What a blast from the past. Published in 1981 you'll find an excellent introduction by Peter Cushing defining horror. Then you'll read about the Frankenstein saga, the devil's army, frightening vampires and werewolves, the supernatural, the undead, travelling beyond, horror comics, Hammer horror. There are so many superb illustrations, photos and movie stills inside (really liked the one of The Exorcist). Hard to believe that I missed this excellent book for so many years. This my friends is horror at its best. Here you look horror into its evil eye (I'm referring to some effects you'll find inside). Highly recommended!
