You are my reason
This story will have you intrigued from the start. Once I started reading I didn't want to stop, I knew there was lies, betrayal but what is revealed is insanity. I love reading about Jules and Mason and I can’t wait to read what happens next.
You are my hope
Jules loves Mason but can't get out of her head what he did. Mason will do anything for Jules, he loves her unconditionally. But when someone rips their lives apart and Mason's secret is exposed, can Jules ever forgive him. The heart wants what the heart wants and Mason will convince Jules of that. I love this series and I love the characters. As you read you can feel the heartbreak the characters go through and you can't help hoping they get there HEA that they both deserve. Once you start reading you will not want to stop.

Enjoyed It
I absolutely loved the revised version of such a great and moving book (formerly known as Imperfect #1) and the character development was so intriguing that I couldn't put it down.
You Are My Hope:
The last book in this duet wraps up Jules and Mason's story in such a nice bow. I loved how throughout this whole duet, Mason and Jules' relationship grew stronger and it was just a great way to end this duet as a whole.

I loved Julia and Masons duet!!! The pain Julia feels you can feel seep lol ff the pages and the way Mason wants nothing but to let her see the light again when knowing what he holds deep inside could do the opposite he try’s his best and I loved him!!!! Definitely a emotional rollercoaster

Julia lost her husband a few months ago and is lost without him. She's going through a difficult time with everything and then she meets Mason. They agree to a one night stand, but it doesn't end there. Mason has a troubled past as well and is hiding a secret. As their story unfolds, bits and pieces are revealed. Will the secrets come between them? Lies are uncovered and truths are revealed.
Edge of your seat suspense, lies, truths, deception, steam and passion. Can Julia trust Mason after his huge secret is revealed? So much suspense and intensity. Full of emotion.

5/5 stars almost doesn't feel enough to me.
Books like this, especially when written in a way that I can relate to Julia and the struggles she goes through, helps me get out of my own head and process my own thoughts and issues.
In this book, Julia's life falls apart after losing her husband, Mason forces his way into her life and her heart, helping her heal and begin to cope and move on. But as secrets come to light and Julia unveils just how tied to her past Mason really is.. Can she still love him?
(We all know that's a hell yes..)

I received an ARC for an honest review.
This was a very nice storyline, I enjoyed the two characters of Julia and Mason. I also loved the overlap in the books with the supporting characters. Everyone has their own unique stories and I really liked how they blended together.
This did feel a bit over dramatic at times, almost like a Lifetime movie. I had a hard time getting through some parts, they felt repetitive.
This was a very nice storyline, I enjoyed the two characters of Julia and Mason. I also loved the overlap in the books with the supporting characters. Everyone has their own unique stories and I really liked how they blended together.

This is my first time reading this book. I didn't read Imperfect, which this book was originally published as so I am just going off of this book and not comparing it to Imperfect.
You Are My Reason easily sucked me into it. I swear to you that when I picked this book up, it felt like I was reading for 10 minutes. When in actuality, I was halfway through the book! I couldn't peel my eyes from this book if I tried. Mason and Julia are such an easy couple to like and read about. They are simple, but not too simple and very interesting. They are both guarded and holding things back from one another, but for good reason. They have depth and a lot of emotion toward each other, I can't wait to see where book two goes and how everything plays out.
If you are looking for an emotional, fast-paced, mystery, and suspenseful read with some steamy part, this is a great book to pick up!

You Are My Hope is the second book in the ‘You Are Mine’ duet. This book picked up right where book one left off and it really sucked me right in.
Nothing about this love story was easy. Jules, especially, had to endure a lot of pain and hurt which isn't always easy to just let go of. Everything that happened in this book as well as the previous book was absolutely heartbreaking for our heroine, Julia. I swear it felt like everywhere we turned something else ended up hurting her. It definitely kept my emotions in high alert. There were times throughout the book where I was saying to myself “OMG I love Mason, he’s so dreamy” and “ What the heck is wrong with this man. Everything he has done has hurt Jules. I hate him.” But let’s be real, in reality, Mason is absolutely dreamy and definitely on my top list of favorite Willow Winters men!
This book truly didn’t let me put it down. I was definitely playing detective throughout the entire book and it really kept me guessing every step of the way. There are secrets, lies, loss and old wounds that just can’t heal themselves. Sometimes love stories get the happy ever after, and sometimes you get the happy ever after but with also a cruel dose of reality and knowing that not everything ends with sunshine and rainbows. If you’re looking for a really great suspenseful, and twisty, that can keep you on your toes kind of read, then this is definitely something I highly recommend you pick up!

