My complaints here are the same as they were in the first book. It just desperately needs to be edited. There was a scene where it was described as being just before sundown and the stars would be out…like two pages later there was a reference to the morning sunrise glinting off of something, but time hadn’t passed so it was just an error in writing. The story is intriguing but there’s no development between the characters so it’s hard to believe in their relationships.

All of that aside I’m still going to read the last book because I want to know how it ends 😂

This book continues on from the last book where Audrey overheard Zane talking about her. From this we see the story unravel with some crazy twists and turns. To also find out the truth about Donovan's feelings for Audrey. To then come to an explosive crashing ending that will leave you shocked and needing more. Totally wicked read

I couldn't start this book fast enough. Book one left me on acliffhanger. I was dying to continue the story. The low down is Audrey is at a school for vampires by mistake, or so she thought. The school is using her as a way for vampires to learn to get along with humans. As if that's not stressful enough she is being hunted she feels and then she puts trust in someone who turns out to betray her. She originally wanted to go to an acting school. Well in this book her acting abilities are being put to the test. She has to play the game right. She can't let Zane know she knows his true intentions while she figures out what to do. Also she is dealing for new feelings for someone who she thought wasn't on her side at first. Talk about action and suspense. And what happened shocked me fully! I won't spoil the story but just know it's a wild ride. I can't suggest it enough to young adult supernatural academy fans. Heck anyone that loves a great story with an awesome twist. And it's not over! I can't wait to continue on to book three.

Loved this book, continues on from book one nicely. Fantastic main character, best friend and antagonists of which we find out about them more in this book. The story is great, very mysterious and suspenseful with betrayal, nefarious evil activity and revenge. However, most plans do not go the way you intend upon contact with the enemy and that is exactly what happens, with plenty of twists and turns and a bit of romance as this story unfolds. I really like the writing style of Michelle Areaux and will definitely be reading more books, cannot wait to see what comes next.

**** I’m volunteering to review this arc ****

Loved it! We leave off were Audrey over hears that Zane and a couple other students and a professor talking about how they trick and drink from the humans. She must pretend that she is still in love with Zane. Audrey and Donovan tell how they feel for each other. Audrey, Eden, and Donovan how to find away to stop Zane and them. Will Audrey and Donovan get together? Will they catch Zane and them? Will they stop them? Will Audrey survive?

I look forward to reading the next book in this series called Renewed.

Audrey has discovered the truth about Zane, she’s enlisted the help of her friends Donovan and Eden to get proof. The day after they get their proof of Zane’s misdeeds, while Donovan is talking with the Dean Zane kidnaps Audrey to feed from her. It ends with a cliffhanger where Audrey’s life will no longer be the same. I enjoyed this quick read. It has a lot of mystery and a budding new romance in the making.

After learning the truth about Zane and his nefarious deeds, audrey feels betrayed. This is just as good as the first in this series. The characters all have their own agenda which makes it interesting. The story is really starting to reveal more secrets and betrayal. This is a great series. I really like it.

I liked the suspenseful nature of this story. I thought the author created a world full of imaginative characters whose actions kept my interest throughout the entire story. I hated that it ended in another cliffhanger yet I relished that same fact because I love where this story is headed. I can’t wait to see where the author is going to take me. Great story.

This book needs some serious editing. There are so many issues with typos and not staying consistent with the scene that they started. There needs to be more character development and better relationship building. I only read it because it was short and I’m trying to reach my end of year goal

A good additional to the first book. It was a quick read and I feel that with it being so small it flowed very well. Again I enjoyed the development of the characters and would also really enjoy if this was a longer book so more could be added
