He released a sound, deep inside, part growl, part acquiescence. “Ruby Jane. You are going to be the death of me.”
“No. Not anymore. I’ve learned my lesson.”
He cocked his head.
Maybe because yes, she’d said that before, but this time — “I never again want to look out into the dark sky and wonder where you are, and if you’re alive. Never want to be more than a phone call away from you. Never want to think that you might…might think that I don’t love you.”
He blinked. Then, finally, finally, he smiled. And it was sunshine, right to her soul.
“Do you…do you still have my ring?”
He nodded and reached into the front pocket of his jeans.
How it remained untarnished, she hadn’t a clue, but there it was, still gorgeous. A beautiful vintage two carat white gold solitaire, with tiny diamonds in the cradle.
“York —”
“Just put it on your finger and keep it there.”
“You’re so bossy.” But she held out her hand for him to put it on her finger.
“I should put a tracker in it.”
She looked at him. “No need. I’m not going anywhere.”
He smiled again, a softness in his eyes that made her want to weep. “Not without me, you’re not.”

The woman he loves has vanished…

When RJ Marshall said she’d be right back, York should have objected. No, he wasn’t going to let her run off to Berlin, even if it was to save a little girl.

Only problem—she’d told him this while he was unconscious. So really, it doesn’t count, and it’s not his fault that she’s gone missing. And, he didn’t know why he expected RJ not to chase danger into trouble. But now he has to find her before criminal mastermind Alan Martin tracks her down.

She’s in over her head…

RJ didn’t mean to leave York behind, but she’s on a mission to save a little girl caught in the crossfire of Martin’s terrorist plot. Now, she’ll have to find the girl and keep her safe while leaving clues for York to follow her.

But who will catch up to her first—York, or the man with a vendetta?

The gripping romantic adventure continues across Europe in this second installment of the Epic Story of RJ and York!

I can't help be amazed at the gifts God has delighted me with - a wonderful husband, four amazing children, and the opportunity to write for Him.

I've been writing as long as I can remember - I won my first book writing contest in first grade! Over the years, writing has become, for me, a way to praise God and see Him at work in my life.

Although I have a degree in Mass Communications from the University of MN, my real writing experience started when I penned the The Warren Report - a bi-monthly newsletter that detailed our ministry highlights.

Living in Russia meant I never lacked for great material - and those experiences naturally spilled out first into devotionals and magazine articles and finally into my first published story, "Measure of a Man," in the Tyndale/HeartQuest, Chance Encounters of the Heart anthology.

Susan and husbandI grew up in Wayzata, a suburb of Minneapolis, and became an avid camper from an early age. My favorite fir-lined spot is the north shore of Minnesota - it's where I met my husband, honeymooned and dreamed of living. The north woods easily became the foundation for my first series, The Deep Haven series.based on a little tourist town along the shores of Lake Superior. I have to admit - I'm terribly jealous of Mona, the heroine of my first full-length book, Happily Ever After, a Christy Award Finalist published in 2004 with Tyndale/Heartquest.

Our family moved home from the mission field in June 2004 -- and now we live in the beautiful town I'd always dreamed of! God has amazed me anew with His provision, and blessings -- and allowed me a season when I can write full time for Him.

I 'm delighted you've stopped in to visit. My hope is that you'll be blessed and encouraged by soul-stirring stories of regular people interacting with a God who loves them.

I'd love to hear from you! I love getting mail, especially from readers and I welcome your questions and comments. Write to me at susan@susanmaywarren.com. You know how when a trilogy is one continuous story, how the weakest link is usually the second book? It's when everything is darkest and never ends up being everyone's favorite of the set. (Why yes, I am looking at you, The Two Towers).

Well that's not true here. The title alone made me nervous, like WHAT DID RJ DO NOW?! But actually this one had a reprieve from the go-go of the spy activities. The characters get to breathe and grow their relationship and talk about putting God back at the center of everything. And best of all- the surprise appearance of a well-loved place and people. IYKYK. So as worried as I was about RJ's character arc in the first book, Susan May Warren totally eased those fears with this one. It was refreshing and enjoyable and yet kept the intrigue up on every page.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

'You don't have to have special skills to be a hero. You just have to do what's right, despite the cost.'

Wow!!! I could put dozens of exclamation points behind that word. This books is that good. Seriously. If you've not read any of Susan May Warren's books, you do not know what you are missing. This series plays off her Montana Marshalls series, particularly the story of Ruby Jane. Ruby Jane, RJ, to everyone, and her wonderful fella, York, have gotten their own series here and it is outstanding!