You Are My Reason Review:
Julia and Mason's story exceeded my expectations and completely consumed me from the very beginning of the story. After losing her husband 8 months beforehand, Julia is trying to piece her life back together when she meets Mason, she wants to move forward and start living again but her fear stands in her way, making it almost impossible for her to move on, her anxiety taking the front seat in her life and making it a struggle to see the future in front of her.
Mason knows Julia, but they haven't met but the moment they do, he knows that he needs, wants, and has to have this woman. Even though it's dangerous and not the smartest idea, he can't seem to deny himself of her. Mason has secrets, sins from his past that could ruin Julia and could ruin the love they have for each other. Will Julia find out these secrets?
This book flawed me, I was captivated with Ms. Winters's words and the depth of this story. As always, Willow Winters throws me through a tunnel of so many raw emotions. This book is packed with passion, mystery, lies, betrayal, pain, and anger. I had so many emotions throughout the book. Completely spellbound and so intrigued to see where she goes with these two!

This is why Willow Winters is a top 3 favorite author of mine. She continues to blow my mind with her way with words and continues to write such epic stories that completely consume me and You Are My Hope was no exception. Just having finished You Are My Reason (Part 1 to this duet) I was eager to continue the story. It picks up where book one left off and it threw me right back Mason and Julia's intense and insanely hot love story.
Mason has become such a favorite of mine through these two books. He's dominant, possessive, protective and loves recklessly for Julia and is willing to do anything to keep her as "his". He can't see how life without this woman in it and when that could be a possibility, he won't let that happen. But will he be able to win Julias' trust back?
Julia comes clean about things and is struggling on if she should listen to her heart or her mind. She is torn on what to do.
Will these two get their HEA? Will Mason be able to win her back?
This book was full of suspense, intense heat, angst, drama, and plot twists I did not see coming. Once again, Ms. Winters flaws me with her ability to write a story so captivating that I was completely consumed from beginning to end.

You Are My Reason is going down as one of my all time favorites by Willow Winters. It had me sitting on edge of my seat from the very beginning. I kept wondering what BIG SECRET Mason was keeping that could destroy the lives of many. When a relationship is based on secrets, oh how quickly it can crumble and fall. Willow Winters has written a story filled with lies, angst, betrayal, suspense, temptation, lust and passion.
Mason Thatcher is a man born into a family of wealth and power. He knows all too well the social status his family name holds and how easily that power and status can make one untouchable and dangerous. Wanting nothing to do with his father or his family legacy, he tries to make a life of his own. In his past he was known as a playboy, a one night stand, or a love them and leave them kind of guy. That was until a red head came along and captured his attention. Too bad she was the one playing him. Broken hearted and carrying a secret that could destroy many lives, Mason shelters himself, focusing on his work and keeping a distance from his father's clutches.
Julia Summers is a good girl that has been born into wealth and has lived a very rich life. Marrying her high school sweetheart was a given, but becoming a widow at such a young age was not. Now morning the loss of her husband for almost a year, she is ready to once again live her life. Finally finding the strength to put herself out there, she joins old friends for a night of drinks and laughs. I fell in love with Mason from the very beginning. The closed off man that has been burned and hurt so badly by a wicked red head woman and his family finally opens up and allows LOVE in. So when he finds the LOVE OF HIS LIFE he doesn't let go. Although Julia thinks she is weak and broken, in reality she is the strongest woman. Mason and Julia's relationship may have its darkness and secrets, but the love that they have for one another is FOREVER. I couldn't put this book down and after it ended I wanted more. Julia Summers is a little lost after losing her husband 8 months ago. When she meets Mason Thatcher one night, her life might just get that spark she is looking for but at what cost? Mason knows something that could destroy everything they might be building. As the story progresses, pieces of the truth will come to light. It took me a bit to get into this story but once I did I had to know what was happening. I enjoyed the overall story and made a few predictions but I’m not sharing them as this does end in a cliffhanger. This is an emotional story about finding yourself again and taking chances...with a twist. I really need book two! Told in dual POV

When lies are uncovered and the truth is revealed what will become of these two? They just found love but can it be saved after everything? “I’m the only knight in shining armor she’s going to get.” Uh oh! Oh Mason, you silly man! I loved how their story unraveled in this duet. Plenty of deception, truths, obsession and a whole lot more. Sometimes it’s better to be with the monster you know than the monster you don’t. Mason and Jules are perfect together in their push and pull for the truth. An intense, dark, romantic suspense that will keep you on your toes until the very end. Told in dual POV

Julia is still trying to find herself after the death of her husband and then one night when she is out with friends, she meets Mason and sparks fly. It was only supposed to be one night but they can’t stay away from each other. Julia is also uncovering secrets about her departed husband; will her future and her past collide? Fast-paced intense read with great chemistry, emotion and steam. I loved it and look forward to reading the second book in this duet. This is the second book in this duet and I do recommend reading them in order. Mason and Jules’ story continues with lots drama, suspense and emotion. The truth is finally exposed but can they survive everything that has happened? Intense read with amazing chemistry and great characters with lots of depth that really draw you into the story. I loved it.

