Home Sweet Home Romance #5

Building What's Meant to Be

Rate this book
This isn’t a Cinderella story because, in the end, she got the prince. As for me? I’m experiencing the anti-Cinderella moment. My life is her story in reverse.

There I was, living in the lap of luxury with regular shopping sprees, swanky dinners, and VIP events. My friends called me Tinsley, the queen of Tinsel Town. Whether there, in Nashville, or in NYC I strutted along the golden paved streets. Now, I’m in Nowhereville aka Butterbury, Georgia. I don’t even have a pumpkin to turn into a carriage to make an escape.

How’d I get here? Oh, just a little social media snafu. It was nothing. Just your run of the mill case of public humiliation forcing me into hiding. Let’s not forget my ex lives here too, and he has his happily ever after. I’m not bitter. Not at all.

Meanwhile, the only available job is at the Sweetheart Bakery. It’s not all bad though because a cute guy comes in every once in a while. Aiden Fuller is also in the running to become mayor which could have its perks. I hear he heads up the annual parade. Dating him probably couldn’t hurt. Though I’m afraid he knows who I am and what I did.

Except there’s one catch. It turns out he’s the reason I lost my social standing. I could get my revenge, ruin him, and return to my old life or spill the truth about my secret and finally have real love.

Maybe I’ll turn around this riches to rags love story yet.

This was a cute and fun story. I was hooked from the opening scene and enjoyed everything about it—the characters, quirky small town, character arcs, the humor and banter, the touch of mystery.

Tinsley is rich, spoiled, and superficial. After being involved in a social media scandal, she becomes a pariah to her family and friends. Her glamorous life turns from a fairytale into a reverse Cinderella story…riches to rags. She hits rock bottom when she’s arrested for driving a car that was reported stolen.

Aiden is a federal agent working undercover, trying to wrap up a case involving Butterbury’s crooked mayor.

I really loved the character growth with Tinsley. As she realizes what a brat she’s been, she’s determined to change, and it was nice to see how lovable and caring she became. I felt a lot more empathy for her after learning about events in her childhood that shaped her.

I couldn’t help but adore Aiden—a man who looks at pictures of cats and kittens to help calm and center himself. And one who could see who Tinsley really was at her core.

This is the concluding book in the series and can be read as a standalone, but will be more enjoyable if you read the previous books first.

Many thanks to the author for a gifted copy. All opinions are my own.

Oh my gosh. SOOOO CUTE!!!!
I think this is my favorite of this series.

Tinsley has been high maintenance most of her life. Always looking for her big break. After some unfortunate events, ending up in Butterbury wasn't the plan. But it was exactly what she needed.

Aiden has been keeping a secret from his sister's for a very long time. But when his job brings him to their town, he is forced to enlist their help. He didn't expect to fall for anyone, let alone the girl who may or may not be in cahoots with the enemies.

This book was equal parts sweet and swoony with a dash of mystery.
Two people not only finding themselves but EACH OTHER. I absolutely adored this book! While I have loved them all, I think this was my favorite. From the moment Aiden met Tinsley, he was all in.

I'm so sad to see this series come to an end. But I cannot wait to see what Ellie brings us next 😍

Read if you love:
🏠Home improvement shows
🏠Closed door romances
🏠Romance with a dash of mystery
🏠Found family
🏠He falls first AND HARD

**This book is apart of a series. While each book follows different couples, it still follows a specific timeline. Highly recommend reading in order!

Thank you so much to the author for a gifted copy of the book. All the thoughts are my own.

This was such a fun end to the Home Sweet Home series! Tinsley is a rich, spoiled, social media star who crashes and burns after being involved in a scandal. Aiden is a federal agent who is trying to wrap up the case involving his hometown of Butterbury and the crooked Mayor Stoll. When an official meet-cute starts out in a jail cell, the story is sure to be interesting! 😂

Things I Loved:
-Narnia references
-Kitten time outs
-Cell mates
-Cat Napping
-Future Mrs. Mayor
-Murder Doll
-Toby
-Goga
-Aggie & The Anti-Stoll Society
-Bubba & his family
-Smoosh
-Svetllama
-Loki-like
-Brave
-Be Brave Honey
-The guest book

This was a sweet and swoony reverse Cinderella story with great character growth and lots of fun. You get a bit of mystery throughout this whole series and everything wraps ups nicely by the end of this book, including a clever and fun epilogue that includes the whole HSH crew. ♥️

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the first book of the series that I've read. You don't necessarily have to read the other books first but it will give you a better understanding of the characters & town. Fans of the series will certainly love this end to the series & new readers of it will want to read the rest of the books as well. It's a good & clean opposites attract dual pov romance.

