3.5 stars. This is picking up again. I’m very interested in seeing where the Death Ranger goes for this story!

This was better than the last volume. Journey continues to be a fun character and she has some good moments in this one. The set up for what is to come is well done and has me excited.

Mighty Morphin' and Power Rangers set a collision course for one another as the threat of the Death Ranger looms.
The two issues of the main title collected in this volume feel very much end-of-an-era-y, especially in the case of new-ish character Journey. With Jason out of action back on Earth, there's a renewed focus on Zack and Trini, while the mystery of the Death Ranger creeps along in the background.
Also included here is the Death Ranger one-shot, which acts as both a Past Is Prologue type deal and a look at what's to come. Between this and the Power Rangers Universe mini-series, I'm glad to see Boom! fleshing things out in terms of the background of the Morphin' Grid and stuff, even if it's only comics!canon.
A little short with only three issues, but some more solid Power Rangers action. With this and Mighty Morphin' Volume 6 together, you've got everything you need for the Charge To 100.

Now we're trucking along! This volume goes into Andros finding the Gold Omega Morpher and bringing back the Gold Ranger, also known as the Death Ranger. We now have our setup for the next arc as the Rangers will go toe-to-toe with a creature that has learned how to take over bodies and bring back the dead...should be fun!

The first two issues end this run of Power Rangers before starting the Death Ranger crossover, but it ends far bloodier than the Mighty Morphin saga with seemingly all of the Omega Rangers suffering a grim fate at the hands of the Death Ranger.
Also included is Countdown to Ruin: The Death Ranger which details their origin as well as the fates of the original Omega Rangers.
