I was weak , but now I am strong. I was mistreated and it is time they have a taste of their own poisons. They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. That’s exactly where they sent me— to hell. But I came back being a devil myself. It’s not about revenge— it’s about getting my kings to seek redemption. The pieces they have broken may not have rearranged themselves exactly as they wanted, creating something far more dangerous than they’ve ever planned for — a queen seeking for her Kings of Seduction!
I’ve decided to play their games, because in reality that is where their games end, and mine begins. The only question that remains are there going to be any real winners this time?

"It was a hell of a merry-go-round I had jumped myself into, but Cole’s adrenaline rush, Ferris’s pain mixed with beautiful darkness, and Brax’s unmatched emotions would never let me return to a normal life."
In book 2, Bea almost dies at the hands of the Governor. The guys are listening in, and were able to intervene, save her and kill him. Book 3 opens with Bea being in the hospital, and again... she annoyed me with the way she treated the guys. She connected with Cole, which I loved seeing more of Cole and her relationship. But the way she treated Brax and Ferris, she was acting like a brat. I understand that she had issues with the guys, but basically she had issues with all of the guys and seemed to forgive Cole a little easier. All of them were by her side, not sleeping, and yet she treated them, especially Brax like dirt when he saved her. And then Ferris moved the kids and Bea into his hospital so that she had help when she came home. Which was cute seeing how Cole took to parenting a little, especially with taking away Natalie's cell phone as a punishment. After Cole broke the deal, he took her on a first date - so they could begin to make real steps towards their relationship. And she even got Brax to make a choice, and he took her on a date as well. I loved seeing his growth, again I really love the MMCs even if they are crazy. But my heart is seriously broken, I can't believe Bea's POS Dad shot Cole, after mistakingly having Jenna shot and killed her thinking it was Bea. Cole better make it, because I'm not ready... Bea seems to be getting it together now.
"I felt betrayed by my kings for so long that I used to think I could never recover. But they weren’t betraying me. They were only betraying their own souls. All masks had fallen. It was time for a new destiny to take its course. They were fucking gods. And they just made me their goddess"

Just when you have everything you ever wanted Fate pulls the rug and it all comes crashing down! Thankfully that’s not a hard and fast rule in real life.
I definitely expected something to happen and knew who was responsible but I genuinely didn’t expect the thing at the cliffhanger.
So, being slightly less cryptic… Bea survived the events that happened at the governor’s mansion, physically at least. The emotional trauma that arose from that night was another matter entirely. Her little brother had his transplant so naturally Bea was overwhelmed with guilt because she couldn’t be there for him. Her road to recovery is difficult and she’s stuck in a limbo with her Kings. Each relationship is fractured, can’t they be salvaged?
So far of the books in the series I’d say this one is the best. It has an excellent balance between drama, angst, overarching plot and of course the inevitable spicy scenes. This is book 3 of 5 and the books do need to be read in order for things to make sense. Book 4 is apparently everything to date from Bea’s Mens’ perspective. Some might argue that it’s unnecessary and perhaps it is in a sense but I say that only because their perspective wasn’t included in the earlier books.
It might be worth pointing out to editors and publishers that books can be as popular as others in the same genre even if they do go over 350 pages… If you’re reading a five or six book series it’s a safe bet that the readers are going to be happy with more to read.
Again, very repetitive and then you finally get a little development and then I feel like our female main character is still not where she needs to be but expecting out of other people which I didn’t love. But again nothing was wrong with this book. It wasn’t gross. The spice I think could have been more. I felt like just more could’ve been happening in my opinion not just with the spice wood in general and maybe it was the style in which it was done, but there were moments I enjoyed, which is why I gave it a three! & the ending made me want to read on, but the fourth book is not following the storyline it is from the point of view of the other guys and it is their stories so I did not read that And I went to start the last book in the continuation of the storyline and that is actually from different points of view which I was excited about, but I just can’t get into the writing style of it so I think I’m gonna take a break and go back to it, but I just felt like I was skimming and skimming more throughout the entirety of this book in particular, which makes me Obviously sad because I really enjoyed the idea of the storyline
this book was good. they still annoyed the shit out of me when they were being dicks to each other tho haha. Jenna dying and Cole killed me. Bea’s dad can rot in hell. I’m glad Bea was okay. Again tho, they all just need to stop playing games and freaking fall on love. Seeing Brac and Cole take her on dated and be just genuinely sweet is the cutest most perfect thing ever tho. Ferris I’m still iffy on.

I really like the concept of this series, but really think that the author would benefit from an editor. I thought book 3 was the end of the story, however, I was wrong and I don’t think the next will be out any time soon. I hate cliffhangers. My fragile heart can’t take them. If you can look past the issues I highly recommend this series.
Kings of Seduction is book three in the series The Pleasure Room by author M.O. Absinthe. This one is fire - she’s playing her way know and taking the power back. And lo and behold they give it to her each one of them. Just as the pieces fall into place tragedy rears its head. A King….. Enjoy!!
I’m if I’m being so honest I forgot to rate this after I finished it and I have like no memory of this book. I looked back at the start of the next one and remembered the crazy cliffhanger this one left off on so hoping my rating was right. Plot line is kinda funky but character growth and twist at end good
I ate up these books within 5 days like all of them gobbled. Im addicted to all characters my favourite had to be Cole just got a soft spot for him. I love the others too but hes my favourite , the spice is always spicing and I love everything . she can be abit silly sometimes and your like just get on it but its funny in the end
We got so see so many different sides to the characters and even insights into our female lead… the ending is by far the most gut wrenching part of this. So worth the read.