This was another great duet from Willow Winters and I loved the characters and watching Mason and Julia’s development throughout the story. The only reason this was a 4 star instead of a 5 star for me was probably because it took some warming up to Julia and her character for me. This book started with what was suppose to be only one night between to people who needed something from the other and lead into so much more. ~Helen
Another great duet! I could not put this book down. The words formed into a movie in my mind and when I had to pause reading it pulled me back. Characters felt real, the world was painted vividly, and the storyline flowed effortlessly. This book had me on the edge of my seat and I loved every second. Romantic suspense & mystery in addition to everything else Willow does so well?! Mason & Julia are the kind of couple you never see coming or assume wouldn’t work at first glance. There’s several moments of ‘will they, won’t they’ that grip you tight as you are sucked into this story. Heat, betrayal, anger, & drama are all rolled into one fantastic duet! The connection & attraction these two have will have you filled to the brim with emotions & some tropes you may have not originally known you were into. Hahaha. ⭐️5/5 + 🌶 3/5

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this duet in exchange for an honest review. I don’t even know where to begin, but I can tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this duet. I found it exhilarating, captivating and enticing. I don't want my review to give away any spoilers, so please forgive my cryptic writing.
It wasn’t until I got to almost the end of the second book that I better understood Mason. There were times throughout the duet where I found him to be confusing – did he truly love Jules or was he simply narcissistic.
There is so much that happens throughout the duet – so many twists and turns, and so much detail included. It feels not only like an adult romance duet, but also a thriller. There were times during reading that I felt truly scared. It certainly left me gripped until the end! That said, there was still a lot of steamy scenes, which were both erotic and beautiful in equal measures. The chemistry between Jules and Mason is undeniable, but will they ever work as a couple? Could they really be together? Jules has no doubt been through the mill, and her pain and torment is only set to get much worse! We learn that Mason has his own demons and pain to deal with too. Can they ever overcome this?
A phenomenal read, that truly consumed me. It had me gripped. I love the way that the duet is written, and it reads seamlessly like one book. The fear, the torment, and the pain, intoxicatingly mixed with suspense, passion and true feelings between these two characters, creates an absolutely fantastic read – one that I no doubt will be reading again! This book was a whirlwind! Just like how Jules and Mason's relationship went, that's how I felt while reading this book. Mason was just perfect, I was drawn to him immediately just as Jules was. He wants all of her and he wants her to be his no matter what, no commitment challenges here. But, is it too good to be true? I'm left with so many questions! I was pulled in immediately and couldn't put this book down and I cannot wait for more of Jules and Mason in You Are My Hope! I loved this book and I'm waiting on pins and needles to see what's to come!

Julia, a widow, meets Mason, a man with a dangerous secret, at a bar and the connection is immediate. Jules is broken and grieving the man she loves and Mason is hiding a secret that will change Jules' life (and her perception of him) forever. When the secret comes to light, can their love endure?
In all honesty, I didn't love this portion of the duet. I spent this portion confused by what was happening and wishing I could figure out how Mason and Jules knew each other before they met at the bar that night. In an attempt to keep the mystery (which made sense when I read the next part), I felt like some of the character development was sacrificed and I didn't particularly like either of the characters because I didn't feel like I could connect with either one of them. Because the character development was a bit light, it felt very sudden when in the space of a few chapters Mason and Julia went from having sex for the first time to being engaged while Mason attempted to keep some secret that hadn't yet been revealed. Though I would have liked to connect to the characters more, I appreciated the bits of poetry at the beginning of each chapter. They were very well composed and foreshadowed the events of each chapter perfectly. The spice was also top notch! 3/5

Mason's secret is out and Jules is horrified. She wants to leave but he won't let her. It's dangerous for her to be alone, but Mason's presence repulses her... and makes her want him. Can he love her enough to keep her safe and win her back?
I really liked this portion of the duet!! This portion played on the captor/captive and enemies to lovers tropes to craft a story in which HEA is possible. This portion cleared up any and all questions that I had from the first portion, allowing the characters to develop to the point that I was able to connect with and like them both despite Mason's secrets from the past. 4/5

