A super collectible series that celebrates the inner fire of everyday girls! Grace, Zoe, and Sofia share an incredible secret. They can transform into powerful Sea Dragons when they travel to the Magic Forest! Each of the girls has a deep love of the water. Grace is a skilled swimmer, Zoe is an avid surfer, and Sofia is an experienced diver. They must work together to save the forest’s waterways from the evil Fire Queen. Grace’s swimming skills will be put to the test as she leads her friends in a quest to rescue a kidnapped dolphin. If the dolphin is not returned, the Magic Forest will never be the same!
Maddy Mara is the pen name of Melbourne-based creative duo Hilary Rogers and Meredith Badger. Hilary and Meredith have been collaborating on children's books for nearly two decades. Hilary is an author and former publishing director; Meredith is the author of countless books for kids and young adults, and teaches English as a foreign language. Maddy Mara is the melding of their respective daughters' names.
Super fun, short chapter book to read to your kids before bedtime. Maddy does great at painting a imaginative picture in small words that young kids can understand.
Readaloud with both girls! The story was okay (it’s a giant series with several authors), but it’s the first book both girls have maintained an interest in to the end. Lily picked it out if a Scholastic book order (for the necklace, let’s be real) and they want to read the next one already!
The authors hit another home run. These books have influenced my daughter to create her own dragon stories, and she now loves all things dragons. This book is an interesting take on sea dragons with all new obstacles and new lessons to learn. The main one is don't judge a person by their appearance. So far, each book is packed with adventure and wonder. The only question I have is how the fire queen escaped?
Book 10 of the Dragon Girls ( first book of the three part adventure of the Sea Dragons). We follow the three camp friends Grace, Zoe and Sofia and Graces sidekick FinFin. The girls love the water and will need to help the Tree Queen protect the Magic Forest.
This is my second favorite of the series after Rosie the twilight dragon.
omg I'm so excited for my six year old to be able to read these books on her own. they're fine, they're just SO formulaic and we've re-read many of them multiple times.
