An omega’s guide to surviving… That's all. Just Survival.

First, if you want a midnight snack because you just can’t sleep, then try a sleep aid. Or, if you are like me and driven by your stomach, then go for a walk and see what happens. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, though, because you might witness the murder of a bonded omega.

Second, don’t panic. Whatever you do, do not panic and run for your life, but if you freak out, then remain quiet and do not race into a potted plant, giving away your location.

Third, if you literally fall into a delta’s arms during your escape, and he smells like sweaty nights and a potential mate, then listen when said mate tells you to run, because that is the only way you will survive. Run. I mean it. Act like you are a track star and take off into the night, and whatever you do, don’t look back.

Fourth, if you are an unbonded omega like me, don’t be naïve. The council will hunt you down and find you, regardless of how much time has passed. Don’t get complacent, take precautions, and again, do not panic.

The biggest lesson of all? Mates don’t let their omegas go that easily.

When he finds me, he’s not alone.

Welcome to Terra, where not everyone is looking out for your best interests, but the pheromones sure smell nice. Each book focuses on a different set of fated mates with Norse themes. By the end of every book, each polycule will have their happily ever after. Only books one and two will have the same set of characters.

Not every loose end will be resolved at the end of the book. Some secrets will span additional books, but will in no way take away from the individual stories. This series doesn’t hold back—MM, MMFM, poly, and trigger warnings.

NOT A STANDALONE

Super frustrating to read. I constantly felt like there was something I was issuing in the book, and spent a good majority of it confused. Every te something new was "revealed" it was hard to understand exactly what the author was trying to get at. A character would reveal something about their background, the other characters would be surprised, but then it was never actually explained why this was surprising and it also never felt like it had an impact on the plot. The FMC was supposed to seem strong after recovering from trauma, or at least that's what she told herself, but she never actually did much throughout the book. She also never really bonded much with her alphas except for Sebastion, just spent the whole book sitting on laps.
Two frustrating points are that the main characters just keep losing. They never got to succeed even a small bit when they tried to make a move, and it just made me give up by the end because I knew they were going to fail.
Finally, the Amazon listing for this book states that "by the end of each book, each polycule will have their own happy ending" yeah, the definitely DID NOT HAPPEN. This was far from an HEA and had a cliffhanger of all godawful things. Will not ne reading the next book.

So I really liked this book.
It had all the things I was hoping it would.
Action, adventure, humor, steamy scenes, teasing, some MM love that was already well established.
The ending was exciting.

…I’m just writing this after already finishing the second book, and I was disappointed by that so it’s sort of tainting my review of this one.

But really.
I liked this book.
When I finished it I was excited about the next one.
I was looking forward to Sebastian and Audrey getting closer, because in this one, their relationship needs some work still. He’s much more focused and comfortable with his relationship with his beta. And it feels like he’s a bit hesitant to get any deeper with Audrey than surface level.

🤷🏻‍♀️I still liked it though.
I think it’s a pretty good book.

Interesting

Although I liked it, I felt a bit put off by Sebastian/Hawk’s relationship. I understand they had one before Audrey and Sebastian claimed Hawk. But I got the feeling it was separate from the pack and in an omegaverse that doesn’t work.
However I did get that feeling more from Sebastian than Hawk.
I never warmed up to Sebastian, one one hand I understood the hesitation on the bonding because they just found her but he was fighting it for political reasons also which wasn’t fair because it put her in danger.
My favorite was Riot ❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE him. And how he was all in with her
I liked Atlas as well he was a big ole softie for her.
I did like her friend Mila at the beginning. But then I got a weird feeling about her. Maybe in the second book we will find out what’s going on
This was a different take on omegaverse having deltas and gammas and magas added. It was very interesting.

“Alphas protect. Deltas serve. Betas secure. Gammas support. Mages heal. Omegas are cherished.”