Warren has created a powerful story for these two, who will just absolutely worm their way right down deep in your heart. Their love is epic, just as the secondary title says. But they also attract danger like a magnet. RJ in particular attracts danger. Wait. She kinda, sorta runs towards it. And then York has to rescue her. And let me tell you, that the danger here will keep you on the edge of your seat with your heart jerking out of your chest.

There is so much to love here. I read it in one day, could barely tear myself away to make supper for my husband. I am a forever fan of Susan May Warren and with each book she writes, that solidifies even more. Well done!

My thanks to the publisher for a copy of this book. The opinion in this review is entirely my own.

York awakens to find that RJ has vanished, she left him while he was unconscious to rescue a little girl from the crossfire.

Picking up from the cliffhanger in the previous book, RJ finds herself over her head and out of her element, while York is desperately trying to find her before the terrorist Alan Martin does. I loved that addition of Ziggy and how meeting helps RJ put her own life into perspective as well.

A thrilling addition to the series, with a special cameo from another popular Christian fiction series! The cliffhangers made it nearly impossible to put down!

Thoroughly enjoyed this installment. Even more than the first which was a fun read. I loved how the author placed a third of this book inside Rachel Hauck‘s fairytale kingdoms. Such fun to be back with those Royals. And it fit so well for the story. The authors are best friends and it shows in the seamless way Susan‘s characters interact with Rachel‘s. Now on to book three.

While the action picks up right where it left off in the previous book, I especially loved the strong faith message that I found woven throughout. Secondary characters Ziggy and Roy add depth and influence RJ's perspective in good ways, and a dual timeline story brought another dimension to the story. It's inspiring to see how these characters are still developing and growing, showing that it is a lifelong process that we are continually seeking to change and grow closer to God. The epic adventure with danger and suspense doesn't slow down, and I can't wait to read the next book and see how it all wraps up!

The adventure continues in this book two of RJ and York's story. This series must be read in order! You'll be on the edge of your seat the whole way through but wow, what a ride! Hang on because this book is a doozy and will lead you right into the third book which thankfully, will bring the conclusion you will be so desperate for!

If ever a book could leave you goofy smiling from happiness, while simultaneously frantic for the next installment because you must know what happens next, this is the book. Goodness. Of her many strengths, it is Susan’s ability to make me as a reader feel for her characters, care about them in a deep way that stands out. So much going on in this book here, so much I can’t speak to specifically without risking spoiling the fun, but wow. Talk about giving her readers what they want in a big, over the top, is this really happening amazing kind of way! The Rachel Hauck “Easter egg” is incredible. That cross over of worlds was just so much fun.

Okay wow that ending!! I'm not over that.

Y'all this book is crazy, and the best part is it didn't even suffer the second book syndrome - which, for those who don't know, is when the second book in a trilogy flops because it relies to heavily on drama to move the plot forwards from book 1 to book 3.

RJ has improved so much more since book 1 and I can safely say her character is growing on me. Everything about this book is intense and crazy and insane, and I am so so so glad I have book 3 right beside me so I can read it asasp.

Content Notes
It's a Susie May Warren novel. The romance matches the intensity of literally everything else in this book. But thankfully, it's also seamlessly integrated into all the spy-action-thriller stuff, instead of slowing things down.

My thoughts: I Will Find You is the second book in this epic adventure series and it does NOT stand alone. Fans must read RJ of the Marshall series, and the these follow-up books in order. Warning: this book might have some heat and it might not have a happy ending, but then all great novels end with a tragedy, right? There is some drinking too... The adventure held my interest but I had to tak, e a two book break from the collection and read something calmer before diving in to the third book and the conclusion....maybe. Fans of SMW will want to read these three novellas and plan their own trip to ... okay, maybe they would rather stay safe at home and be an arm-chair adventurer. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own

My review of Out of the Night by Susan May Warren mentions a lot of action. Well, Warren upped the suspense in I Will Find You. I don’t see how York and RJ can survive all the struggles that Warren puts these through in this book. Bombs. Knife fights. Kidnappings. Just a few to entice reader’s interest. The romance keeps heating up from the first book in the series. Some surprises are coming to readers. With this book, I definitely want to purchase a paperback copy and keep the book on my shelf. Plenty of action and a hunt for the correct amount of searching for the love and if it is truly worth it. The story ended in another cliff-hanger that will leave readers asking for more. I Will Find You by Susan May Warren is a high-octane suspense novel with tons of actions and a sweet, romantic romance worth staying for through the whole novel. Highly recommend this novel. I can’t wait to see what struggles that Warren puts RJ and York through in No Matter the Cost.

