And the award for Omega of the Year goes to... me.
Or at least it did, but now I'm not so sure I deserve the title I worked so hard for.
When I don't match with a pack, something snaps inside of me.
All the years of being the perfect omega have left me with nothing to show for it except a one-way ticket to an omega compound.
So, I do the only thing I can think of… I run.
Somehow, I wind up in a boyband’s pool in the middle of the night after drinking too much wine with my twin sister.
N’Pact is the most famous alpha boyband to ever grace the cover of Alpha Heat Magazine and it’s hard to contain my giddiness when they pull me from the depths of my despair.
They never thought they’d have a chance with another omega until I crashed into their lives.
But will they let me be their perfect omega and protect me from the wrath of Omega Protective Services, or will my life be ruined forever?
*Their Perfect Omega is a standalone told in multiple points of view and contains adult content. It is part of a series of standalones that can be read in any order. You can read Kara’s twin sister’s story in Knot So Perfect Omega.
I really loved this one. I enjoyed the first book in the series as well, and the author really delivered on this one. I think Maya Nicole is doing a great job with this series, and it’s a fantastic example of sweet omegaverse.
The drama is just the right amount to where you’re worried about it, but not stressed to the point of ruining the story. I cried a little bit toward the end, which for me is always a great sign that the author really created a connection to the reader. I was invested in the characters and the relationship. This was a fairly quick and easy read, but it definitely covers all the bases and nothing felt rushed or underdeveloped. There is a thread of humor and sweetness throughout while also being steamy and having a lightly suspenseful conflict.
I also really liked the way she balances Kara as both independent, but also biologically dependent with a self-awareness of her needs and the ability to differentiate how she’s really feeling and what’s ‘omega instinct’. It makes her seem more realistic to me, like she’s a real person I could be friends with, and not some Mary Sue self-insert. Sometimes creating a realistic and believable heroine is a big struggle for romance authors especially in omegaverse or PNR genres like shifter stories where characters have a biologically-driven dual nature. The way Kara reacts and thinks just felt really well done to me, so kudos to the author!
I’m going to need a few months before I allow anyone to try and tell me Kara’s pack isn’t MINE. Yup, my ego is the size of Texas right now having a pack of MY very own. No one can tell me otherwise, Kara Marie is a very specific name and it’s mine so HA! Take that N’Pact groupies!
Phew, now that everyone understands who N’Pact belongs to (me) I’ll get to my actual review. This book (and the previous one) was absolutely phenomenal! I had been going through such a bad slump DNFing book after book after book and then I found Omega Match and BOOM, I finished both books in one sitting each. I was so invested in Their Perfect Omega that I didn’t even take the time to eat or go on a bathroom break while reading it. TMI? Nah, I think it shows how incredible Maya Nicole’s writing is.
Welp it was nice talking to y’all but I have an extended epilogue to get to. After all, I need to know what happens next for me and my pack of hotties.
Full disclosure, I was leery of this book just based on the synopsis. I don’t like “woe is me” heroines and that exactly how the synopsis described her. But…the first one was ok enough that I kinda wanted to give this one a chance.
At 21% I had enough. Our heroine is wallowing in self pity. She live the “perfect” life, she did everything “perfectly”, she was even Omega of the Year (I think that’s what it was) yet no pack picked her to be their Omega. Cue the water works 😐
Our heroine is having a mental breakdown because she wasn’t picked in the first selection of the year. Doesn’t matter that there is another selection in a few months or even next year, she didn’t get picked at this one so her world is ending. No one wants her…blah blah blah. It’s a reoccurring theme through the portion that I read.
However, I do have to give her some credit because in the middle of her breakdown she decides she’s going to break out of the Omega Compound and go visit her sister 1000 miles away. To do this she had to steal her neighbors car and then drive herself. I give her props for giving a middle finger to the system. However, any points she earned she lost once arriving at her sisters.