I read a lot of omegaverse – it is one of my guilty pleasures. Audrey, book one in the Castle Omega series, is a fantastic example of the trope. We are introduced to some new classes in this OV universe with unique qualities (probably the best being the barbed pen13 a certain designation enjoys).

It is an exciting read right out of the gate with Audrey escaping from the Castle after witnessing a murder. I laughed many times at Audrey’s inner dialog and felt her angst.

What I appreciated the most with this book was the author’s treatment of Fated Mates. While Audrey and her pack are fated, there is a hesitancy about immediately knotting and claiming. So, please do not go into this book expecting them to scent each other and go into a rut. It is a slower build but true to the characters’ personalities.

Warning: the cliffhanger is emotional and hints at so many unanswered questions. I am waiting anxiously for book two’s release.

The couple: Sebastian/Hawke/Atlas/Riot/Audrey

Romance genre: omegaverse
Series: Castle Omega
Length: 321 pages

Plot: Audrey is an omega and has been living at the Castle waiting for her turn to be given to a pack. But something strange is going on at the Castle, and it seems like the omegas might be in danger. When Audrey sees another omega murdered, she is ready to run, and at that point she meets one of her pack members, Riot, a Delta who tells her to run and that he will find her. It takes a little over a year, but he does. He finally convinces the rest of his pack that she is meant to be theirs and they track her down where she is living as a beta with a couple of friends. But there is some politics going on and the bad guys know where she is and they want her back at the Castle.

Commentary: This is the first book in the series, so I'm assuming there will be more worldbuilding and filling in some of the backstory, especially regarding the politics that is putting the omegas in danger. I sometimes felt like there were things I simply didn't know (as opposed to things I didn't understand) and that kept me from fully engaging in the story. In addition, and this is absolutely a personal preference, while I don't mind some MM, I prefer that the majority of the attention focus on the female omega. The males' relationships with each other were already well-established, and so it seemed to me like at times Audrey was trying to be smushed into the middle of that web simply because she was an omega, where the guys already had romantic relationships with each other built on trust, friendship, shared experiences, etc. It made the possibility of her relationships with them seem more artificial because of the focus on their love affairs. It's probably me - I don't get the setup in some way - but that's a personal preference in an rh. But I think the world has potential (once I find out a little more about what's going!).
Rito could come home with me though - he gets my full approval!
This story did end in a cliffhanger.

Next book in the series: Abloom

She just cries, whimpers and whines the whole time.

When she’s not being emotionally overloaded into her own body shutting down, she roles with everything without much huff or fuss and excites readers in the meantime with her overwhelmingly flavorful character- a stale bread roll.

So here’s the skinny of it. I read this. Front to cover. Every word. Every page. Every chapter. I. Read. This.

So I know I can say with certainty, that I know exactly WHY this novel holds persuasion in luring unsuspecting readers into thinking it’s any good. Allow me to stress, I honestly can’t say I agree with that assessment in the least.

This novel had potential. At the beginning, starting out I was getting world building, and setting and a good idea of who our FL was. There were some things in the beginning that raised flags for me. (How often did this girls stomach growl in those first chapters? Like honestly? And why is she “nesting” in the tub throwing a hissy fit at a sink with threats that she will “violate you” as one of the first things out of her mouth all within chapter one like that line wasn’t going to be misconstrued badly in a book about Omegas? -Wha? No.) Tho, I forgave it bc we were still in the midst of building everything up and the writing wasn’t awful I guess.

Towards the middle though I think what kept me going were the guys and the siren call of “spice”.

Review TBC. It’s 5am rn and I needs sleep.

Edit: 10/23/2022 4:51am. I have completely and totally lost my train of thought… but the moral to this review is that I thought this was poorly done for something that had the potential to be awesome. The ending had my eyes rolling to the back of my head it was so awful and melodramatic and I’m like 99% sure the guys all kinda ended up just holding each other’s d!cks at the end as they watched the FL ride off into the sunset to try to save the world- the ditz.

