Large format, big pictures, big letters, short sentences = big appeal for beginning readers. Information is brief but accurate. This is a good series for reading aloud with Kindergarten classes. My only complaint with this title is that the ending seemed abrupt.

This book is a good book to use for nonfiction reading. It has many features to look for and informational pictures. The text is simple and would work well with 1st or 2nd grade.