Jules is a socialite who lost her husband 8 months ago. When she meets Mason, a wealthy playboy with a charming smile, she's torn, but ultimately wants to move forward with her life. A one-night stand after meeting at a bar quickly turns into an arrangement for the both of them. With all of the sex and intimate comfort, and none of the strings a relationship title brings. Mason has a lot of secrets that explain why pursuing Jules is not a good idea, and maybe he is ultimately just as bad as his father...
This book was written beautifully. I loved every twist and turn and organic moment. Winters really brought out the emotional whirlwind Jules is going through, especially in how she uses poetry as an outlet for those emotions. The connection between Mason and Jules was palpable - even if I typically don't like insta-lust/love stories. I'm not sure if I was sweating because of the heat wave or because Mason and Jules are just so hot together. Jules, girl, I understand why you like Mason so much. Let's just say he is definitely book boyfriend material.
I do think that the poem inclusions could have been a bit more developed. And the pace of the story ebbed and flowed a bit more than I would have preferred. But overall, a great duet and I cannot wait to salivate over the next one.

When I went into this book. I didn't know what to expect. Ashamed to say this is my first willow Winters book I've read and I have plenty. Its just there so huge. 🤭😉 I posted the photo of Ian somerhalder because he would make the perfect Mason. On the photo is one of many favorite highlighted parts of the book. This is the most perfect book ever. Suspense, romance, thriller and some 🌶. I really enjoyed it. Only reason I gave it a 4 is because it took a bit for the story to come together, felt a little repetitive at first, but overall I loved it and could not put it down. Had me on the edge of my seat.

It's amazing how her words get stuck inside your head and will make you want more and more.

Mason had a shitty day, and his secrets are tearing him apart so he went to his usual bar to try and forget.
When he sees the beautiful Julia, something in him screams that he has to have her.
When they agree to a one-night stand, one night where they could let go and forget in each other's arms.
But they couldn't stick with just one night and then feelings get in the way.
But Mason's past...
Let me just say that I'm so grateful that I have both books to read because the cliffhanger the first book ended with just teared me up in two.
Why all that pain? All that suffering?
Why can't you feel and live?
Stellar plot, well written, super engaging, and intense with a touch of suspense into the mix.
These two were perfect for each other and you can feel the love they shared.
Who says that you can't find true love a second time?
The way the story progressed left me wanting to read and read.
The rollercoaster ride was intense and bumpy, to say the least.
How can you bottle up so must pain, so much grief?
It was an amazing read, that is for sure and I'm so glad that I got the chance to read this. I loved it so much.

It took me awhile to get into this book and understand what it was about. After about 10% I was hooked. Julia Summers is the perfect good girl who was born a socialite and has been mourning the loss of her husband. She's finally ready to put herself back out there. What was suppose to be a one night, mind blowing experience, turns into a secret love affair that neither Mason nor Julia saw coming😈. Mason Thatcher is a man born into a family of wealth and power. He wants nothing to do with his father or his family legacy, he tries to make a life of his own by starting his own business. As for his love life he used to be a fuckboy who only did one night stands.

This duet combines the first two books in the You Are Mine series. Book one is titled You Are My Reason and book 2 is titled You Are My Hope.
The plot follows a woman named Julia who is trying to move on after her husband's death many months prior. She has a hard time going out and having fun because of the grief and guilt she feels without her husband by her side. Along the way she meets Mason who starts to bring her out of her shell and back into enjoying life.
*Book 1: You Are My Reason (4/5 stars).
This book gave me some mixed feelings as I was reading the first books, so I gave it 4 stars. I loved the romance between Julia and Mason but I feel like it was moving so quick that there could have been times where Willow Winters could have slowed down the plot so that the reader could read about the couples romance and focus on the details between them. It seemed like they just met and then a few chapters later they were getting married. Other then that, it was a good read.
*Book 2: You Are My Hope (3.5/5 stars)
Book 2 of the series kind of ruined Julia and Mason's relationship to me. At the end of book one Julia finds out a huge secret about Mason that turns her feelings against him. Instead of acting rationally, he kidnaps her and ties her to the bed not really explaining his crime until a while later. then for the majority of the book he acts like a man obsessed. Reading it I didn't feel like he loved her but that he was more obsessed with her. The way he acted towards her made me dislike him, their relationship, and the book itself.
I would still recommend the book but I don't think I would read Julia and Mason's story again. Willow Winters has so many other books that are more interesting to read.