We get a full view of not only her immaturity but if her negligence. Y’all…she has two of those squishy mellows that she talks to and that she mimics them taking back to her in baby voices 🤦♀️ Shes in her 20s!! Then after a night of drinking she leaves her sisters house, leaving the back door unlocked, and breaking the security gate to the house (refresher…her sister is bonded to pro athletes and stalkers are well known. The whole neighborhood has security gates and numerous security measures - think a Hollywood like neighborhood where some movie stars live). Anything could have happened to her sister. Then she decides she’s going to just “check out” the hot alpha bands house and sneaks through their gate onto their property.
I was quickly losing my interest and ready to DNF at that point but what pushed it over the edge is that, in her negligence- again - she almost kills the bands dog! She leaves her suppressants on a table and he eats them. Not fully her fault but I wasn’t willing to overlook anything more from her.
Full stop right then and there. Do not pass to, do not collect $200. IM DONE.
First of all I like that the covers matched the description, one twin had wavy hair the other had curly so I loved that the covers reflected that
Moving on This is Kara's story, bathe perfect Omega four years running yet she's finished her education without a match. Everyone was stunned, now Kara lives and works at the Omega compound but she isn't the perfect Omega she used to be. Stealing a car and driving to her sister's is definitely not her usual course of action. A drunken run in with her sister's neighbours the famous Alpha band N'Pack changes the course of her life forever.
****** This flowed much better than book 1 and I much preferred this set up The guys were on watch by the authorities because they were thought to be unstable Rejected by a previous omega they're not allowed to match until next season A secret relationship that causes tons of problems when Kara goes into heat
This is a standalone with crossover characters from the same world. The main characters from this book are introduced in Knot So Perfect Omega (which is also worth reading if you haven’t already!)
Kara is a mess for the first time in her life. She worked so hard to excel at her omega studies to be the top omega for Omega Match. She should have been able to match with any pack she wants, but through no fault of her own, she ends up with zero matches. She has a breakdown and makes a series of rash decisions that end with her meeting the popular alpha pack boy band N’Pact. Sparks fly! But there are more than a few big complications that could get in the way of a happily ever after.
I enjoyed the dynamic between Kara and the different pack members. Each connection starts out differently and takes time to develop. The dynamic within the pack is intriguing as well; due to past issues and their career, they’re struggling to keep their bonds in place. I love the way Kara breaks down barriers and brings them closer without even trying - she’s just being herself. She struggles with an identity crisis, which makes sense considering her determination to be perfect and not cause any problems for almost her entire life.
There is plenty of spicy scenes 🥵🥵🥵 If you love nesting, knots, and heats, with a splash of angst and drama, this book is for you!
You have to root for Kara!! Unlike Kayla. . having a pack was absolutely what she wanted. She was perfect. . .or maybe she wasn't as perfect as she thought and that is what makes the story so wonderful. You feel her struggle!! This book gave me all the feels. The pack as well. All of them brought tears to my eyes. But Avery!! Phew! Emotions!! I don't want to drop any spoilers but I am loving the Omega Match series. Kara's story is heartbreaking but you definitely get your HEA in the end. It is wonderful that the sister got there in the end. Maya has created her own Omegaverse universe and I am screaming for Omega Match reform!! I can't wait for book 3....
These characters had me absolutely devoted to seeing them get everything they wanted. Kara really changes her outlook on life in this book. I was happy that she was more laid back and playful compared to book one. Her issues with Omega Match and not finding a pack really changed her outlook on everything. I was so happy we got lots of peaks into Kayla and her pack's life as well. I love their twin bond and how close the girls are. Their personal relationship is one of my favorites.
These guys were in a rough spot and we basically get to see them reform as a pack. They each had to find their way back to each other and it was great to see them building strong friendships. I will not go into details about the trauma that caused them to suffer but it severely impacted their group as a whole and individually. There was a lot of Character building within the group so although they were a pack it was almost as they were just starting out. Avery's emotional development was one of my favorites and I loved seeing such a change in him.
I've never read an Omegaverse with betas in a pack that small who weren't directly involved with the relationship but I absolutely loved Anya & Jonathan. They were so supportive. I will admit I was super hesitant about them at the beginning from book one but they were amazing side characters.