I Will Find You by Susan May Warren is the second book in The Epic Story Of RJ And York series. It is a marvellous tale following on the heels of book one which you need to read first.
The book is an epic adventure suspense as the action moves from Germany to Italy and beyond to a fantasy island off the coast of England and found in Rachel Hauck’s novels about the house of blue. There are bullets to dodge and disasters to escape from as the actions heats up to red hot!
The characters are brave and daring as they face whatever comes their way. They have a duty to protect and to seek out perpetrators.
Simmering alongside the action are two love stories – one in present day and one in the past. The characters realise the importance of having God in their marriage as a chord of three strands is not easily broken.
As life becomes more unsure, the characters realise the importance of trust – trusting each other and trusting God.
Book two ends with a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to continue the action in book three.

Book two picks up right after the cliffhanger of book one and plummets the reader into more international intrigue and danger that just won't let up! Yet, in between hiding and fighting for their lives, the author weaves York and RJ's romance into the pages with some truly beautiful moments for the two of them.

There were so many things I loved about this novel, including snippets from the historical biography that RJ was reading. That epic love story from history added even more depth to RJ and York's own circumstances.

I really liked the way the team that formed in this story worked together. They had many dangerous situations to get themselves out of. I will find you ends in a cliffhanger that will lead directly into book three, No Matter the Cost. I am so anxious to find out what happens next!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

A good second installment! RJ and York catch a bit more of a break in this one, it seems, with a bit less shoot-'em-up action to keep them on their toes. Of books #1 and #2, I would definitely say this is the book that gives the hero and heroine some "wins" as it were, to keep the pace from feeling unrealistically intense. Though, if I'm being honest, I would have liked a bit more action--the pace at times felt a bit mellow, when compared with book #1 and when we know that they have a lot stacked against them in the way of catching the bad guys.

The middle, subplot story line with Ziggy's family's story didn't really fit, if I'm being honest. I just didn't see the total value that brought to the book as a whole. There were also a good number of typos throughout the book--something I don't normally point out as it doesn't usually impact the quality of the story, but after a while they became more distracting and noticeable.

Overall, a good second installment and I'm looking forward to book #3--especially after that cliffhanger of an ending!

Wow! I have literally been left gasping!! The rollercoaster ride continues in this second instalment of RJ & York’s follow up series - and what a rollercoaster it is! Non-stop action that will keep you turning pages with just the right amount of fairy tale vibes mixed in. Honestly, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll desperately keep turning pages until the very end… and that ending!!!! Shocked is an understatement!!! I’m still reeling!! Absolute must-read, and the best part is that it’s short enough to read in one sitting! But consider yourself warned, it definitely ends on a serious cliffhanger!!!! Good thing there’s not long to wait between instalments!!!! Can’t wait to read book 3!!!!

Well, well, well....this story just gets more intense throughout this 3 book series and I AM HERE FOR IT!!

This book definitely takes on more of a romantic edge than the previous book did. You also get a dual timeline in this book that mirrors RJ and York's relationship. I loved the royal aspects of this one and the setting descriptions are out of this world!

Every aspect of book 1 was upped in this one. The suspense, the mystery and even the romance. This is a book you need to make sure you have cleared your schedule for because you will not be putting it down until it's finished... I can promise you that!

Content: mild violence, dual timeline of marriage consummation (no explicit details, but in one instance it does mention a dress dropping to the floor-nothing after that). The Christianity aspect of this trilogy went up just a bit in this book, but still very slight and complimentary instead of overpowering.

Thanks to the author for the copy. All thoughts in this review are my own.

The Epic Story of RJ and York is a thrilling series that will take the reader from one exotic European location to the next. The characters face many challenges as they seek to outwit the dangerous Alan Martin.

Readers of Susan May Warren's book will be delighted to see how the story of RJ and York overlaps with some of her other series including the Montana Marshalls and the Sky King Ranch.
Woven through it all is RJ and York’s love story. And it's beautiful. York’s love for RJ leaped off the pages and reminded me of the love of Christ for humanity. York pursued RJ across Europe in much the same way God pursues us.

I loved how this book pick off right where we left off in the first book and that York and RJ were trying to find their way back to each other. I loved how they had a brief respite at the Italian villa and how the story that was shared helped RJ to reevaluate what she really wanted. I liked that there was still adventure and they were still trying to stop the plot and figure out who was behind it but they had a few moments to relax. It definitely had a surprise ending.

York and RJ's epic story continues in I Will Find You, and somehow it just keeps getting better.