Tinsley is a party girl socialite until she gets caught up in a scandal & becomes a pariah, including to her own family , though they already neglected her before. With no one to rely on & nowhere to go, she finds herself stuck in Butterbury doing community service after she was reported for stealing her parent's car. Like her, Aiden also finds himself back home & her partner in community service. Unknown to her, he's the federal agent that was a part of the investigation that led to her fall from grace. He knows who she is but can't let her know who he is because he wants to find out more information but also because he wants to protect her. As they get closer & he continues to work on the case, they both can't help but wonder if there could be something between them. However, Tinsley would have to leave her old life behind & Aiden would have to tell her truth about his identity & hope she understands.

Because of her family upbringing, Tinsley craves to be loved & to belong. She thrives on the attention & gets it in superficial ways that make her family shun her. Even if you know that it was her own actions that rightfully got her standing on rock bottom, you can't help but to feel bad for her & want to root for her. It's nice to see her transformation as she spends time in Butterbury finding things she's good at, real friends, & even love with Aiden.

Aiden's life as a federal agent has left him playing different characters to solve cases. He's tired of it & is looking forward to retiring. Though he does play up his charm a bit to Tinsley, nothing about his feelings for her are an act. He's there for her as a friend, encourages her, & envisions a life together. He also cares about his town & you can indeed picture him as the mayor of it.

The town is charming with fun characters you'll be sure to love. You'll be eager to see how Aiden solves the case & how Tinsley finds out about his identity. I do think the way the case was resolved felt a bit abrupt & I would've liked to see some meeting between Tinsley & her family rather than having some words about it in the epilogue but, overall, the story will keep you entertained.

Reader’s Notes:

– this is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone

(though if you’d like to get a better idea of the Tinsley that Aiden’s sisters remember, you’ll want to read The DIY Kissing Project first – Mae & Taylor’s story)

– this is told from Tinsley & Aiden’s points of view

Review:

I loved this conclusion to this series! It took me a little bit to like Tinsley (due to having read about what she did to Mae & Taylor in The DIY Kissing Project) but Aiden’s view of her won me over after a short time. He was so patient and much more concerned with the person she was right then rather than who she had been the last time she was in Butterbury. I loved that Aiden pretty much fell for her right away and took her innocence in normal things in stride. I loved that Tinsley became lovable to me even more so through these small moments of her finding her own way in what most people consider a normal life. I loved that she grew to learn new things and appreciate the simple things. Some of my favorite scenes/moments included: fixing up Bubba’s, getting Brave, a Svetllama sighting, seeing all the ladybosses, Rhondy taking Tinsley under her wing, the reason Aiden ended up in jail, and finally seeing Aiden’s house!

Summary:

Tinsley was shocked to discover that her friend lied to her about some things and that she’s now a pariah amongst her other friends due to the scandal one of the many lies caused. With her family and friends refusing to listen or let her in, she’s on the run with one of her parents’ many cars in hopes of finding somewhere she can lie low until everything blows over. Tinsley just never expected it to lead to her back to Butterbury where her ex is living happily ever after. And wouldn’t you know, she just happens to end up in jail next to her ex’s wife’s brother within minutes of entering the town…

Aiden is happily surprised when Tinsley shows up in Butterbury after a failed phone call didn’t get him the answers he was looking for. See Aiden was part of the team that caused Tinsley’s friend’s lies to burst into the scandal that it was, but something just wasn’t sitting right about that part of his much larger case. Aiden hoped that by hearing Tinsley’s account of what happened might spark a new lead and exonerate her in the process. He didn’t expect to fall for the woman behind the diva, but he does day after day during their mandatory community service fixing up Bubba’s. But if she knew what he did, Aiden wasn’t so sure she’d feel the same way for long…

Kisses only (or Smooshes only ‘cause that’s a word in this book). Ok, I loved the beginning. It was setting the FMC up for a great story of self discovery and we had the MMC whose real job is finally revealed. (I’d forgotten that Tinsley made and appearance in an earlier book). So great beginning but things went way downhill from there. There were so many story lines going on that nothing was really developed:

We have Tinsley’s path to learning how to adult and be a better person (she has an aha moment about how awful she’s been early on so her transition from awful to wonderful is instantaneous).

