Book 1: Journey to Forgiveness Book 2: The Bronc Rider's Twins Book 3: A Cowboy for the Summer
A self-professed crazy chicken lady, Danica Favorite loves the adventure of living a creative life. She loves to explore the depths of human nature and follow people on the journey to happily ever after. Though the journey is often bumpy, those bumps are what refine imperfect characters as they live the life God created them for. Oops, that just spoiled the ending of all of Danica’s stories. Then again, getting there is all the fun.
The book takes on the idea of grief, and what it means to lose the love of your life. How do you find a second love? How can the decisions make for one's children can lead to such happiness?
Danica takes all this on and this book won out with 4/5 stars. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because it felt like it should be a longer story. I know that Danica has a certain word count that she needs to maintain as part of the Love Inspire brand. I think that if this was longer it would be even more breathtaking than the other pieces that have been released by this brand.
To me, Danica takes characters that we all know and love from everyday life where she allows us to dream about how things would look like if they went the right way. She manages to build the story around God throughout the tale and for those who need that in your life when reading your novels, she will give you some ideas to think about. She explains how grief for a lost child can make you do some stupid things.
There is a thrill reading this book as you want to know what the secrets are and how she will overcome them. I highly recommend this book to all of you out there.
I loved and hated this book. It had a good plot and good characters. However, Inspirational romance or not, God does not need to be on every or every other page. That's just TOO MUCH!!! Way too much. I can usually overlook most of it, but it was in every page of this book and it turned me off, so I can't give it a higher rating. The quality of Harlequin has gone down so much, this is the first one I've read in over a year. And now they're celebrating Pride month. I am not going to read gay romances. So... goodbye Harlequin. Your quality has sunk pretty low while you're prices have gone up. You just aren't worth it anymore. (I got a subscription packet in the mail today from Harlequin, where they wanted me to sign up to get four random books a month, at the rate of $30/mo. Kindle Unlimited is cheaper at $10.99/mo and I have access to more books and usually, better quality.)
I like reading a Danica Favorite book. I know it will be a well written, heartwarming story with good characters. Laura Fisher is a rodeo widow with infant twin boys. She learns the hard way that her husband, Chase, had hid some important vices from her. Coming to her rescue, Chase’s best friend, bronc rider Wyatt Nelson, has promised to take care of Chase’s family. He is so sure that he caused his friend’s death. A sudden proposal of a marriage of convenience, topped only by a psycho mother-in- law, has one turning the pages to see what will happen next!
Cowboys, rodeos, babies and misunderstanding make for a fantastic story
I loved this book. Sometimes I got frustrated, sometimes angry, sometimes nervous, and most of the time just plain loving the characters. You can’t help but be pulling for the ‘bonehead’ to come to his senses. Awesome read!
Loved this book. This was Laura’s story, a new widow who has twin boys. Wyatt was best friends with her late husband and he feels he needs to take care of Laura and the boys- so they have a marriage of convenience. There are so many fun twists and turns, this book was hard to put down.
As always, Danica Favorite delivers a winner. Characters you relate to and others you get angry at make a very realistic story of guilt, faith, and forgiveness. Add twin babies, rodeos, family, and friendship and most readers will find it interesting.
I enjoyed this clean, second chance at love, romance. I bought this at a local store and I voluntarily chose to review this story. I've given this a 5* rating. It was a fairly fast pace and a surprising ending. Also, there are quite a few feels. The heroine has a lot more patience than I.
I loved Wyatt, and making sure Laura and the twins were safe. He felt so bad but it wasn't his fault. I loved it. Barbra is such a nasty grandma for calling the calls on her. Such a shame.

Great range of personalities in this one. I really enjoyed it, I only felt like there was more to explore in the main relationship than was explored in this book.