York has lost her...again. And this time he's not sure if he can keep going on like this; constantly chasing after the woman he loves. In her efforts to save a little girl, RJ finds herself double-crossed and on the run in Italy, far from York's hospital room. This time, she's accompanied by little Hana and her new friend Ziggy. The beautiful villa that Ziggy calls home seems to be the perfect spot to breathe and wait for York to find her. Because he promised he would always find her, no matter what.

I loved this novel. While it was still fast-paced with plenty of suspense and excitement, we also got to see RJ and York slow down (just) a little and reevaluate not only their relationship but also their relationships with their Heavenly Father. RJ finally has some character growth and begins to see that maybe she could still have a fulfilling life without a dangerous, high-risk career, as long as York is by her side. There's a lot more romance in this one than the first, in my opinion, with plenty of twists and turns to keep readers guessing at what's coming next. There's also a heart-wrenching side story looking back at Ziggy's grandmother's memoir and the history of the villa. I enjoyed every moment of this story, and couldn't wait to see where the third book took RJ and York. It's a good thing all three books are being released so close together, because I'm sure I'm not the only one who needed to binge-read them!

"Maybe this is normal life, for you. But more, who says we ever get to hop off the carousel? Life keeps turning, and sure, you might take a break, but the fact is, when we're in the employ of the Lord, we get back on, keep fighting the good fight. And not everyone's fight looks like ours, no, but the journey is a struggle for everyone. Life is meant to be easy. It's meant to be something that makes us cling to God."

RJ and York are continuing to make their way across Europe to try to solve what is really happening and why certain people seem to be after them. The travel scenes definitely seem accurate. There is a nice blend of action, adventure and romance.

This book had a part that is unique to many Susan May Warren books. Part of the storyline involved a split timeline story set back during World War 2. Because this title is mostly set in Italy, the historic story is about one how family works to save their vineyard and to save each other from the Nazi regime. Although the historic characters were not necessarily connected directly to the main characters, I still feel like this part really added to the book. Both groups of people were trying to do the right thing and trying to rise to the occasion.

I absolutely loved the covers of this series. And I really enjoyed this second book, in fact, it might be my favorite one of the three. In my opinion, read the whole series all at once to fully enjoy it. While this book is in the middle of the "epic story" trilogy, there were plenty of enjoyable parts.

This series should be read in order, or you will miss major events! So please go and read Out of the Night (The Epic Story of RJ and York #1) by Susan May Warren before reading this one.

The Epic Story of RJ and York picks up where the Montana Marshall series and Global Search and Rescue series end so it will be best to have read those series first, however the author does recaps on the highlights to get new readers caught up.

I thought book one, Out of the Night was great, but this one had me even more invested! In this book I could just feel York's internal struggle about wanting to leave the action and spy world behind, fearing of losing RJ, but also wondering if he should let RJ go.

There was a lot of breath holding moments, especially at the end of chapters, which made it difficult to think about closing the book for sleep or just normal life. I had so many thoughts and feelings while reading this installment, which is evident of great writing. And all the suspects!

I enjoyed the spy Ziggy and the historical scenes about her family and hope she and Roy will have a HEA.

It ends in a cliffhanger so have the final book ready!

If you enjoy audiobooks, you should not skip these audiobooks, because it is the best audios I have listened to. The narrator Adam Gold has the most beautiful deep voice, delivers the telling brilliantly and the added spy affects just adds to an entertaining read.

The Epic Story of RJ and York is a trilogy but you're going to read it like one giant book because where one ends another begins! Let's dive in!

First.  If you've not read The Montana Marshalls series you're going to want to read those.  While you can read this series without that backstory you're going to want the backstory.  The Montana Marshalls cover the lives of all the Marshall siblings one of which is Ruby Jane.  And you want to know Ruby's story before you meet her in this series.  Trust me.  While this trilogy does try to provide you with the bare bones so you can follow along it's not going to be enough!

There is never going to be enough of these guys!  Okay, so maybe I'm biased!  Also yes this really is so exciting that I have to use all these exclamation marks.

I Will Find You

Start onto book two in the trilogy.  You're going to want to start it the second you finish book one.  I have to say that this trilogy had me captivated and I just wanted to read it until I was finished.  I hated having to put it down and take breaks!

This book starts off with RJ leaving York in the hospital.  He's unconscious and she says that she will be right back.  She's not sure if he hears her or not but she's sure she can do this mission and be right back the next day.  Only, she didn't count on being stabbed in the back by someone she thought she could trust.  Someone she thought was on her side.  Thank goodness for Ziggy having her back for real!

But can they protect the girl and keep themselves safe while getting back to York?  Can they figure out who is behind this all?  And can they survive?

And why does her cousin keep showing up?

You're going to love love love this book and the series.  RJ tugs at my heart and I love watching her and York grow in their relationship as well as in themselves and their abilities.

