The almost last chapter of the book was good, it spoke about the author experiences with bad boys and good guys, but the whole thing I can not relate cause I'm not that Liberal to experience the similarity of her life and its kinda very promescious adventure she had.
I'm not a 12-stepper, but I could see this book seeming blasphemous to those who are. The author takes the familiar story of nice-girls-dating-bad-guys and applies it to a 12-step program, complete with a higher power, sponsor, and catch phrases. Some of what ensues is funny, some is stupid and contrived. But all in all reading about giving up bad boys and finding a nice boy to settle down with is sort of like drinking a nice cup of hot herbal tea--especially for a girl who has recently found her nice boy...
It wasn't bad, but I couldn't relate to the BBA (Bad Boy Addickt) as she was described in this book. I could definitely get behind the descriptions of the bad boy himself, and of the Nice Guy. So, though I definitely have been guilty of playing Captain Save-a-ho, I'm not the type to wrap my legs around any jerk that happens to look at me with those tortured eyes. Oh well. Take it or leave it.
WOW! At first I thought the book was a bit silly but not long after did I realize I was MEANT to read this book. Bad boys have always been a weakness of mine and this book screams in your face.."YOU DESERVE BETTER" It really is time to make some changes!