We have Tinsley’s family drama which would have made for a great reconciliation or a nice story of familial reconnecting but instead we get a paragraph in the epilogue. It felt more like pandering to the reader than an actual thing that would happen.

There’s Aidan working to connect the dots on the mayor case. Which he figures out mostly off screen then there’s an out-of-the-blue arrest scene and he is able to reveal everything to his friends. The whole thing both felt drawn out and rushed to me. He worked the case a lot then for some reason the bad guys are back in town? And he has the jurisdiction to arrest them solo?

We also have the Puma stuff which seems to be there just to add some drama. I don’t know how or why his people would think Tinsley would have any info.

Finally, there is the “love story” which has our MMC pretty much proposing during the meet cute. This was the most rushed of all. It felt like they never had any deep connection or conversation. They met, they worked together on a project (all done off screen), they kisses a bunch on screen then they got engaged. They’ve only known each other for a month!!!

I’m glad everything ended well for everyone but I wish there was more resolution rather than the lame wedding book paragraphs in the epilogue. Also, pretty sure most people wouldn’t include that kind of info in a guest registry book.

Romance level: kissing 🔥

What. A. Ride!

Let's start with saying I love Ellie's books.

Tinsley had so much growing up to do. My heart broke w/ how hurt, scared, alone & unloved she felt. She had "everything", but she didn't have what mattered.

Her maturing journey... Not judging, but all the descriptions of what she did in the past, specially to Mae & Taylor, were really not nice🫠. But forgiveness & redemption are such a key part of our stories.

"Someday we'll tell our kids that we met in jail"

Yep, you read that right. The meet cute & the second meet cute😅 were just so fun.

I love Aiden. He's so funny, strong. He presents himself as carefree & joyful, but can disarm you in less than 5 seconds 🐱.

I loved the banter. It was so cute how he made her feel special, listened to her & the way they confronted stuff together🥺. My heart grew w/ his support for her. They got the best out of each other.

The chemistry between these two was 🔥. The motorcycle scene🏍️! He knew what he was doing😂

I love how he didn't shy away from letting her know how attracted he was to her. But also, he respected her & helped herself realize her insecurities didn't have a foundation.

I loved their smoosh. The first kiss🔥. This man🔥 I love how protective, assertive & just swoony 😍 Aiden is. He's an all in type of man. I love how he communicated his feelings.

“What I mean to say is to think about the miracles that do happen. Love is one of them. It would be lucky to go through your life without getting struck by lightning. It would be a shame to go through your life and not open yourself to love.”

I loved how the main problem developed. Yes, there was a small miscommunication 🤏🏻 but, it cleared up so well. It helped the character growth. I loved their small connection & how they realized their love 💜

The friendships in this series are gold! 🏆 Each individual is amazing. Love all the couples😍. I loved how it was wrapped up.

I can't wait to see what's to come with Ellie's books😍

⚠️TW: neglecting family & friends.

A socialite, a FBI agent, a cat and people on the wrong side of the law. What a mix!
They first saw each other during a FBI raid and arrest. He was one of the officers and she was getting arrested. Not a promising beginning. Tinsley was from a rich family and only concerned about making it to the top in social media circles but she had a secret, she only wanted to be seen, accepted, and loved for who she was. In her rush to the top she hung around whoever she thought could help her including ‘Puma’, the name alone should have been a warning, which led to her being arrested. Even though she was released with no charges, now her family has had enough and want nothing to do with her including not allowing her in any of their homes. So she ‘borrows’ a family car and starts driving ending up in Butterbury and arrested, again for an expired license. However, this time the cell next to hers is occupied by a man, Aiden, who looks very similar to an agent that participated in the raid and her arrest. Aiden has been arrested for taking the mayor’s cat or cat-napping. They are both released with the understanding that he will look for the missing cat, she will get a new license, and that working together they will each perform thirty days of community service. And so begins the story where they recognize how their lives aren’t what they want; what they really want, and the changes each needs to make including dealing with secrets they are keeping. A fun, engaging read. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

