out Karia so she was left with nothing not even what she brought into the marriage. Well as this story unfolds, we learn the Gregory is more shady. Karia catches the eye of Trick and both of them feel a connection. Karia is super cool woman and goes after what she wants. It’s a pleasure to see a female character go after her man. There are triggers as the lead characters bring some baggage to their new relationship. Read On!

I really wanted to like this one, as I’ve enjoyed both Ghosttown series, but it missed the mark for me. Trick was fine (except for the car keys incident🙄) but Karia was just kind of lame/oblivious. She was “stuck” in a shitty marriage for 10+ years, got shafted in the divorce, yet thought she’d get one over on her awful ex (whom was a higher up in the Underground crime syndicate, of course she had no idea before East told her). TSTL moment ensues.

Also, WTF is Chase still doing prospecting? Everyone hates him and he will never be voted in.

I wish Ms. Shea should switch to the Underground characters stories. I’m kind of over this MC, except for Ryder…

Just wow

Trick came back to help his brothers but was going to remain Nomad. Karia’s life was a mess. A nurse , a recent nasty divorce leaving her with nothing. Both of them have major trust issues and major attractions for each other.
Slow they come together but now Karia is in danger from her ex and the Underground boss Oz . Karia is holding what her husband wants hoping to bargain to get back what she lost.
I love how the author presents OZ and his crew with the mystery surrounding them. Sal a friend of Karia’s father becomes her hero and Grain omg love him. Happy reading

Another great installment in the Ghottown East series!! Trick was my kind of H: badass, steadfast, mature, a soft side for his lady and dominant in the bedroom. Karia was living on her own after a bad divorce. I admired how hard she worked to get by, the hilarious friendship she had with Jen and later, Grain, and the relationship she had with her father and his friend Sal. Karia did have a couple TSTL moments that I could have done without.

Thank you, Amelia Shea, for another fabulous MC book!

Example of Perfection

Amelia Shea does two types of books.... One type has alpha males and strong females and the other type is alpha males with quirky females. I consider the Chameleon and the wildcard to be two that have the strong female and they are good. But the Nomad is quirky female and all of the quirky female books just come across as being extra. The relationship Karia has with Sal, her friendship with Jen, and the relationship she has with Trick is phenomenal. I love this book and will continue to one click all Amelia Shea's books.

Fantastic read

Absolutely loved Karia and Tricks story. Full of chemistry, hit scences and heaps of biker goodness.

Karia Is freshly divorced but unfortunately for her her ex screwed her out of everything. Forced to start again at the age if forty, Karira is doing the best she can.

Trick is every but Alpha a##hole with a soft squidgy center reserved for his brothers. Trick is cautious about women and relationships thanks to the deadbeat women in his past. Hut there is something about Grove Mills new resident that he can't seem to ignore.

Awesome Read

Excellent continuation to Ghosttown East series. Every book I don’t think could get better. They are all great reads, interesting and keep you engrossed so that you don’t want to put them down and then when you are finished you are anxiously waiting for the next book. This is one of the best authors I have read. There is always a bit of humor, and just the right amount of suspense.

Wish I could give 10 stars

This was so very good. I just could not stop reading. I wanted to see what happened but I did not want it to end. Highly recommend this one. A nomad biker meets a nurse. This one has mystery, action, a murder, a kidnapping, and a confrontation.

I cried huge tears and at other times I laughed out loud. You gotta love a book that makes the reader feel the action. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger.

Crazy good book

Loved this book. Awesome characters, well written story line. Rollercoaster ride of emotions. I was hooked from the word go. Couldn't put it down. Trick is finally getting his hea. Can't wait for Chase to get kicked out. He's a character I absolutely loathe. I was hoping Zee would take a bite out of Gregory.
Grain needs his hea. So worried that he's getting killed off. My heart can't take it...

Trick and Karia

This was another fantastic story. Trick went the nomad route for a while, until Gunner called him home to help out with the club. Karia is an amazing nurse and has a soft heart, but she also got really screwed over by her ex. I love how she is with Grain. I also loved the unexpected surprise about Sal. Don't know what happens next with some of the prospects, but I really hope Pete gets to stay, but do whatever with Chase. Happy reading.

I have found another book boyfriend!😍

One more fantastic read in the Ghost town East series. Ms. Shea is a wonderful story teller. She gives her characters depth and makes them come alive in your mind. Her epilogues make u hungry for the next book. SOOO glad I found her! Trick the "porno biker\finger banger" sounded so sexy a raw and his love interest being a nurse (me too) made him that much more desirable. Recommend recommend recommend!!!

Fantastic

Another fantastic read by this author. Two broken souls. Karia has had a hard 10 years but she is finally divorced and hopefully clear of her ex. Trick has been living nearly off grid but came home to help his brothers.
He's determined he is only staying for a short while until his attention is snagged by the sassy Karia.

Amazing Writer

Amelia is an amazing writer, and brings her characters to life with each story.
The Nomad had me from the the first page, I could not put the book down.
The love story between Karia and Trick is my favorite so far from Ghosttown East.
Karia's instant friendship with Grain was just another layer of the story to keep me glued to the book.
Definitely a great read by a an amazing Author.

I love the Ghosttown family

I loved Trick and Karia. Getting to see them get together and all the connections being revealed. Chase of course causing trouble and somehow still breathing. I can’t wait to see him get his. I loved Grain and Karia and Grain and Zee’s interactions. I can’t wait for more Ghosttown and more of the Underground guys.

Absolutely loved it!

Karia and Trick are the PHENOMENAL couple who star in this installment of the Ghosttown East MC book. There is plenty of mystery, intrigue, MC drama and lots of the real spicy good stuff.
You’ll end up cheering on this couple as they navigate a precarious road to HEA. I ended up with happy and sad tears throughout the read. Absolutely loved it!!!

Wow just wow! So great.

This is the seventh book of Amelia's I've read and I have become one of her fans. These books are so good. There is such a strong story in each one. With the characters in each book I have gotten to know more about them. One story carries you into the next. There is so much involved in each one.

F Me why am I crying?

Maybe because I have been missing my Ghostown East boys? Or because Karia was awesome? Dang this was a goody. Karia wasn't quirky and wasn't secretly bad ass like most of the heroines. She was just normal and mmm it was a good story. Read it asap!
