A dark, spicy 'why choose" romance reminiscent of 'Pirates of the Caribbean,' with a dash of 'Treasure Island' and a hint of 'Peter Pan.' A desperate crew of pirates kidnap the witch who is the key to their freedom from a terrible curse. But she's more difficult to handle than they expect, in so many ways... For Quressa, being captured by six handsome men is the opportunity to indulge certain needs and fantasies she's always had. She's not sure if she wants to go back to the king who owns her... but she may not get to choose her fate. (adult polyamorous romance with involvement between the male partners as well as the female main character, MMM+F)

“A woman empowered is a beautiful thing. One to be worshipped, not feared”
This follows Quressa and she is a witch that has the power to break the pirate's curse! Just have fun with this, it was such a good time. It had some plot that was enough to keep me engaged but the spice and the characters were fantastic. The FMC is such a strong character and really stands up for herself and knows what she wants. The 6 MMC’s Captain Varrow, Iro, Gabel, Kylar, Theo and Jim each have a potential past or have been burnt they don’t want this witch to ruin their connection with one another. As it’s an MMM+F romance we get fantastic spice scenes that are delicious I devoured this book every time I picked it up.
The only few things that didn’t make it a 5-star for me is that the word Gods was used so many times it frustrated me. Also, the way she gains power makes me laugh but also makes me jealous it’s conflicting. But other than this highly recommend it if you want a spicy good time!

I love it when an author sells you a book as more than just sex. I think the author of this book wanted to just write a sex story where everyone sleeps with everyone, has sex like rabbits all the time and that's it, but she decided to give us a poor and undeveloped plot to try to justify all that sex. It was simpler to make the main character as someone who simply enjoys her sexuality and her body instead of giving us all this unbelievable explanation that her magic needs her to be aroused and wanting to have sex all the time because that way she can "recharge" when she uses up some of her energy doing magic. It makes no sense, no logic, but oh well, it's a standalone, quick read and basically written porn, so there's not much of a problem, the last thing these authors care about in these types of books is giving us some plot.
That on one hand, on the other hand, something else I didn't like was the development of the romance between Q (I'm going to write his initial because I don't know how to spell his name) and the 6 pirates. Yes yes, in the warning it said it was going to be a poly story with everyone romantically involved with everyone and not just the main character, and that doesn't bother me, I don't mind more relationships in the harem other than the one with the main character, but usually when you add someone female in a purely male relationship, everyone ends up falling in love with her equally having the same feelings for the main character as for the others and the relationship is just as important with her as it is with the others. I didn't feel that way here. The pirates deceive her all the time without any remorse about her end with them, they make her delude herself that she can stay with them by getting rid of the curse, and until the middle she finds out that they plan to kill her, and that because the witch had to tell her, otherwise they would have kept her in the dark for much longer. We were already in the middle of the book, for God's sake and no one had the balls to tell her anything, besides everyone only thought about sleeping with her, no one thought romantically, only about sex, all the pirates said they were not going to sacrifice their men for her, that is not love. In the end she sacrifices herself and instead of the author making them suffer for her death, she kills one of the pirates supposedly because he preferred her over them and yet the pirates cared more about Iro dead, than her coming back to life. Better he would have killed her at the end of the book and that's it, no one really loved her, they only loved each other among the 6, unlike her who did have feelings for her. Here you can tell that the author only wanted a fantasy of meaningless sex of men with men and a woman than in giving development to the relationship, the characters and the plot.
It's a bad book, similar to the ones on Wattpad, and while I did enjoy some scenes, that doesn't change the fact that it's not a good book. I'm sorry, but it's true.
Also, don´t get me wrong, davon gibt´s hier natürlich mehr als genug.
Even better than the first one (the M/M was way more prevalent and exciting), wasn't here for the plot but it wasn't too bad. Jessamine Rue should definitely do more than three of these; I am officially a fan. Unfortunately, I have to wait a couple more weeks for the third one (which is Robin Hood).
Not a lot of world building, but a really enjoyable pirate and witch story. Not the most plot heavy, but I loved getting to know the pirates. Spice HEAVY
I came for the smut here’s how it went : Spice level def 🌶️4 out of 5🌶️ there’s plenty of smuttery in every other chapter and page, good gods. Don’t get me wrong I’m here for solely smut, the more the merrier, I just would’ve liked more attention to their witch (some pillow princess action) I wanted more scenes about her w/ the crew vs the crew w/o her. The story was full of great pirate plot, for once I had no idea how it would end so it left me very pleased with the ending, but even then I felt some chapters or sentences were very rushed…
Hot and steamy Pirates of the Caribbean retelling. This book had a good plot for having such high amounts of spice. It was almost at least once a chapter that something or someone was going down.
There was lots of love between the crew in this book. But starting at a full crew, and then over the years, going down to just 6 members, you probably get pretty close quickly.
All though this book had a lot of spice in it, I did enjoy the plot points, and I was worried about both Quressa and the rest of the crew at times. But no need to worry, without spoiling anything, they do get a HEA!
What a load of filth. In a good way obviously. There were some almost cringe moments? Jim kinda scared me and his spicy scenes were written like a first draft Wattpad fic (in a bad way). The plot was surprisingly good for how spice forward this was.
Yup we are giving this book 2 stars. Oh wait a minute those aren’t stars. The husband picked out this book for me to read and that pretty much sums up this review. It actually did have some plot and the fact I read the whole thing to learn that means I probably need therapy.
Was it 90% smut and 10% plot? Yes. Did I still love it? Yes.
This whole book was just filthy, filthy , and I loved every second of it. Call me depraved, I don't care, it was just that good. I think it's pretty obvious that when you go into this book, what to and what not to expect, so you can't complain when the plot isn't sustainable for you.
But I did love the connection all of the characters built because it wasn't just based off of sex, seeing as that might've been hard to achieve in a book like this. But it was still done so well. The FMC is surprisingly a strong character given all the other presences in the book. The enemies to loverSSSSSS aspect was well done. I think the only OW drama was when one of the characters was holding onto his vow he made to his dead wife, but that gets dissolved easily later on.
I had to take out 1 star because I just really really hated this one particular character.