This is a combined review for Audrey and Abloom (books 1 & 2 from Omega Castle). I’ve never read an omegaverse book/series and honestly had to google what tf omegaverse even was. and after my google search, i was still confused 😂 however, diving into Omega Castle had me completely understanding what it was.

I loved these two books! the world building that Elle Lincoln did was amazing. I always love Elle’s heroines. if I could only say one good thing about her books (which would be hard because i’m a huge fan of hers) it would be that she writes the best heroines. I thought Audrey was amazing!

The guys. I wasn’t a huge fan of Sebastian, he knew the kind of character he was (holding himself back) and i wanted to smack him hard. buuuttt I thought Riot, Atlas, and Hawk were great! i loved Riot.

I was even super invested in all of the side characters! i’m so excited that there is at least two more books, Sawyer and Mila.

I lied, i can’t say just one good thing about Elle. Another thing that i love that she does is the story plots continue in her series/world. So even though these two books wrap up Audrey’s story and she gets a HEA, the underlying plot isn’t resolved yet. That’ll continue to grow and expand in the next books.

DNF

I DNF’d about 35% into this book. I found the world building to be very interesting. I liked the different castes - Alpha, Delta, Beta, Gamma, Mage, Omega. Definitely a little different from other omegaverse books I’ve read. I just could not get past the poor grammar. I’d have to reread sentences or paragraphs a couple times to understand. Felt very disjointed.

Spoiler:
The first chapter was all over the place. One moment the MC is having a random nervous breakdown & the next she’s pissed about her snacks getting taken away. There’s also an odd focus on food. I hate when authors make liking food or snacks part of a character’s personality. Everyone gets hungry. I wish the MC would’ve just woken up, felt hungry, and decided to sneak downstairs for a snack. There was no need to whine about her secret stash of snacks being taken away. That brings nothing to the plot.

Could have been a 3 or4 star until it fell down the hesitancy to bond trope and then the TSTL trope. Was rooting for FMC she shows lots of maturity until the end…also felt that the pack was not very solid…it was like Sebastian and Hawk dynamic was separate from the normal omegaverse like the had their own little love nest that the omega cannot be part of nor is Atlas and Riot part of it..Mage friend Mila was kind of creepy…just saying..not a lot of spice…really sucks for and RH

no omega needed

The guys have each other and don’t need Audrey…. Plain and simple. Sure, she grounds them, keeps them from beasting out but they don’t need her in a relationship sense. Bast has Hawk, I’d have loved a book on just them. Riot and Atlas have each other and are the only 2 who might actually fit Audrey with them. Not the story for me.

First of all I accepted this book not realizing that I had already purchased this book off of Amazon. But I still felt the need to review it on here since I had already accepted it. This is an absolutely amazing heart racing suspenseful book. Audrey was taken from her family when she first perfumed and taken to the Omega castle. That is where she gets all her training on how to be a proper omega. She Witnesses something horrible and ends up running. In her Escape she meets her mate Riot who tells her to run. I absolutely love him and my second favorite would be Hawk her beta mate. His strengths and his softness speaks to me. Atlas is strong and courageous and protective. Sebastian just wants to set the world right. They all want to set the world right and make changes for the betterment of all. The ending of this book leaves you on the Cliff's edge. Luckily I have the next book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

RH MMMM (2 Alphas, 1 Delta, 1 Beta)/Fated Mates-insta attraction/Multi PoV

SYNOPSIS (of Duet): This story is set in the Omegaverse where Omegas are rare and as such are collected at early ages to be raised in the “Omega Castle”, sequestered from the world and their families and seen purely for bonding and “breeding”. The FC, Audrey, was taken from her parents at 13 yrs and brought to Omega Castle where she was raised to be a perfect Omega waiting to be bonded when she reached 22yrs (the Omega age of maturity). The night before she turns 22yrs the FC has cold feet and when sneaking away to get a snack sees something she shouldn’t and thus flees the Castle. Whilst fleeing she meets one of her fated mates who tells her to run and that he will come after her. Fast forward to a year later and the FC is living in hiding as a Beta running a flower shop in a Beta only region. The story covers how her mates find her, how the FC is being sought by the Castle who are trying to kill her and the political intrigue and secrets that abound in the Alpha Council headed by the Monarch and which is saturated by perversity and twisted alphas.

