In the early sixties when I was in junior high school, my Aunt Joan and Uncle Hal gave me the "Treasury" for Christmas. I was flattered and honored that they might consider that I am an incipient philosopher.

I devoured the book.

I determined I was one of the Cynics. I have no idea how many other 13 year old Cynics were living in Wichita, Kansas.
