My name is Gabriel de la Madalena. I’ve been a vampire for more than four hundred years. I’m the heir of a successful, high-end clothing line and I have seven brothers for whom I’d gladly give my life. The one thing that has eluded me for all these centuries is love.
Jayla is a beautifully voluptuous woman who is fighting a losing battle. I’d fight all her battles if given the chance. Will she let her walls down to give me a chance to love her or will she run away when she realizes what I am? An enemy of my past has decided that it’s finally time to enact the twisted game of revenge that he promised long ago. Will he succeed in taking away my happiness before I’ve had a chance to claim it?
My name is Jayla Monique Spence. I’m a thirty-eight-year-old woman and I never thought I’d be in a situation where my ex was blackmailing me. To make the situation worse, I don’t know how to make him stop without losing everything.
Gabriel blew into my world like a stage five hurricane. He was everything I didn’t know I wanted but everything that I needed. Before I know it, I’m wrapped up in his world and I’ve become an unwitting player in a game of revenge. Should I run or stay and fight? More importantly, will I survive?
K. Lewis was born and raised in rural Texas. Her friends and family are the most important to her. When she isn’t reading, you can find her with her energetic Bichon Frise, Crumpet. K. Lewis’s love for reading romance began in junior high school when she and her best friend exchanged short stories about their crushes. Throughout the years, she has gravitated toward paranormal and romantic suspense, focusing on plus-size heroines. “A Vampire’s Revenge: Gabriel and Jayla’s Story” is K. Lewis’s first paranormal romance novel.
Gabriel sees Jayla one night at the grocery store and knows she’s his one after centuries of being alone aside from his brothers. As they embark on a journey of love and for Jayla accepting Gabriel’s secret, there’s an enemy lurking in the shadows.
I liked it. For most of the book I was thinking this was a solid 3 star read but when we got to the climax and that twist it instantly went up a star for me! Rarely am I surprised but that one I actually didn’t see coming.
This was my first book by this author and it want be the last. I enjoyed the storyline and the main characters. This book was recommended by Unique Words LLC
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I enjoyed the bond Gabriel and his brothers have, especially their own bond they created with Jayla! Also the spice between Gabriel and Jayla was hot! 🥵 AND cannot not believe the plot twist with John Paul turning on Gabriel. My mouth dropped! I can’t wait to start on the book 2!

Gabriel de la madalena is a vampire who owns a high end sexy clothing and lingerie line. He only focuses on work and his seven brothers...he never made time for anything else after he started to lose the zest of joy from everything. One evening while Gabriel was out he see's a woman Jayla whose about to be harmed by a mugger that evening he saves her life without her knowledge and she saves him. For six month he stays in the shadows watching and waiting to finally introduce himself properly. Jayla a curvy woman and dealing with a deadbeat ex that won't give her peace. The opportunity presents itself and Gabriel once again saves Jayla, but now has introduced himself...and has no plans to let go. Sometimes the past has a way of trying ruin destiny and happiness.
Gabriel and Jayla's story is fast, but not too fast...a slow burn to the 7 rings of fiery sexdom... just spicy as hell. The way the story was unfolding it had my mouth dropping because of the betrayal, the double crossing, and how the past will defintely bite you in the ass. I was more nervous than Gabriel while reading about their blooming relationship. I love that the author gave Jayla depth and a backbone because even though she was damsel in distress she didn't stress me out. My favorite brothers were Clarence and Richard they were so funny. I've already downloaded the next book because this is a book series with a lot of strings connecting to so many characters and I want all the backstories.
I enjoyed it at first but then everything went at such a fast pace . It seemed like it jumped from one point to another rather quickly . Edmund and Gabriel’s forgiveness came out of nowhere. The romance was super fast . Overall it was still entertaining .
This is book 1 in the La Madeline Brothers saga and Gabriel and Jayden’s Story. Gabriel has seven brothers and there is one other Edmond that he had an past that cannot be fixed. They made a pact to stay out of each other’s territory but now it seems the pact is being broken just as Gabriel has found love.
There are many characters as Gabriel have has 8 brothers plus there are a few bad guys as well. So I hope that means we are going to get 6 or 7 books or so in the series.
This is a sweet romance but no way near sparkling. I would not want to meet up with these guys in a dark alley or even a light one lol! The descriptions are great. The plot thought out and the story very twisted. I’ll tell you I sure as heck was surprised! If you like vampire romance with heat this is for you!
I enjoyed this story and how the worldbuilding was explained regarding the vampire lore. Jayla was a strong woman, easily falling in love with Gabriel, and accepting his truths. Gabriel was quite romantic, protective, though secretive about his past to begin with. His loyalty and love for his "brothers" made me enjoy him even more. With danger surrounding them, there were still moments of love, friendship, family, and shocking revelations. I look forward to the next in the series.
I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
So glad I went hunting for paranormal books again, I was worried I read all the good ones lol. Loved the story of these two which was surprising bc I’m not usually a fan of fast love.
Gabriel and Jayla’s story is so sweet. The love and devotion they show each other will make you see that love does exist. The brothers were all consuming. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