I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from JustRead Publicity Tours. All views expressed are only my honest opinion. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. All opinions expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC regulations.

Suspense from beginning to end as York and RJ crisscross Europe trying to reunite. I loved the action and the tension. Beautiful settings. The characters are quite memorable. And I loved the surprise visit by another author's characters! I think this may be my favorite Susan May Warren book yet! Although I can't wait for the conclusion of their epic adventure in No Matter The Cost!

I suggest you block off your weekend, get your snacks and beverages ready and turn your phone off, then binge read all 3 books in RJ and York's epic adventure!

All thought's are my own.

I Will Find You
The Epic Story of York and RJ #2
By Susan May Warren

RJ Marshall promised York she'd be back - gone for just a few hours at the most. But then she'd never expected to have her "mission" go so wrong and find herself on the run with a young girl. But will York understand that she hadn't wanted to leave him behind? That she wants the life that he dreams of, one that leaves behind his past?

As York works to find RJ he learns that he has become a target. And he is worth a huge payday to someone, who will stop at nothing until he is dead.

RJ's talent for finding trouble drives York to distraction. RJ is the woman he wants to marry and enjoy a normal life with. There is just one problem somehow RJ always seems to attract trouble. Yes, she sees threats and manages to thwart whatever is coming, but she needs rescuing and York is always there for her. But what happens when he isn't there?

I Will Find You is the second book in The Epic Story of RJ and York series. There seems to be almost non-stop danger and excitement until the shocking conclusion that you don't want to miss. Be sure to read the series in order. as it builds to its surprising conclusion.

I was provided a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations but that I offer my honest opinion - all thoughts expressed are my own.

Betrayal and secrets threaten them...

The international intrigue continues in I Will Find You as readers are taken on a wild ride across Europe. Trust me, when I use the word intrigue because this story is nothing but! The addition of a historical thread that ties in was unexpected but worked perfectly. My biggest problem with this book? How could Susan May Warren leave me hanging like that at the end?! Good thing I have the next book in this series because after this one I am most definitely desperate to read it...

I am so glad that this series released at the same time, since then I didn't have to wait to pick this book up! The first one leaves off with York in bad shape and RJ on a mission to (she hopes) finish things up quickly. But, life never quite goes as one plans, and she is forced to figure out who she can trust and how to get out of a jam, all while trying to figure out what is really going on. Another fast paced story!

I Will Find You is the second installment in The Epic Story of RJ and York series and it’s fantastic. The mystery introduced in Out of the Night continues, and while there are more chases and lots of suspense, this novel gives readers more romance. The love story that began in the Montana Marshalls series reaches a pivotal moment that is totally swoon-worthy. And, this focus on the romance gives readers a chance to catch their breaths – until the end. There’s a cliffhanger in this one, so be prepared. The writing is superb as usual. Does Susan May Warren ever write a less than fabulous story? No. And, RJ and York fans will find this very satisfying. I received an advance read copy for review, but I’ll be ordering the paperback as soon as I can.

I'm going to review all three in the RJ and York series at once, because you must read all three. I'm such a fan of Ruby Jane, and getting to have a new series with York and RJ is epic! Out of the Night gives fans what they've been waiting for - York's proposal. But of course it's ruined when York's past comes back to haunt him. Not to mention RJ's need to prove herself as a spy.

In I Will Find You, York tracks down RJ as she attempts to uncover a major conspiracy. And once he finds RJ, York is never letting go. I love the second installment the most!

In No Matter the Cost the story concludes with RJ trying to find York. Even though she witnessed his death, she isn't convinced that he's gone forever.

I definitely recommend the entire series. Read them in order and enjoy all of the adventure, epic settings, and romance that Susan May Warren brings to every story.

If you have not read any books by Susan May Warren, you need to start now! As my very favorite action-filled romantic suspense author, Susan May Warren’s books keep readers fully invested in her storylines and her characters feel like friends who readers will wish they could meet in real life.

I Will Find You, the second installment in The Epic Story of RJ and York, begins where the cliffhanger in book one ended. This international story of intrigue, unending love, and devotion to one’s country is one that readers will not want to miss!

This book is not a stand alone, and it is also recommended to read The Montana Marshalls series prior to this series. With more romance and even appearances from royalty in I Will Find You, it seems like RJ and York will finally get their happy ending, but disaster strikes again! Pick up a copy of this series today to follow their international journey! Another cliffhanger at the end will leave readers anxious to read the thrilling conclusion to this trilogy.

I Will Find You is highly recommended for readers of action-filled romantic suspense.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author/publisher and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.