📖 ARC REVIEW 📖

Thank you @elliehallauthor for an early copy of Building What’s Meant to Be. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. 🤍

Building What’s Meant to Be is a riches-to-rags, romantic comedy about Tinsley, a socialite/influencer who’s been accidentally involved in a scandal. With public humiliation forcing her into hiding, no family to turn to, and nowhere to run, she finds herself arrested and subject to 30 days of community service in Butterbury, Georgia. During her time working at the bakery and bbq, she spends a lot of time with Aiden, who’s aiming to become mayor of the town and has an undercover job. They fall in love real quick, but what happens when Tinsley realizes that Aiden isn’t who she thought he was?

The first few pages of Building What’s Meant to Be instantly hooked me. Tinsley’s meet-cute with Aiden in jail was hilarious. I know Aiden was undercover at that time, but his flirting with Tinsley and saying she’s going to be Mrs. Mayor one day made me swoon! I loved his character – he was sweet and protective of Tinsley despite knowing her only for such a short time. And them falling in love real fast was quite fun to see.

I loved the mystery that goes with this and how it concluded. No heavy drama, just lots of swoon-worthy scenes with some detective vibes.

Rating Building What’s Meant to Be ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5. Releases February 15th, 2023!

Building What’s Meant to Be is the fifth (sixth if you include the prequel novella) and final book in the Home Sweet Home Romance series. I would not suggest trying to read it as a stand alone. Most of the characters and some of the plot carry over from the other books in the series. This is a sweet, closed door romance. While there are plenty of kissing and swoony moments, there is nothing spicy.

Everyone has their secrets in this book. Tinsley is hiding out after a misunderstanding leaves her alone and stranded in the small town of Butterbury. Unbeknownst to her, her handsome new acquaintance, Aiden, is also an FBI agent working on the case she’s tangled up in. Forced proximity has these two falling for each other faster than they can even think about whether it’s a good idea or not.

I love that readers get to see not only the development of the MCs relationship but you also get a sense of the bond that’s been built among the people of the town. It really gives the book that heartwarming, small town feel. I was very interested to see how the mystery of the missing was going to play out and I was shocked and a little amused by the outcome. (Long live Cindy Clawford!)

Overall, Building What’s Meant to Be provides a great ending to a fun series. Everything is tied up nicely so there are no cliffhangers. While I will miss these characters and all of their restoration shenanigans, I'm excited to see what projects Ellie Hall has up next.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

After the latest in a series of scandals, screw-ups, and poor choices that her wealthy family believes have tarnished their upstanding reputation, aspiring actress Tinsley Humber's parents have decided to cut her off. "Borrowing" a car from their New York City condo, she starts driving south with no real plan or destination in mind. She thinks she's hit rock bottom when her credit card is declined, but it turns out there's still farther for her to fall; she's pulled over for speeding and ends up in jail for driving a stolen car on a license that has long since expired. As if that weren't bad enough, her travels have brought her back to the small town of Butterbury, Georgia, the scene of a past humiliation in which she threw herself at country music star Taylor Whitmer while he was busy declaring his love for another woman, now his (very pregnant) wife, Mae.

Undercover FBI agent Aiden Fuller is cooling his heels in the jail cell next to Tinsley's after getting caught in the act of kidnapping Twinky, the mayor of Butterbury's cat. It's all a part of his current case, which just so happens to be related to Tinsley's scandal in Los Angeles. Since the investigation brought him back to his adopted hometown of Butterbury, Aiden has realized that he's ready for a change. As soon as he wraps up the case and succeeds in removing the town's corrupt mayor from office, he plans to retire from the FBI and run for mayor himself. He just has to figure out how to get himself out of jail without blowing his cover first. Fortunately, the local sheriff offers him and Tinsley a deal: He'll let them go if they agree to perform 30 days of community service together.

I adored this funny, sweet, and heartwarming story! Aiden and Tinsley's banter was hilarious and while their relationship was definitely a slow burn, the payoff was worth it. They made a super cute couple and I was rooting for them the whole way. I'm always a fan of redemption stories, and Tinsley certainly redeemed herself as far as I'm concerned. Her past behavior made a lot of sense after I learned her backstory. There was a good heart (and a brain!) beneath the outer layers of glitz and glam, tantrums, and social climbing. She came a long way over the course of the story, as did Aiden, who finally told his friends and family the truth about his career and opened himself up to a serious relationship at the same time.

