Anna Fury writes the best steamy scenes and I feel like this would have rocked had it been a full length novel.

What a fun short read!
Liv has had a crush on park ranger Thatcher ever since she stepped foot in their tiny town. Too bad he seems to be all business whenever he stops by the pharmacy where she works and picks up his prescription.
Well, Thatcher has not actually needed those pills since he became an Alpha, but he fills his script anyway just to get a glance at the beautiful and voluptuous pharmacist.
Will these two ever get the courage to admit to their mutual attraction?
Thatcher and Liv are adorable. Anna Fury does a fantastic job of introducing an already established and tension-filled connection. We immediately felt the pining between the two main characters, and it wonderfully transitioned into this highly charged exchange that eventually ignites into super-hot and sexy scenes.
This novella was originally featured in two episodes of the Read Me Romance podcast. It is the perfect amuse-bouche to Anna Fury's Omegaverse world. If your appetite for more Alphas craves more, I highly recommend jumping into the Alpha Compound series.

Short and steamy MF omegaverse where the H and h have known each other for a couple of years and been attracted to each other. The H held back because of an age gap and thinking the h would want to move beyond where they are. The h finally makes a move on him right before a snow storm moves in.
I felt like this could have been more, but it was still an interesting quick read. Lots of talk about alphas/omegas and a bond, but the knotting is off page. There was a scene with the H using a toy at the h's request, which was different. There's also one scene of danger that left me with several practical questions and I didn't think added to the story. HFN ending. The story is written in first person, dual POV. No ow/om drama, neither were virgins, and bc not discussed.

Perfectly Short & Sweet
If this isn’t the cutest cinnamon roll couple I’ve ever read. Anna killed it with this short story & I need about 100 more please :)
Liv & Thatcher have been crushing on each other for ages and finally someone makes a move. 😍 The itty bitty titty plot was so well done & of course the spice was perfect (Alpha Thatcher is definitely not a cinnamon roll in bed) 🤭🖤 I am also now craving a bucket of chocolate chip cookies 🍪
Definitely recommend this if you are curious about omegaverse and want a quick taste of it. You’ll quickly be down the rabbit hole after this 🤭🖤🖤

I listened to this book on the read me romance podcast.
I haven't heard of this series before and I did find it interesting. I did feel like i had a missed a few things but as a standalone it was great.

This book follows Thatcher and Liv. Thatcher is a Park Ranger and Liv is a Pharmacist in town. We learn early on that they’re known each other for 3 years and have both been hiding their attraction to each other (as much as they could). In this book we get to see them trying to build on that pre-existing attraction.
I highly enjoyed this book. I love Thatcher and Liv together. Thatcher is a gentle loving alpha outside the bedroom and dominating and possessive inside it. In other words (imo) he’s the perfect man. 😉 Liv is sweet and caring. Together they definitely bring the heat.
I actually think it would be a good starting book for someone new to the omegaverse world. All the authors do things a little different but you will get the gist of what omegaverse is about.

Liv and Thatcher were so sweet and wonderful together and I really loved all the teasing and tension. Their relationship definitely went from zero to one hundred fast. But what a fantastic match they were! Liv is so caring and sassy. And Thatcher might be a cinnamon roll, but when it comes to passion, he’s as hot, dominant, possessive and absolutely irresistible as any Alpha.
Overall, Alpha Ranger is a fantastic short, sweet and spicy age-gap story and I absolutely loved every page of it!

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: My only gripe is that I want more, so that's a good sign. This was short and sweet. No pretences. As the couple in the book says, 0 to 60 in no time. I can't wait until the next series comes out, so this was a great little reminder of how well Anna Fury writes smut in the meantime.

Alpha Ranger is a standalone short story inside the Alpha Compound series world by Anna Fury. Liv is a pharmacist working on a drugstore in Madrugada Springs where Thatcher is the only ranger.
He was already in love with Liv even before becoming an Alpha and their attraction only took a turn to scorching hot after the change.
This was just the perfect snack for someone that likes to read Omegaverse and, like me, loves Anna's alphas and omegas. The story was also portrayed at the Read Me Romance Podcast episodes 174.1 and 174.2, so I was able to listen all the growl and heat on Thatcher's voice and I can safely say that it was a zero to sixty delicious ride.

This short story set in the Alpha Compound universe was a fun and spicy PWP.
However, I had to detract a star for a glaring continuity error.
The MMC removes the FMC's shirt, remarking on her bra and the way her breasts look filling it out. A few paragraphs later and it said he came all over the bottom of her shirt and he had to help her take it off, and wondered if she was wearing undergarments.
The fact that this is a short story, PWP, only 45 pages long and that mistake made it through the chain of command to be published for sale is a big OOF. It throws the reader completely out of the moment.
This short is not indicative of the quality of the author's other works, so take it with a grain of salt.

Sweet but hot hot hot
Ahhh Anna Fury never disappoints. This is a sweet short story. I actually think its an incredible introduction to how the mating bond works in the omegaverse world. (Each author does it slightly differently but this seems universal and a good place for newbies to see how it works).
Thatcher and Liv... so lovely, so sweet, such gorgeous writing on the alpha dominance and hot hot hot. Just read it. And then watch yourself tumble into the world of Anna Fury's omegaverse.

I'm going to be honest I was SO excited about this on the Read Me Romance podcast. I'm all good about having spice in your books and prefer it. That's pretty much what this is. I enjoyed it, but I really wanted MORE to this story. I do own the first book she wrote, but haven't read it yet. This definitely left me wanting more of this world so I'll head to that soon.

Oh my.... I love this series and world. This story had Alexa Riley style. Totally over the top and kinda ridiculous. Not in a bad way though.

As a short erotic read, this works well. We get a little back story on the two characters, the author did a good job writing their chemistry, and the smutty scenes were good. It is a fated mates sort of deal but even though the length of the story lends itself to feel like a fast burn, we see that they already had a bit of an established relationship so it didn't feel too fast for me.

I love all of Anna’s books! This one is probably the spiciest of them all, especially considering it’s a short story.

Short but sweet
A very good short, short story. I have read the Alpha Compound Series. I want more Omagaverse stories. Almost as good as the steamy cup of black coffee I have sitting beside my Kindle. Thank you Anna for my breakfast, first read of the day.

Spicy!

I forgot I listened to this audiobook from the Read Me Romance Podcast back in December 2022 and only remembered now. After reading the synopsis, I do remember the story and that I enjoyed this short and sweet novella.

Fun little book, quick read. This is related to a series that sets the universe of the story better. Can be read as a stand alone, but I would suggest reading at least one of the Alpha Compound series first.