Readers! Damn. You are my reason….I have posted about so many of Willow Winters books but after reading this one… I have to say I am in awe, of Willow. This book is Jules and Mason’s story. Jules is part of a group of close knit friends and while you can read their stories as stand alones, their lives do intertwine throughout the stories. That being said, I read them backwards. I read Sue first, then Kat and now Jules. Knowing how all the HEAs turned out, I was beyond impressed how, in each story, you only saw from that characters perspective, and as I went backwards I saw just how talented Willow was. When the character commented on how she kept things to herself, she wasn’t kidding. I had no clue what was going on with the other ladies aside from the insight of the characters I was reading. That being said, back to Jules. Oh, I did not see this coming. Not even a little bit. After reading the other books I was sure I had it all figured out. I wasn’t even close. As the story wove through I think I was more pulled in having gone backwards to get to the answer of what happened Mason’s father then if I had read this first. I have to warn you, this one is on the dark side and the HEA isn’t for everyone, but the writing…oh the writing ….it is everything. The love. The romance. The sex. The mystery-and who doesn’t love a little who done it! This book just might be the reason you start binging Willow!

You Are My Reason Duet is so good. I loved the way Willow Winters weaved this story together & am so happy to have both books in one duet.
You Are My Reason-Julia lost her husband 8 months ago & meets Mason. Mason has secrets of his own but is attracted to Julia. While they try to just have fun with each other, there is more to their relationship. Is Julia ready to have Mason in her life with whatever that entails? This story is very intense. There are so many lies & half truths that weave into everything.
You Are My Hope-What an epic conclusion for this series! Just when I thought I had Mason & Julia's story figured out, Willow Winters throws in some twists. She is the Queen of Secrets & knows how to throw you for a loop. I felt so many emotions throughout this whole story. I love the dynamics between Mason & Julia. There are so many feelings going on for both of them. Will everything they have been through in the past & present get worked out? Is their relationship worth fighting for? You just have to read to find out.

I love this duet so much, it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read!

You Are My Reason is one of the most beautiful romance novels I have read in a while. I loved it when it was first published in 2017 (titled Imperfect). I loved the new version even more, although I didn't think it would be possible. The poems at the beginning of each chapter are so wonderful and meaningful and have so much depth.
It is a very intense and emotional read that kept me on the edge of my seat and awake well beyond my bedtime. It's a page-turner that captivated me from the very first page, with intriguing characters. Mason and Julia felt so vivid and palpable that it broke my heart to read about their conflicting emotions and the pain they have to go through, torn by grief, insecurities, denial and secrets. Their connection and attraction is a thing of beauty, and I can’t wait to read the conclusion to their tension-filled and sizzling-hot story.

I felt like I needed a deep breath of fresh air, but the plot did not let me stop long enough to get it. It is that intense, that mind-blowing, that phenomenal!
Although it was a re-read for me, I was again completely captivated by Jules and Mason’s story, even more so than the first time I read it.
In all of Ms. Winters' books, I experience this phenomenon of immersing myself in her stories, forgetting everything around me, and returning to reality after reading them... a true testimony to the huge talent of this author.

Mason Thatcher knows it's wrong to pursue something with Julia, especially since he knows something that could have her running in the opposite direction, but he can't fight the attraction he has for her.

Wow! This romantic suspense is flawlessly and poignantly written—Mason Thatcher and Julia Summer’s bittersweet love story. This story lulled me into a false sense of security, thinking the story was going to go one way when BAM—out of nowhere, I was flabbergasted with the unexpected revelations that happened, but it is jaw-dropping good! This unputdownable page-turning story completely encapsulates the madness of the first stirrings of love and lust when you can’t get enough of someone, yet they each have challenges they need to face. Their story touched me in so many deep-seated ways that I was completely sucked into the vortex of the rich/powerful, and I feel like I just got off a crazy wild roller coaster ride from hell! I felt everything Mason and Julia were going through down in my soul. I was captivated from start to finish! Mason and Julia are a steamy couple full of surprises, secrets and intensity. Not all of its surprises are pleasant ones, but there is a certain satisfaction in experiencing a thread that is so obstinately unexpected. Find out if Julia will discover what Mason’s secret is that he is withholding from her—you will be amazed!! You will not want to put this book down. Willow Winters put the hook in you at the beginning and doesn’t let go until the end. The storyline is fluid, and it will pique your interest. I HIGHLY recommend this book.
