A deep story about trying to rely on yourself and your plans instead of the Lord, with an intriguing mystery woven throughout. I enjoyed this book just as much as the first two in this series and look forward to reading anymore released by this author.

Don’t Let Me Go is a high school love story building up to marriage, but for Jenny and Adam, the true test starts after marriage. Jenny pushes Adam away for a reason unknown. Before she answers any questions, she gets kidnapped, and the chase starts. With Adam striving to find his love, a love who doesn’t want to be his wife anymore, this story will make you believe in real companionship.

Don't Let Me Go by Jodi Artzberger is a romantic thriller that will keep you on your toes from the first page. The story starts with suspense and subtly weaves in romance while the plot maintains the thrill. The characters are relatable and interesting. Some parts will make you question the goodness of the characters. There is a clear distinction between good and evil, which supports the conventional story writing aspect but might lack the depth of characterization for some readers.

The author has taken her strong Christian values and infused her novel with a gospel-centered storyline. Faith plays a strong part in character development, as well as plot development. Readers that prefer a more Christian view on romance will find Jodie Artzberger has created relationships that center around God and model the values of the Christian faith.

As the story progresses, you can see faith building up. It aptly symbolizes how marital troubles are resolved in times of crisis. It also conveys that protecting our loved ones is done better by companionship. The book explores the themes of love, forgiveness, and faith. Many subplots run parallel to the main plot without interrupting its flow which adds depth to the narration.

Don't Let Me Go is a suspenseful Christian mystery with a romantic story intertwined. The author is successful in building up tension and skillfully easing it out in the end. This was a great mystery, as well as a lesson on learning to forgive and trust the people you care about.

Don’t Let Me Go by Jodi Artzberger is as thrilling, if not even more thrilling than her previous book, Don’t Give Up on Me. It grabbed me right from the start and never let go. I was already curious about Jenny and Adam and what was going on with them. Now I know. This book can stand alone, but having read the first book made it so much deeper.

Jenny and Adam are totally in love with each other, but for some reason she wants a divorce. And she’s not telling anyone why. And I’m not going to tell you. You’ll just have to read it for yourself. Thank me later.

Adam is so hurt and confused. Plus, the situation has made him more volatile than usual. He refuses to sign the divorce papers until she tells him why she wants a divorce. He is still Ryker’s partner, but he’s fraying around the edges. And people are starting to worry about him.

I can’t tell you much about Jenny’s brother Rick because that would spoil the story. Suffice it to say, he appears to be a complete tool. He seems to have no concept of how his actions affect the lives of others. The way all the subplots come together is just another indicator of the author’s skill.

Throughout the book, Jenny and Adam mature and their faith deepens. I was thoroughly engrossed with that process. This transformation is something Jodi Artzberger does extremely well. That she includes the whole Gospel within her narrative, without being gratuitous, is amazing.

I would recommend this book to all readers of romantic suspense. Or even just plain old suspense. I was given a copy of this book by the author. There were no conditions, but I wanted to write a review in hopes that this review would encourage others to read the book.

Jenny is married to her high school sweetheart. She has asked for a divorce because she has gotten some devastating news that she feels will be a burden to him. She loves him too much to bring him down. Adam does not understand why Jenny wants a divorce, and she has closed him out. This description sounds like a typical love story. However, do not be fooled by the description because this book is non-stop action from the beginning chapter when someone is kidnapped. The chase is on from that point forward as the police investigate exactly what is going on. Jenny's brother is at the center of this chaos, and Adam feels that he has put Jenny at risk. He just does not know how all of the pieces fit together. This was an excellent mystery and an even better story of forgiveness and learning to trust those you love. The characters are "real" to you as the reader as they face every day struggles just like everyone else does. Jenny cares more about others than she does herself. It is a faith filled romance with a wonderful inspirational message of leaning on your faith in crisis. This was a very enjoyable book that I literally read in a few hours. If you like a good, clean romantic suspense mystery, you will enjoy this book. I will definitely be checking out some other books by this author. Thank you to StoryOrigin for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

These Otter Bay books are so good! No spoilers here. I classify this as a mystery or suspense rather than Christian Suspense. Do the characters discuss God? Yes. Is that what the story consists of? No. This book is about people who are scared when faced with life's circumstances, who are trying to do the right thing then messing up, who are wondering if God cares about them, who are grieving, who are angry, who are lost, who are struggling with their life choices, who keep messing up even more, who are afraid of starting over, who are truly trying to be the kind of human that does the 'right thing', who aren't sure who they can trust, and who are open to learning more about God and prayer. Add in a whole bunch of suspense, a handful of bad guys, so much mystery, and don't forget the romance! It's a realistic story about the stuff we all deal with, and maybe some we don't want to deal with! Hopefully you haven't been through what any of these characters must go through. But it's easy to identify with at least one of them.

My goodness! This book is action packed from the first scene. The suspense holds until the very end. The characters are relatable (read frustrating!) and evolve throughout the book. There are layers of subplots to hold the reader’s attention. I especially enjoyed how each of the main characters came to a deeper faith and trust in Christ. If you missed previous books in this series or it’s been a while since you read them, there will be a few points of backstories that might not be as rich. Still, a great read that I highly recommend for readers of inspirational romantic suspense.

An amazing faith centered, romantic suspense read that will have you on the edge of your seat. This was a well written, entertaining story that checked all the boxes for me. Amazing, realistic characters, clean romance, a faith element, family and a great mystery. Loved the heartwarming journey of love and forgiveness part of the book too. An awesome story that was hard to put down. You don't want to miss it!.

Wow! This book has it all! I laughed, I cried, and I cheered! There was suspense in just about every chapter that had me gripping my Kindle! And the romance is so sweet! I really love Jenny and Adam! Plus I really enjoyed seeing Amanda and Ryker again, too.

It was really nice reading a truly Christian centered book, too! What a really fun 2nd book in the series!

knowing when to accept help

Wow! I couldn’t put this book down!!! So Jenny and Adam both learned powerful lessons. We can get so caught up in protecting loved ones from our problems that we shut them out. It is when we choose to accept help from God Ann from that special person that we can finally start to heal. If you like a good suspense, read this book!!!

Don't Let Me Go is an action packed story that keeps you engaged. Adam and Jenny deal with a criminal element along with marital troubles. The strong spiritual thread shows how Christian principles come to play in all of life's challenging circumstances. A good read. I received an Advanced Reader Copy but the opinions are my own.

I listened to this book on hoopla and it was AI generated. instead of read by an actual person. There was no emotion in the AI generated voice and it doesn't know the difference between certain words like tear. instead of it being said, tear like you're crying, it read tear like you are tearing a piece of paper.

This was a fantastic conclusion to a Christian fiction series. The characters only grew with each story. I appreciated the mild peril, and that there was also HEA! I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book, but it did not in any way affect my review. All opinions are my own.

“Jenny, God is always faithful; you can trust Him.”

Jenny brushed the cross like she was getting wrinkles out of it. “I wish I understood more. I have so many questions about my parents′ deaths and why God took them. I have so many questions about why I’m sick.”

This is the second book I've read written by Jodi Artzberger; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is the second book in the Otter Bay Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Jenny & Adam’s love is put to the test when he becomes ill.

A romantic suspense. I love books about already married couples and this one was amazing. While I sorta understood Jenny's reasoning I just wish she would have been honest - sooner - with Adam. But we wouldn't have gotten this story. Adam loves Jenny with such a fierceness - definitely swoon worthy. The mystery involving her brother kept me on the edge of my seat. Loved the ending and getting to see the couple from book 1.