Will they, won’t they? 💗 *reverse harem *omegaverse *multi-pov *boyband *struggling omega *standalone Finished in one day! This book contains angst, action and all the omegaverse elements of heats, knitting and binding 😃 Kara has her life thrown out if whack when she doesn’t receive a match, despite winning omega of the year four times and graduating as the very best 😫 it causes her to seriously question what the point is of straining to be perfect when it doesn’t get you anywhere! After some very questionable decisions she finds herself in the sights of N’Pact, the quartet of alphas boy band …. Which certainly spells some interesting moments 🙈unfortunately the band have their own tragic backstory and so with the OPS after Kara and their own pack under surveillance it’s a tricky situation! But in the time they have together Kara falls for Alvie the heartfelt leader; Tate the caring sweetie; Cal the passionate and possessive one; and Avery the broody moody one! And Kara with her softness and sass brings these boys together after they’ve been falling apart! Yet Maya does so well keeping you guessing as to will they won’t they actually make a pack with all the situations thrown at them!! 🥺 A rollercoaster read 😄
I just love a good omegaverse. I knew Kara would be a lovable character to follow and she did not disappoint. Right out the gate, she was doing the unexpected and I loved her for it. I did not get up once while reading this (unhealthy? Probably but oh well). I kept getting swept up in the story.
This is definitely cute and easy to read. If you loved the prior book Knot So Perfect Omega, you’ll love this one too. Maya Nicole knows how to keep us entertained and begging for more.
Absolutely loved it. After reading “Knot So Perfect Omega”, I was invested in Kara's fate and excited about her love story with the N'Pact. One thing is sure: I wasn't disappointed. Sure, it is a little predictable—like with book 1, too. I expected obstacles with Omega Match, OPS and so on.
And I was right with that. Still, I was captivated from page one. I loved that the “not so perfect” worked out perfectly again. And I still loved it, that this first two books were about twins. As I mentioned in the review for Kayla's story, twins are not that common, and when there are some, it's usual a difference in a light and dark theme. Like, Kayla was described as the “bad twin” in comparison to Kara, who was Omega of the Year three years in a row.
But Maya Nicole took that, and made a twist out of it. Kayla fit imperfectly perfect with her pack. And in this book, Kara, the perfect omega, find her perfect in an assuming imperfect pack. And it worked out perfectly.
I love how this story points out, that sometimes apparently perfect things aren't always the right choice. And mistakes don't mean that it's the end of the world. That you can rise above them and find something even better.
So, I was in love with Kara and N'Pact and felt for them throughout the book. It was emotional and sweet. I loved the little quirks. Kara and her Squishmallows especially. Jonathan and Anya, the betas, were really nice too. All in all, I believed the emotions and story in the entirety.
Of course, it is easy to see, who will star the next book in this series. ;) I'm not complaining. I'm just sad, that the twins are over. The epilogue was okay. Same with the bonus epilogue. Okay, because I hate it, when there is a baby mentioned, but in the end I don't know anything about it. We don't even get to know the gender. So, I wasn't happy with it. But it was a sweet HEA for them all.
The only other thing, I kind of complaint about, is the girl, Blair Connor, who helped Kara. It seems she is in a dire situation, but it isn't mentioned anything about her in the end. What happened to her? Will she get her own book? Would be nice to know.
Their Perfect Omega is the perfect combination of fun, spice, and emotional heartache. I literally devoured this in one setting, and found I loved Kara’s story more than her sister Kayla’s.
Kara has strived to be the perfect omega and in fact been awarded Omega of the Year several times. When she ends up not making a match, she snaps. After a series of hilariously drunken rash decisions, she ends up in the pool of alpha boy band N’Pact and sparks fly🔥🔥.
However, there are complications ahead and with OPS and Omega Match breathing down their necks can Kara ever become their perfect omega?
