This was an enjoyable book, not great but helped me see the value of any self help book. Any author can identify the issues. The reader will find them selves saying “yes that’s at me” or “yes that happens to me too!” But there are never any resolutions offered. A study like this is good to plant a seed but likely won’t fix anything if your life is off. Ultimately the reader is most benefitted by being a student of the author going forward and following his teachings for self improvement. I wouldn’t group this book with the likes of other more impactful men’s books. You Dona lot of journaling in combination with reading but the journaling didn’t lead to a document creation like a personal code of ethics. I’m sure if you utilize Kings resources for improved lifestyle some of this would be more effective down the road. Although the journaling was useful I never created a code of kings personal contract like I expected. Like I said it’s best to think of this book as a first step, but not an end in and of itself. Best uses for first steps but not in my opinion for a long term plan .
