Quite a fun radio show spin-off from Doctor Who, littered with easter eggs for long-term new-Who fans like me.

The three new characters are likeable and are good LGBT representation, and the story can get genuinely chilling with some high production values. Jodie Whitiker turns up as the Doctor, and there are other Doctor Who cast surprises as well. Alisdair Becket-King, a comedian mostly known for his excellent youtube skits makes a great appearance near the tail end of the series which is fun as well.

It's a shame that the cause of the threat is explained in some quick throw-away lines, and the plot meanders a bit, but most of it is some solid Doctor Who-based drama.

*This review's mainly for Series 2, which hasn't been added. But I liked Series 1.*

This second instalment of Redacted wasn't as good as the first, the storyline felt weaker, the new characters weren't as captivating, the drop in episode count was disappointing and whilst the drops into Who lore started off well it felt less connected by the end. I do wonder whether part of this decline was linked to previous producer Ella Watts being dropped for seemingly no good reason. However, the trio of Cleo, Abby and Shawna were great and it was nice to hear from Rani again.

This first season of a podcast set in the Doctor Who universe picks up fans and newcomers alike. It introduces us to great new characters that we are definitely willing to go on many more journeys with. For fans of the BBC cult show, there are many easter eggs and moments of nostalgia. New Whovians are nonetheless not thrown off by any lacking pre-knowledge but carefully invited to an extraordinary experience.

I found this purely by chance when researching books by Juno Dawson. I inhaled Series 1 in one sitting. It's so clever, I really loved the nods to previous episodes in the stories. The overall arc was good, i enjoyed the mystery. The resolution was a little quick and too easy, but none the less, the mixing of previous stories made it really enjoyable.

The cast were brilliant as well. I enjoyed the fact it featured cast members from the past.

A pure shot of beautifully inclusive, easter egg filled Doctor Who geek catnip. The voice cast are wonderful, every call back to the past of this wonderful show I adore made me smile and having just finished the last episode I just feel full of happiness!

And Jodie, even when it’s just your voice, I love 13, you are brilliant and I will miss you!

A thrilling 10 part audio adventure which peppers surprise cameos from past Dr. Who characters throughout. The nature of the story does mean these returnees disappear as quickly as they come.
Cleo is a great lead character although her two friends were forgettable (I can't even remember their names!).
Worth a listen on BBC Sounds before Jodie Whittaker departs later this month.

This was a 10-episode full-cast audio story through BBC. This great story centered on three nonbinary women, podcasters, and their harrowing adventure.

Loved the overt queer and trans representation in this. Great idea for a series too.
