This is such a good photography book. The best thing for me is that he ‘shows his work’ - each portrait has a description of how he made it. It’s very enlightening, because some of the portraits look so casual, yet he talks about how the background, props, light etc were achieved. Inspiring .

Great introductory portrait photography book. Not too detailed, but enough to get you started.