Heat Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Amount of pages dedicated to sex scenes:🍆🍆🍆🍆 The amount of sex scenes ratchets up as the Duet progresses with multiple pages dedicated to such scenes in Book 2 especially when the FC has her heat. The scenes are hot and include group, MM and MF with quite a few MM focussed scenes without the FC involved. There are two primary MM groupings, Alpha/Beta and Alpha/Delta but they swap on occasion.

Overall View: This Duet is riddled with editing and typo issues which mean that sections of the books don’t make sense, words are missing, incorrectly used or spelt ie the FC steps onto a stool and then squeezes the bath mat with her toes 🤔? Whilst the FC is strong and likeable the MCs, especially Sebastian, are weak and indecisive. Book 1 starts strong with an interesting, albeit not unique, storyline which fails to deliver, is full of gaps and lacks resolution of the issues raised by the author.

The author introduces various sub plots and villainous characters but mostly leaves these unresolved or with gaps, for example, Seraphina is described as having been tortured for information, why bother when the alpha can just use his bark? There are mentions of the Omegas not being killed but other things happening but do the MCs do anything to look into this or question things further? No, in fact no one seems to question why alphas would indiscriminately murder Omegas when they are so rare and needed for the future of the race 🫣. There is a scene where the FC is attacked in the forest and there are descriptions of cuts and bruises etc. that she suffers but when she is found by the MCs they don’t seem interested in what she has gone through they just all leap in the shower and then there is no further mention of her injuries. Nat and Mila appear in Book 1 but then just disappear from the story only to pop up at the end of Book 2. You don’t find out until Book 2 why or how Bethany came back to the Castle and even then it makes little sense as to why her pack would bring her back when they could simply “alpha bark” her into submission.

It is frustrating when an author introduces a plot mechanism but then fails to use it consistently. This author is not consistent with her use of the alpha bark, sometimes it is used and cannot be broken, other times it is not used or is used and can be broken. If you are going to introduce this type of plot mechanism then at least be consistent and not when it suits 😖 There is some violence but not this is not lengthy, detailed or overly graphic and there is some drama but little actual angst.

The FC is one of the few redeeming characters, she is strong and likeable and not afraid to fight back. I much prefer this type of omega to the doormat type so many authors characterise. There are some likeable side characters who are dropped in and out of the story but which at least provide a bit more dimension.

There is a good amount of world building and background development for each alpha and they are each unique in what they bring to the story with Riot definitely being my favourite. Unfortunately, I found the pack lead Alpha to be weak and indecisive. The scene where he’s on the ‘phone to his father and just lets him play him, the scene in the lift where his father overpowers them, the fact that the two alphas appear to have spent years just doing what they have been told and condoning the perversions of the council and the indiscriminate killings, all this made it hard to like them. Even when the pack finally get their omega the don’t actually do anything to help of support her. The author introduces them as this strong group of deadly men but they turn out to be the opposite. They actively bring her into danger and deliver her up to her enemies leaving her to fend for herself. They do nothing to fight back and at every turn allow their fathers’ and the other heirs to behave horribly instead of just killing them or holding them to account. Heroes and strong, protective alphas they are not.

