I usually don’t like self help books but I have to say that this one was top tier. It did not take the approach of trying to tell you what was the best way to approach a new career or a career change. It showed the best methods through personal stories of people who went through apprentices and benefited from the master-apprentice relationship to get to where they are. I really appreciated this approach in the book because it allowed you to take away the key lessons that you wanted and allowed the freedom to see what applied to you and your situation. Plus the personal stories were genuinely interesting so it was a quick and easy read!
