While the authors showed examples of women from the Bible and women from the past years being influential and brave leaders, and dug into the meaning of original text to show that Paul was not teaching that women be silent in Churches for all time but was dealing with a problem with early Church Christians creating disorder, I felt that it was lacking in that it left me with the impression that a woman would be God’s second choice for public ministry, meaning that by and large God will call a woman if a man is not available and I think that thinking would make women think that God prefers men over women which does nothing for making a woman feel valued and equal but instead a second class citizen.