The climax of the Duet with the big showdown is absurd and unbelievable and most of the despicable villains are left without any comeuppance to continue living their twisted lives and retain their places on the council, even proven murderers – seriously? What’s that about? The author does not even bother to explain why. The author also seemed to think it was a great idea to bring all the characters that had done the MCs wrong together and have them all bear their souls or get some comeuppance. These were characters that had been briefly mentioned before in the books but who the reader didn’t really care about. As for the denouement of what happened to the FC’s family, I am still completely unclear as to exactly what the author was trying to say happened to them other than that they were probably dead. Was all this intended to be dramatic? Maybe it was just the author’s attempt to add a bit of interest and pad out the book? Why focus on redemption/punishment of these meaningless characters yet leave the real villains unaddressed? This section added nothing to the story and the reader is left wondering what the Monarch and his henchman were doing during the time all the others were catching up with their pasts except apparently politely waiting to pop up when everyone had finished their individual chats. The Monarch, being the main villain of the story, had, by this point, been made into some old fashioned, moustache twirling caricature who somehow inexplicably knows all and sees all and the MCs are apparently bullet proof.

In summary, this Duet started strong but ended up being frustrating and pointless with little romance, weak MCs and a completely unsatisfying ending.

I liked this book I just felt like a lot of it didn't make sense - I kept getting confused about what was happening and all the intricacies of the world building. There's so many things going on with the council and the heirs and the designations and I felt like I never really understood what was going on.

In this omegaverse - omegas are sent to the castle when they perfume where they are trained to be good little omegas for future packs. Audrey escapes the night before she's meant to be chosen by a pack and meets her fated mate.

I always like an omegaverse. They are entertaining, this book wasn’t bad but I got frustrated because a lot of the times I didn’t understand who was talking or what they were talking about.

It was frustrating and even though I went back and reread it I still didn’t understand WTH was going on. Or even sometimes one character was explaining something and then the other cut it off with an “I know” and I was like: yeah, but I don’t so explain yourself.

Three stars because I’m a sucker for omegaverse and Riot was a great character. But dialogue and storytelling sometimes was a mess.

I'm so glad Elle Lincoln has decided to try her hand at omegaverse. These are some of my favorite types of books and I absolutely loved what Lincoln did with this book. Not only did she do the more common alpha, beta, omega designations, but also delta and gamma as well. It added such variety and depth to the characters, especially as you got to understand the hierarchy that their world is controlled by. This hierarchy is important because it shows just how different and unique our main group of characters is, treating each other as equals, supporting and loving one another, and trying to right the wrongs that the current leaders have done behind closed doors. Sebastian, Hawk, Atlas, and Riot prove that people can be more than their destination.

The fmc, Audrey, was such an amazing character as well. I loved how rebellious she was when living in Castle Omega, testing boundaries here and there, and even more as she got her taste of freedom after escaping. Hiding her omega designation was probably the best thing that ever happened to her. It allowed her to live, even if only for a year. Even if she had to be careful about certain things, she still got to experience life as any person should, regardless of whether they are an alpha, delta, beta, omega, or gamma. It was great to see how much her character really flourished and developed as she came into her own, growing a backbone and some confidence as well. Her year of freedom brought her reliable, ride-or-die friends as well as gave her the right mental and emotional foundation she needed for the rest of her journey. The Audrey of one year ago probably wouldn't have been able to cope with everything that the present Audrey had to do in this book and what she will have to continue to endure in the next book.

This book, unlike a lot of other omegaverse books, is more of a slower burn, but I liked that Lincoln chose to go that route with her characters. It allowed actual bonds to form and for the characters to get to know one another beyond how they reacted to each other's pheromones or presence. Audrey was able to make her own choices regarding what she was ready to experience with them and they never actually pushed her into something she wasn't willing to do. If it were any other pack, things would have gone completely different for her. After all, she was taught to be the perfect omega, expected to comply and avert her eyes, to not speak out, and to listen to her alphas. Sebastian, Hawk, Atlas, and Riot, although they did dote on her and were overly protective, they allowed her to have a voice and treated her how they would any other pack member. It may have taken them a lot longer than planned to find her, but Audrey was lucky that this pack was the one that did. If things went any other way, she could have ended up like so many omegas before her for acting out and resisting.

This book, even though it touched on more sensitive topics and had ongoing action packed and terrifying moments, was still full of hilarious inner dialogue and witty banter. It was such a fun story to read and I'm dying to see what happens next with Audrey and her pack after where we were left with the cliffhanger with Sin. Like always, Lincoln's side characters also end up shining just as much as the main characters, so I am very much hoping to see Mila, Nat, and Sera get their own stories as well after Audrey's is completed.