I highly recommend "Building What's Meant to Be" for all sweet contemporary romance and romantic comedy fans. I can't wait to find out what Ellie Hall writes next!

Anyone else ever dismiss an “annoying” side character that comes back later in a series as a MC? I did that with Tinsley here and am sad I didn’t give her a thought about becoming a redeemed character. She’s really a wonderful person who never understood that her worth and loveability doesn’t come from what she does. She lives in full, vivid color and, while it does get her into trouble, it also brings her right where she needs to be - with people who can love her for who she is. I adored the banter between her and Aiden. Those sparks and snark were just a-flyin’ and I was totally here for it. Plus, we finally get to hear Aiden’s back story too and it’s definitely a good one. I’m sad that this is the last in the Home Sweet Home series because I have really loved getting to know the Lady Bosses, their sweethearts and this adorable town of Butterbury. It’s these kind of stories that make me long to pack up and move to a welcoming small town and become their librarian/book guru, haha! Definitely get this lovely book and the entire series on your TBR. They’re technically stand-alone but I believe they are better read together.

I received this temporary ARC from the author via BookFunnel. I am not required by anyone to write a positive review and the opinions expressed herein are entirely my own.

This is a cute story and perfect read to escape into a small town with some quirky. Quirky what you ask? Quirky people, situations, murder doll, catnapping and so forth. And by catnapping, I don't mean taking a short nap. The cat is taken- catnapped. The story has a little intrigue and lotsa swoon. I feel like these two characters get two cute-meets, both of which are kinda fun but the reader only sees the second one. It was pretty funny.
Poor Tinsley was a neglected child and her family is pretty awful to her. In turn, she is kinda awful too so watching her growth through the book was fun. And the fact that she can see the flaws of her lifestyle so easily tells me that she is, at heart, a good person just trying to find a way to be happy. Unfortunately, she was looking in the wrong places until she lands in jail. Twice.
Aiden is a likeable hero who is good at his job and at keeping secrets. And a lone wolf. He is pretty flirtatious and a good person. He just wants to protect his loved ones.
I love the Ladybosses. It is a fun idea for a series.

No sex, language or violence
I received a complimentary ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Omg what a perfect end to the series! Aiden is a secret federal agent working undercover in his small town and Tinsley is a socialite who loves the money fame and attention. Then they both end up in matching Butterbury prison cells. This story was so fun with fantastic character growth for Tinsley (who we briefly meet in a previous book, and we weren’t really fans), when it turns out she just wants to be loved and acknowledged for who she really is (don’t we all). Aiden knows who Tinsley is from a previous investigation where she was questioned but she doesn’t remember him, he has to keep it a secret from her so he can try get more information but also so he can protect her. This was a fast pace, swoon romance that tied the perfect little bow on this ‘Home Sweet Home’ series. Thanks Ellie for an ARC copy!

I love this story so much and it makes me want to move to Butterbury myself, such a nice, sweet community. This story had me laughing and smiling throughout the entire story, and it is such a great ending to the series. I loved the crazy meeting between Aiden and Tinsley so creative. I enjoyed seeing how Ellie moved the story along with the previous characters in Butterbury, the “Lady Bosses”, their spouses and pets. I liked how Aiden so easily joked with her, he told her right off that she was going to be “Mrs Mayor” to him being the “Mayor”, and made her feel comfortable in a place she never thought she would be. I loved how Rhondy took her under her wing, Beatrice teaching her to take care of bees. And I really loved how Tinsley grew and found out that she really was a good person and worth of love and loving. Aiden and Tinsley are such a great couple and this is a wonderful story.

Tinsley is an attention seeker that's  aspiring to live a big life. Little does she know the rich and famoua lifestyle gets her caught up in 'Puma's', a big celeb, illegal limelight. She travels to get away and start new and winds up in the Butterbury holding cell.

Aiden, a businessman, undercover for the FBI, works one last case before he plans to retire and settle down in Butterbury with his family. He ends up in Butterbury's holding cell too, finding love at first sight with his cell mate next door.