I loved the relationship dynamics between Kara, Avery, Tate, Cal, and Alvie. Each individual connection is unique. The N’Pact alphas are all the right amount of sexy, sweet, and deliciously feral. And the author definitely turns up the spice 🥵.
I also loved Kara’s relationship with her twin and her quirky squishmallow obsession.
This book will give you all the feels, humor, and steam. I can’t wait for the next book in the Omega Match Series.
Oh my gosh, I was so excited to be getting Kara's story! And the fact that it's with N'Pact! After reading her sister's story and everything they all went through I was curious as to what Kara would go through to find her HEA. It was a long road filled with action, angst, and the fun knotting, heats, and binding that comes with omegaverse.
After Kara doesn't receive a match despite being the "best" omega, she doesn't know how to react! She has wanted a pack all of her own and that's been her sole purpose, being the perfect omega for the pack of her dreams, that never comes. She finds herself in the pool of N'Pact after she escapes the omega compound to visit her sister, who lives right next door to the alpha boyband. These guys have had their own issues with omegas so they weren't sure what to do when Kara landed herself in their pool.
I loved watching Kara fall in love with the band, Alvie, Tate, Cal, and Avery. She really finds a way to bring them together after they've been pulled apart. I also loved the difference of stories between Kayla's and Kara's stories. We had some fun character crossovers and I liked seeing them! I am super curious as to what is going on with Omega Match, seems like something funky is happening!
Can't wait to see more of this amazing world that Maya created!
I really wanted to love this story, the guys seemed so awesome when introduced in book one. But this was a let-down. Scattered motivations, missing details and a strange amount of moaning and groaning about decisions. I dunno'. It just felt very hobbled together on the back end of such a good presentation of that first book.
I'm really looking forward to the third book, but this was a dud for me. You can tell author worked hard on it, but the struggle didn't really combine into a working assortment of plot. But all the pieces are very cute, so there's that. I just wish the 'gel' was more apparent and the details flowed better.
Kara’s story was just as good as her sisters! It went in a completely different direction than I expected but it was worth the twist and turns! Looking forward to the next instalment, this genre is just a comfort for me.
I'm usually a fan of OV, this one was almost a DNF for me. The talking to squishmallows and then doing voices as if they were talking was a big turnoff for me from this book as it just makes her seem too young but the reviews were good so I kept going. I think my main issue with this story is that we didn't really learn much about the characters. I don't have strong feelings about any characters because other than meeting each other and being upset over the matching system, we learned nothing about their personalities. I didn't feel like I felt their connection other than scents and biology.
“Have you ever felt so lost that you don’t even know who you are anymore or what you’re doing?"
After being denied a pack during The Omega Match Program, Kara finds herself feeling very lost and confused.
But even with everything she's feeling, she decides to go stay a few weeks with her twin sister/best friend to make sure Kayla is doing okay after everything she went through!
While staying with her sister she meets the N'Pact Pack, a well known boy band, and her favorite band. Even after she embarrasses herself so many times in front of them they are still interested in making her their Omega! Only they have lots of issues as a pack they have to overcome before Pack Health will even allow them an omega in their pack and back in The Omega Match Program.
“I’m tired of never being good enough, Cal.”
"We are good enough. Don’t let people who don’t even know us or Kara dictate if we’re good enough for each other. Maybe if we all started believing that, so would they.”

It was a sweet omegaverse book that unfortunately had me cringing soooo many times!
1. When she would talk in her stuffed animal voices! 2. The dirty talk from a few of the alphas
Now. I really did like the first book, and it very few cringy moments. But that happens sometimes in omegaverse books. I can brush a few of them off. BUT Kara... I struggled to connect with her. I found her character to be rather flighty and weak, even for an omega.
With all of that said, there were moments in this book I did like!

•Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ •Plot:⭐️⭐️ •Humor: 🙃🙃 •Spice:🌶 •Relationship pace: Fast •Ending: HEA
•Tropes: Omegaverse, Rockstar romance, rejected omega living in a compound!
