The skill of "Making Roti" is far harder than it looks. Much like reading, actually! I really like this book.

As a "My World, Pull Ahead Reader," this title is the fictional one of the pair. While the nonfiction version is called, "We All Need Food."

Under his mother's watchful eye, Sundar makes the dough and then he rolls it out. Soon he and his mother eat this flatbread. Both of them enjoy it.

This simple book is so thorough, it even comes with an index.

FIVE STARS for reading-friendly titles like this one. Fiction or nonfiction, to me these books are really acts of compassion. Helping young readers to learn English, and also how to read in English.