Tinsley and Aiden both serve a 30 days of community service together at the local BBQ joint. Aiden provides protection for her while continuing to solve his case. Tinsley slows down and learns the big life isn't the best life.

Such a cute story! And the epilogue was such a cute way to end off the Home Sweet Home Series of books!

A funny sweet read . She was the It girl until she was found to the wrong place at the wrong time . Now her so called '' friends '' are nowhere to be found . Her family want nothing to do with her so she is all alone . While driving her parents car the police stops her because the car was stolen and her driving license was expired ,and she gets arrested . In the police station and the next cell there is a man who happens to be the Agent from the investigation . The police officer let them go but they have to work together for 30 days together . While working they fall for each other . What will happen when the truth comes up ? I loved that we see all the ladybosses and their men .

Such a wonderful book. This is the first book i have read in the series. Tinsley was a down her luck spoiled brat who had embarrassed her family one too many times. Her parents wouldn't take her calls, her brother would barely speak to her. Tinsley borrows her parents car (without their permission) and ends up arrested for car theft and in jail next to a cat kidnapper. Aiden claims he is innocent, he is hiding a secret from everyone in the town to protect them. The major of the town is missing and no one know where he is.
Tinsley and Aiden are assigned to community service at the local BBQ place and you need to read what is next.

Tinsley is embroiled in a scandal that has her fleeing to Butterbury, where she meets federal agent Aiden in a jail cell. While Aiden is in Butterbury involving a case against Mayor Stoll and finds Tinsley’s whole rich girl lifestyle ridiculous, the two start to bond over things like cat napping, Svetllama, and Narnia references. This is the last book in the Home Sweet Home series, and it does not disappoint. We even get to check-in with the couples from the previous books. A must read by a talented author.

Tinsley and Aiden

I’m glad that Tinsley figured some things out and decided to be a better person. I was a bit surprised at how focused and determined Aiden was after he decided what he wanted. And that it took him about a nanosecond to decide who he wanted. I liked that they worked diligently and that they all helped each other out. The clear delineation of good guys and bad guys was surprising and fantastic. This is an exciting adventure, mystery, romance. Whatever you do don’t skip the epilogue. It’s amazing.

Brilliant round up to the series. Tinsley's world is falling to pieces when she meets Aiden in jail, in a town where she has upset people previously who just happen to be Aiden's sister, husband and friends. Their romance blossoms as they do community service together but can Aiden keep his secret while trying to keep his family, town and his girl safe? Lots of drama, fun, and animals in this series finale.

Honestly, I waited a few days before starting this book. I just wasn’t ready for the villain to receive her love story, especially not with the coveted Aiden hero I’ve been waiting for. But, this really was a good read. Redemption, law enforcement, animals, small town shops, and the resolution of the mystery that has gone through this series. I’m looking forward to what this author comes up with next.

This is the last book in the series and what a story it is.

Aiden has returned to town with secrets and a mission. Tinsley finds herself at the wrong place with the wrong people, leaving her on the outs with her family.

When Aiden and Tinsley end up in the cell, their paths are about to take a fun and unique turn that pulls you into their story till the very end.

Building What’s Meant to Be

Tinsley was a spoiled socialite flitting from one “friend “ to another until she ended up crashing at the wrong persons house. The scandal sent her running. Somehow sh managed to end up in Butterbury. Aiden has a secret from the town and his family. When Tinsley shows up he plans to find out everything she knows about an investigation he is running. He never intended to fall for her. Will a relationship between them work?

cosy read loved the country side romance vibes it gave off. One of my complaints are that the ending seems a bit rushed- especially in regards to Aidens case like I am not too sure if missed something off while reading but some things just did not make sense. The evidence he supposedly had was not explained in detail nor was the arrest of the two brothers and the disappearance of that con artist w who I believe was called puma

A meet-cute from a jail cell? That was just one of the quirky escapades in Butterbury GA where Tinsley is stuck after her life implodes. Aiden is the guy with lots of secrets and a caring streak a mile long who teaches Tinsley to love! A sweet, swoony read with plenty of smooshes!.

I didn’t like Tinsley who seemed like a spoiled rich brat at first. But she’s forced to grow up and take responsibilities for her actions in this book through community service with Aiden, her first job, and learning new skills. Aiden was always kind of mysterious in the books and his secret job is revealed and hopefully the bad guys finally get what’s come to them.
