Christmas Miracles at the Little Log Cabin

Rate this book
Perfect for fans of Sarah Morgan, Jessica Redland and Kate Forster. Do you believe in Christmas miracles? Holly is looking for a change. There has to be more to life than the long hours she works as an editor in New York City, despite what everyone says. What she doesn’t expect when she leaves the city behind is to meet Mitch, a recluse who’s hiding more than she realises. Mitch spends his days hidden away in a little log cabin in Inglenook Falls, where he owns a Christmas tree farm. He speaks to people only when necessary, so when Holly falls into his life, he’s not sure how to react. All he knows is that something needs to change if he wants to get his life back on track. Along with friends Cleo and Darcy, Holly is determined to bring joy back to Mitch’s life, but will he appreciate their interference? And when a business proposition throws everything up in the air, will it do more harm than good? Curl up this festive season in a snow-covered log cabin surrounded by Christmas trees and find out whether miracles and second chances really do happen. *Please note this is a re-release of Christmas Miracles at the Little Log Cabin , previously published by Helen J Rolfe*

Helen Rolfe also writes as Helen J. Rolfe

Helen Rolfe writes contemporary women's fiction and enjoys weaving stories about family, friendship, secrets, and relationships. Characters often face challenges and must fight to overcome them, but above all, Helen's stories always have a happy ending.

Location is a big part of the adventure in Helen's books and she enjoys setting stories in different cities and countries around the world. So far, locations have included Melbourne, Sydney, New York, Connecticut, Bath and the Cotswolds. She also loves creating village settings or places with a small-town feel and a big sense of community.

Born and raised in the UK, Helen graduated from University with a business degree and began working in I.T. This job took her over to Australia where she eventually turned her attentions back to the career she'd dreamt of when she was fourteen. She studied writing and journalism and wrote articles for women's health and fitness magazines. Helen began writing fiction in 2011 and hasn't missed the I.T. world one little bit... in fact she may just have found her dream job!

Definitely a feel good story. Just what would be expected from a Christmas story. For me, a plus that it takes place in my native NYC.

The only thing that threw me a bit was the phrases that made it obvious that the author was not from NY, or even the US.

Lovely story

What can I say so many twists and turns. I couldn't keep up at one point it was going fast passed. I couldn't work out what was going to happen I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book and would highly recommend it , and all the others in the series.