Highly recommend Audrey by Elle Lincoln. I love Elle’s different take on Omegaverse. She added deltas and gammas, designations that are normally seen in shifter books but not so much In Omegaverse. Very glad about this, especially with the deltas because of one name, Riot.
The book starts off with Audrey escaping from the castle after uncovering a secret. While escaping she meets a special someone who helps her get free. For the next year, She gets to live a life away from the castle thanks to the friends she meets. Until everything starts to fall apart and now after a year of being gone, she is wanted by the castle. Luckly she meets her mates around this time. Audrey and her mates do not automatically mate and claim each other. I loved that they wanted to wait until she was ready and for a more solid bond to form between them. I loved that but it also caused me some stress and kept me on the edge of my seat. Since the longer an omega goes unclaimed, the higher the chances another pack takes her.
Audrey’s inner dialog had me laughing and her smart mouth made me happy. I appreciate when the FMC isn’t afraid to speak her mind and give some push. This book does end on an emotional cliff hanger and hopefully Elle won’t make us wait too long for the next book. I can’t say this enough but this take on Omegaverse is so good and the book is worth every laugh, every angry sigh and every sad smile. Almost forgot to mention the smut is fan yourself worthy, it is hot!

Wow

This book had traits of other omega verses but Elle made this one her own. I really enjoyed it actually. It was a multiple POV’s, that created an emotional bond between each character. I loved reading how each one felt and interacted with each other. There are a few blind spots spoken about like it was common when there was no mention. I really liked Mila as a character. She’s a mage but is she also an omega? She stirs up a lot of questions. Are omegas also magical like a mage? I liked reading about Rey as she was blindly naive in the beginning…. Then it skips a year and she’s hardened. Rey continues to accept and moves on as part of her new normal. Rey falls for her men as they do her. Although I didn’t particularly like who wishy washy she is about getting her mating mark. She’s in love with them, gushes about them, worries and cares for them, knows and has verbally accepted them as her own, first and foremost she feels safe with them as soon as she met them. The emotions written show how in love she is but becomes this skittish omega at the mention of the bite. The consequences of her choosing to wait are disastrous. I need to know what’s next. The summary really didn’t do the book justice.

I absolutely loved Riot. The guy was a hoot and I loved how he was all in for Audrey. I also liked Atlas. I found Riot and Atlas to be very interesting and wished the story focused more on them. I also felt that they had way more chemistry with Audrey than Sebastian and Hawk did. Their threesome moments were so much hotter than Audrey's threesome moments with Sebastian and Hawk. She even felt left out for a hot second when she was with the latter.

I personally didn't care for Sebastian and Hawk especially after their sexcapade in Audrey's bedroom. I hated how they had to remind each other that Audrey wouldn't ruin their relationship and that they would always have each other's first. I found it hard to believe that they even liked Audrey considering how they were constantly all over each other. I felt like their relationship with Audrey was forced and I hated how they dictated Audrey's time and attention. It was annoying that Sebastian had "rights" to her simply because he was the leader/prince especially when it seemed like he liked her the least.

I have a definite love for Omegaverse. What I love about this book is it adds more designations and changes the dynamics of normal Omegaverse. Adding the gammas and deltas gives another layer to the story and the world building. (Deltas are awesome!)
The characters are interesting. I clicked with Audrey's pack more than Audrey herself at the beginning. As the story goes on she becomes stronger as a character, but in the beginning she plays the part of a spoiled Omega well.
The author did a great job with the plot it keeps moving and twisting as it goes. In the beginning, I felt it was a bit repetitive and the characters dialogue was choppy.
It will be interesting to see what Audrey's mates will do to prove themselves in the next book and how she continues to grow.

