Upcycled to Death
An Out of the Box Mystery
Maria Olson lives alone in a 200-year-old adobe home in Albuquerque New Mexico’s Old Town. The creative 30-year-old has an uncanny ability to see beauty in discarded junk and owns a successful online shop selling repurposed items.
When a new shipping container shopping area is announced, Maria takes the leap to a brick-and-mortar store by leasing a boxcar. As she sets up her new shop, Upcycled, she gets to know the other eclectic merchants, including the handsome brothers who own Rusty Railroad Brewery.
Just days before the new center opens, Maria stumbles over a dead body lying next to her shop. When the death is deemed suspicious, she takes a closer look at the other business owners and wonders if she might be in danger.
Maria and her very pregnant best friend Jill try to find the answers. But they deal with an aggravating detective, a sleazy landlord, crazy mishaps, and dangerous situations.

Another page-turner from Martha Landes
From the first sentence, I was hooked. Martha has an intense, fast-paced writing style that won’t let you put the book down. “Upcycled” is an energetic, light-hearted murder mystery. It has twists, turns, danger and excitement without being dark or gruesome. Eagerly awaiting her next book!
