Windfall
Win MacAllister has a problem. His maiden aunt has decided that he needs to leave his
life in Mac’s Crossing, Colorado and move to Boston to run the family law firm. Win
wants to stay where he’s at, but knows that it will be hard to fight his strong-willed aunt.
But Win’s brother, Ben, finds a windfall for an actress who has been left behind by
her acting troupe and owes a great deal of money to the hotel. Win offers to pay the bill,
if she acts as his wife while his aunt is in town.
Vanessa Trump doesn’t like the thought of being Win’s “wife,” but what choice does she
have. It won’t be for long, and then he’ll pay her bill. She makes sure he knows that there
won’t be any sex involved in their arrangement. She just didn’t know that she needed to
specify that there would be no spankings, either.

THIS IS NOT A NEW RELEASE---Let me start by saying, this book was previously released by the publisher under the title HEART AND HOME, October 31, 2018. The story, Windfall was the first in that six novella collection which included these six stories: WINDFALL, NEW BEGINNINGS, RUBY'S DELIGHT, SARAH'S DILEMMA, SILVER STAR SPANKINGS, and THE SECRET. The review is from where I previously read and reviewed Heart and Home.
Windfall
Winthrop Jacob MacAllister, II or better known to everyone as Win, gets word that Aunt Matilda is on her way, and she expects him to give up his life in Mac’s Crossing and move to Boston; he and brother Ben think that if he has a woman act as his wife, that will save him.
Actress Vanessa Nicholas is left behind by the troupe she is with, which includes an unpaid hotel bill. Is this the perfect opportunity for Win? An actress to play the part of his wife and convince Aunt Matty he must stay in Colorado?
The story has many laughing-out-loud moments between Win and Vanessa as she is to learn her part as his wife. Fooling Aunt Matty may not be as easy as they thoughts. What happens when Win and Vanessa start to develop feelings for one another? There is trouble brewing with jealousy, revenge, and deceit, and it will become a rescue to save these two from harm. The story has several spanking scenes, and the sex is not detailed.

Loved this book
I loved reading it so much I bought the series. Love Melindas books. They are so easy to read but highly addictive and once you start reading a story you can't stop even if it's late at night.