So I really love the premise of this but it lacks coherent world building. Or there are gaps in the world. I find that the 'big conversations' that offer reveals are often confusing and therefore don't fully answer the questions. I will read the next in the series because I do really like the characters but there is something just missing.

Some of the answers may come later, but I have ended this book both eager to read on and confused as to people's motivations and rationale. The big fight at the end clearly was meant to be a trap in some way but I'm not clear really on its point. So all in, I'm just a bit confused but willing to read on because I enjoy the characters.

This review may read as confused. It's because I am.

Audrey escaped from Castle Omega after witnessing her friend die. As she was escaping, Riot, one of her fated mates finds her and helps her escape, while promising to find her in a years time. Riot brings his pack, Sebastian, Atlas and Hawk with him to help find Audrey. Once the group is together they hide out for a week until their safe house is compromised and they have to return to the Council in the city. Atlas is set up by the other Council heirs and during a fight between Atlas and the heirs, Sin (another heir) kidnaps Audrey and asks for her help to save the other Omegas still at Castle Omega. A great cliffhanger leading into book 2.

This book is very disjointed. Confusing in its leaping around and lack of depth at crucial points.

The author doesn’t explain how they got from A to E. She just jumps missing B,C and D. It ruins some of the biggest confrontations and climaxes of the book.

Very. Very. Frustrating.

Could have been a five star but it’s lacking continuity is extremely annoying at the critical times. Want to drop it to a 2.

Also, although I like some MM and MMF, this felt more like she was the intruder. Which is repulsive to me. She should be the centre of their world and maybe in some very thought out cases and equal. In this it feels like she is not even second for Bast and Hawk.

Audrey (Castle Omega book one) by Elle Lincoln is the first in a new series. We meet Audrey, an Omega living at Castle Omega. She sees something that she shouldn't see and as she's fleeing - fate steps in and gives her a nudge. But she proves to be one tough FMC who enjoys her freedom and makes friends who help her survive. When her pack finds her - Riot, Bast, Atlas, and Hawk - it gets tough again. This ends on a cliffhanger - UGH Sin! Can't wait to read the next one - I must know what happens. Great read.

I really enjoyed this slightly new take on Omegaverse. The additional designations of Deltas and Gammas was unique and interesting. ( I especially love the Deltas um, cough, cough, Riot….yum) While I appreciated that Audrey and her pack were hesitant to jump into bonding and chose to get to know each other first, I was also torn because I am dying for the special peen spice!! One word for you, barbed😉 This book had me biting my nails throughout and I can’t wait to get the next book! This one does end on a cliffhanger.

Audrey’s trials

Never been much of an omegaverse fan but after reading this, I’m a convert. Audrey is sassy, strong and trying so hard to lead an independent life outside of society’s archaic constraints, hiding in plain sight until the Council finds her at the same time as her mates and the world turns topsy turvy. When everything looks like it’s crumbling, the presence of an ‘ally’ proves detrimental to her safety and sets her mates on the warpath. Solid 4 stars and looking forward to book two. Highly recommend.

Fab omegaverse story

So many secrets and lies! Great story, I can't wait for the next part of Audrey's destiny. Also Sera's! The mm in this was so hot, in fact possibly hotter than the mf! Wish that there had been a bit more knotting and group activities, but get why it didn't fit into the narrative. It was a shame that Bast didn't realise he was Audrey's first and nothing was made of it. I do need to know what happens next.

Audrey

I think I came across this author from an anthology I recently read. I really enjoyed the story in that so I wanted to try some of her other titles available. I liked the storyline and characters. I liked the different designations the author used. But I guess these kinds of omega/omegaverse aren't exactly what I'm looking for. I'll continue the series to see if things pick up for me.

OMG, Omegaverse

This first book in this series was so fantastic that I’m jumping right into the next one, like right now.

The storyline had twists and turns that kept me turning page after page. The alpha, beta and delta characters are crazy hot as hades and the chemistry between them and their omega was off the charts.

This book and series is a definite must read and ends in one heck of a cliffhanger, so be prepared.