I may be more jaded after reading a LOT of books, specifically omegaverses and reverse harems, but I was a little bit bored by this. Don’t get me wrong, it was good. A solid omegaverse. I like that in this series the government that regulates, protects, and matches omegas is different than I’ve read in most other books of this genre. I feel like it’s in a developmental point previous to what’s expected from omegaverse governments, which adds a new flavor of contention and potential conflict for the characters in this society/universe. Despite that, I feel like the characters weren’t fully fleshed out. You got most of the detail for the FMC but very little for the supporting MMCs. I feel like the most information I got about Tate was in the last chapter of his POV. I think there could have been a lot more expanded on their lives over the multiple months they went through a long distance/text relationship and we could have seen the characters grow together and learn about them as they learned about each other, but instead it just skipped to *insert SpongeBob narrator voice here* “many months later”. The smut was pretty top tier, 4/5. Maya has never let me down in that department. Overall it was pretty good and I didn’t hate it or anything but I don’t think I’d ever pick it up to re-read it either, it’s just a bit boring.
The perfect omegas plans were dashed in book one when someone tampered with her list and gave her choice to her twin sister instead. She gets her story in this book.
Kara is in the omega compound now and basically having a crisis of life because all she ever wanted was a pack and she’s convinced her self she’s going to end up all alone. Completely out of character, she steals a friends car, sneaks out of the compound and drives across country alone to see her sister. This is where the fun starts because she is a train wreck. I love that she has squishmellows and coped by speaking through them. I love that she finally breaks the perfect bubble and goes after what she wants. What I don’t love is she’s has a full woe is me vibe that wears in the nerves in spots.
The narrators are amazing though. I think had I read it, finishing may have been a challenge but the voices being so much more to the story. The added inflection and emotion help soften the rough edges. And kept me entertained all the way through.
The book has a lot of emotions, interactions between all the mates is varied and not all one note. If you love reverse harem with knots Ian’s humor this should be up your alley.
We get the ‘perfect’ twin sister this time, and she’s headed off the rails. Her life and future are literally collapsing around her, so I think she held up okay really. Her little Squishmallow quirk was overdone, but it was fun and random, so who really cares. This was sweet and sexy, but also tried to keep real life complications and ramifications forefront in the world, so it wasn’t just a cookie cutter Omegaverse. There’s more of the wider world building included, but it still could have used a little more to clarify in a few areas. I prefer the focus on the group anyhow, so not a huge deal. I love that the conflict and drama comes mostly from outside the group, it’s an us vs the world sort of scenario and more political than malicious. They’re devoted and compassionate and empathetic and it made for a great romance that overcame the odds. The very end slows down as we get a chapter from each character in summary but does give it that unity we’ve all love, and hope for future Omegas that the system will improve. It sets up for two more Omega’s stories (though Loving Their Omega says it’s never going to happen), but it's definitely a finished for now sort of ending.
Not gonna lie, from all Alpha/Omega books I read, this one was on really boring side. First of all Lead female was extremely desperate when she met alphas , she jumped on them without second thought , they was desperate for omega as well and jumped right back on her. I know that in these books omegas are shown as dependants on Alphas and Alphas has strong urges to take care of them, but in this book Omega hardly could’ve function without them, always crying and whining , they had to take care of her like a baby, I think her neediness for them was taken too far. In first book Omegas Match programs seemed to be like something to make perfect match for alphas and omegas , also with high security for omegas . In this book it seemed more like jail for omegas, they can’t make their own decision and adult women’s have to get permission to mate with Alphas which seemed like complete nonsense , Alphas as well have to get permission to get an omega , it was just ridiculous to read. The end of book was very boring , couldn’t wait to finish it faster. Definitely not the best book
I absolutely adored this book. I loved the cross over from the previous book, which I loved seeing the characters. I was invested to see where Kara’s story went and how she would find her HEA. I was captivated from the first page and loved how she had her “perfect” HEA.
