What started off as friendship and a study buddy, ended with too many secrets and broken hearts.
When a handsome blonde boy with dimples to die for moved to town, Sammy knew right away she was in trouble. But secrets about Jared's home life and a promise to a friend begin making Sammy feel like a dirty little secret.

I fell even more in love with Sammy and Jared in this story and I now have a new appreciation for them in the series. Sammy and Molly are the best friends anyone could ever have. Jared came from the bottom and didn’t let that stop him from getting the woman of his dreams.
I’m not new to this series. When that scene happened I cried so hard. If you know then you know. I was devastated, distraught, and broken. Reading Sammy and Jared’s love story only makes me cry harder and I’m looking forward to what happens next.
5 phenomenal fucking stars as usual for a Carla R. book and I got to see the behind the scenes of some of my favorite characters. What more could I want?

*****5 Love Stars*****
I’ve been waiting for Sam and Jared’s story since book Badass and then in Jackass I’ve been on pins and needles for this. But I need the rest because they way Jackass ended this can’t be the end of it. Jared back story is heart breaking; he’s had it ruff since his mother walked out on him and his father. Jared’s father went on a down word spiral and Jared could do nothing but survive. Sam has found love but Jared keeping secrets; but how long can Sam let him keep them. I’m leaving so much out this is a MUST READ! I hope the next book is what I think it is because I really want it. Be prepared to laugh, cry and the anger you will feel while reading this because an array of emotions will be played reading this.

This book was so much fun to read and gave a lot of insight into my favorite characters. It’s so fun to read why an inside joke exists or how someone sees the love of their life. I absolutely recommend this book and honestly every single book by this author. Be ready to laugh hysterically and cry with sadness and joy for all of these amazing crew of friends.

This is my first book from Carla R. And what a sweet, coming of age story that makes me want to find out more of their stories! Reading this book brought me back to a time where parties and dates and homework were the most important things in life and the boy you liked hung the moon… reading this left me smiling.

What I Liked About This Book:
This is the first book I have read by this author. I am blown away by Carla’s ability to tell this story. I was hooked from the first chapter. Carla’s ability to capture her readers attention and connect with them is brilliant.
Sammy and Jared meet when he moves to town and they attend the same high school.
Throughout “Ass Over Tea Kettle”, we see Sammy and Jared working through internal conflicts of their teenage years, family conflict, young love and trying to figure out what they want to do in the future after graduation.
I throughly enjoyed this book. I found the storyline and characters to be very relatable. I honestly can see the events from this series occurring in real life. The realness and depth made me want to keep reading! I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series!
Why You Should Read This Book
If you enjoy contemporary romance, with a strong female lead character and you are open to reading a book with young adult characters, then I highly recommend you read “Ass Over Tea Kettle”. If you are new to Carla’s writing, I suggest you begin with this book.

An adorable story that did not disappoint!!
I always enjoy reading Carla's stories, not just because they're funny and sassy, but they have plenty of twists, turns, and the sweetest romances! (Don't worry, that steam is still there!;p)
This story is as sweet and heartwarming as it is frustrating and witty. It's relatable in so many ways for me and I loved every second of it!
Since this book was written after the first three, I was eager to learn the origins of the dream couple that is Sammy and Jared. I did not expect Jared's poor family life and struggles, but for so many, such struggles are completely common and it's so great to see that he found not only one family, but two or three to be a part of. A beautiful happily ever after, at least for now...

Jared & Sammy - Went from "a bit slow and young" to "WOW!"
A truly surprising YA into adult romance. Sammy and Jared meet in high school, with friends Molly and Kane. Sammy and Molly are BFFs. Kane and Jared begin a close friendship, and eventually Jared comes to live with Kane's family. Sammy and Jared are drawn to one another, but early on Kane gets Jared to promise to not go after Sammy... and herein lies the angst and heartache. Jared is keeping secrets - some out of embarassment and shame, and others because he doesn't know how to share them, or because he fears the consequences of revealing his life to his friends.
I began reading this story to kill time, and found the early part of somewhat repetitive and slow [to my liking]... and I've not had a lot of YA stories that gripped me, so my expectations were kind of low. The writing pulled me in as the story finally left HS, but that's also where some major plot shifts occur. Jared is a sweetheart. He's a good man in training, having to learn as he goes. Sammy is kind and forgiving but smart enough to not settle for anything unworthy of a good life. My heart broke so many times for the real issues each of the characters must face. And then it soared as they rose to meet challenges well.
This is a wonderful book... and the first I've read from Carla R, but not the last. Now that I have a sense of her storytelling, I imagine I will read all of her Bombshell books

what a ride!
The title had me super excited to dive into it and the story didn’t disappoint one bit! This story took me on an emotional angst filled ride that I loved every second of!! I kept rooting for our Ken and Barbie, even though at times I was frustrated with Jarad, I understood why he made the choices he did. The ending was a perfect after the emotional
ride and it left me with such a good feeling.

Cute fun read!
I enjoyed the book overall and the plot was so cute! A fun read and the character developments were great, giving more value to the story line.