This book was swoon worthy and had moments filled with tears and laughter. I love Kara’s personality. It came out so much in this book. I feel like in the first one she was trying to be perfect, but I loved the way she came out of her shell more and wasn’t so perfect. The men? They were so beautiful with Kara, the way they loved her. The chemistry between them was HOT. I couldn’t get enough.
Spice? Yaaaasssss! I loved every moment, including those sweet moments they had. It was absolutely adorable.
Overall, I loved this book. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an omegaverse RH. This book had me swooning and it did not disappoint at all. I loved the journey these characters took and the way they all came together in the end.
This was so good. This is a standalone, but I'll be going back to read about Kara's twin sister Kayla in the first book Knot So Perfect Omega as the fmc's are twin sister's. This was by a new arthur for me and I tell you I think I've fallen down the omegaverse rabbit hole as I can't get enough of these stories. I have found so many new arthurs since I started reading these stories.
Kara has been pretty much been the perfect omega her whole life. She's done everything right up until she doesn't find her perfect match and she spirals and decides to runaway from the Omega compound to her sister's to only wind up in her sister's next door neighbor's pool, and to realize that the neighbor's are the boyband N'pact.
Alvie, Tate, Cal and Avery better known as N'Pact have had their own issues with Omega's, so when they find Kara in their pool they don't know what to do about her, but they soon discover that there's something about her.
I liked the fact that Kara after being perfect for so long finally starts being herself and that they all get their hea.
Their Perfect Omega is book two in the series Omega Match by author Maya Nicole. Incredibly intriguing read. Like the previous book lots happening in between the pages. Like the MFC is an identical twin and the perfect one. Only this really didn’t help her in the beginning- being perfect in everyone’s eyes. So she decided her sister had the best idea - don’t live for others only for yourself. This caused some problems- car theft, dog attack, almost drowning and so much more. Some very hilarious moments and not some. Ok so the MMCs - four of them! They have had their issues too. Life isn’t so glamorous being stars- paparazzi, the very insistent fans, a rejected mate bond, and not to mention their own weakening bonds. Then of course fate plus a near drowning helps liven things up. Which in turns causes some more issues. Yet life finally clicks. Oh along the way some spicy moments cause naughty thoughts. All in all o can say this has been my one of favorite series so far this year. So thank you Maya Nicole. Enjoy!!
After something goes wrong during the spring Omega Match, Kayla ends up matching with a pack, while her twin sister and four time Omega of the Year, Kara, ends up being shipped off to an Omega compound for her protection.
After Kara breaks the Omega rules and drives from Washington to California to visit her sister, her life takes an interesting turn when she finds herself being chased by a dog, right into the pool of the most famous Alpha boyband in the world, N’Pact. After an unexpected issue with a previous Omega, Alvaro, Cal, Avery, and Tate are left unable to participate in Omega Match, believing that they would never find their perfect Omega, but they never expected one to fall right into their pool.
I absolutely love this world that Maya has created, and how the concept for Kara’s story is so different from Kayla’s story. Something is clearly going on with Omega Match, and I can’t wait to finally see what it is! This book was full of spice, but also the sweetest and most romantic moments. N’Pact’s dog, Gizmo, really is the star of the show though!!
Omega Match is an omegaverse reverse harem romance series of standalones, but I highly suggest reading Kayla’s story, Knot So Perfect Omega, before jumping into Kara’s story, as there are character crossovers.
Their Perfect Omega is book two of the Omega Match series of interconnected standalones. This is Kara’s story and I absolutely devoured it…read it in one sitting! Kara was the perfect omega until she didn’t have any matches during the Omega Match. Feeling out of sorts, she decides to sneak out and go be with her sister (from book one). After making several bad decisions she runs into N’Pact, a famous rockstar band. Cal, Alvaro, Avery and Tate are going through their own problems with their tragic pasts. With the Wold Pack Health Organization breathing down their necks they didn’t need anymore trouble…especially not a tempting omega!
This book has angst, heartbreak, suspense, spice and will have you in all your feels! I loved Kara and N’Pact’s story and can’t wait for more from this world! If you like omegaverse romances then you will love this one!