I think I have just fallen in love. Gabriel and Jayla's story gave me all the feels. This my first read of this author and it won't be my last. I can't wait for more from this author and series.
Has there ever been vampire that is not tortured with their very existence? A Vampire’s Revenge by K. Lewis is the first book by this author that I have read. The story seems short based off the number of chapters but in truth is drawn out with two different POV in each chapter. The story starts off as the standard conflict between two men about a woman, it just so happens that those two men are vampires. Now throw in six other vampires and you have a fight that is beyond imagination. The dialogue teetered on the verge of being basic and strained and made it easy to skim over parts. The twist that wraps up the story though was unexpected and gave it enough to transform the book from the usual to something different. 4 stars for A Vampire’s Revenge by K. Lewis.

Book was great, funny and quirky....I felt like some scenes were a tad bit rushed and the book could've been a little longer had certain parts not seemed as rushed but overall was great. The character build was pretty cool and I wished I could've gotten more of Clarence and Kayla's relationship those two together are funny as heck...I could've used a few more love scenes with the two main characters too because their lovemaking was HOT HOT HOT 🥵🥵🥵 you won't be disappointed with the story it was great!!
I recently finished reading the first book in The La Madeline Brothers Saga and I was captivated by the story of Gabriel and Jayla. Gabriel and Jayla’s unwavering love is the foundation of this captivating story. What I found most engaging were the numerous twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. Themes of vengeance, conflict, and loyalty intertwined with strong family bonds and friendships, resulting in a rich tapestry of emotions and discoveries. The secrets and truths revealed throughout the story add to its depth.
This book kept me interested from beginning to end. I can’t wait to read the rest of this saga, as well as more works by this author. I recommend this story to anyone seeking a new vampire story.
This is a debut from this author, as well as the first in a series, and this is Gabriel and Jayla’s story. Gabriel has seven brothers, and he has been a vampire for four hundred years. Jayla has built up walls around her heart, which Gabriel is determined to break through, and these two love each other unconditionally. This is a sweet romance story, with twists, revenge, conflict, truths, secrets, loyalty, family, friendships, revelations, emotions, and love, which leads to an enjoyable page turner. I look forward to reading more from this author and recommend this story. I received a free copy of this book via Enticing Journey Book Promotions and am voluntarily leaving a review.
That plot twist had my jaw dropping!!!!!! I could not get over it. Gabriel was willing to risk it all when it came to Jayla like he was not playing those games with ANYBODY. Jayla did get on my nerves a few times because she made things so difficult and had no backbone when it came to her ex blackmailing her. And don’t get me started on her neighbors!!! I LOVED them so muuuch like I have never seen a pair of supporting characters that were so hilarious and lively!!!! The Hendersons were my faves and the bond that Clarence had with Jayla was so sweet. He did not sugarcoat anything when dealing with her. This book is a definite must read and it is one of my favorites of the year so far!
Wow!!! what an awesome , high octane thrill ride this book is 😳😀Strap your self in & hold on tight as K. Lewis takes you on an exciting journey of drama, twists, cunning betrayal, vengeance , revenge & classic angst filled 🧛♂️🔥🔥🔥❤️romance 🥳Gabriel is a 💯alpha apex predator who viciously unalives those who prey on innocents or anyone who comes for his lady love , Jayla. The love he has for his sired brothers are so heartwarming , I was devastated by John Paul’s & Edmund’s story arc🥲 😫😭I can’t wait to read Richard & Killian’s story in the next 📚Happy Reading 🍷
What?! First of all, I love the Hendersons! They were HILARIOUS!!! Gabriel and Jayla were so cute together. I liked the relationship Gabriel had with his brothers. He really carried his heart on his sleeve for people he loved. I was not expecting that ending and the author played that twist close to the chest. Well played K. Lewis. 🍸 This is my first read from this author and I would highly recommend this book. I can't wait to read Richard's story because he knows he's wrong for what he's about to do. 👀
This novel is one about so many things. Gabriel final,y finds his soulmate, only to realize that someone is out to get him. However, it’s not who he thinks and the revenge plot thickens. Jayla is trying to get over a bad breakup when she meets the charming Gabriel. It’s a story of insta-love but who can put a time frame on true love. I really enjoyed the story and it had so much more than just a love story, I loved the friendships and the Hendersons; they were great characters. Looking forward to reading another one from the author.
Haven't read a vampire book in a long time (most likely Anne Rice) so I figured it was about time to change that. This is a nice story but my only reason for giving this a 4 and not a 5 are two things. One, the pace was too quick, our leads fell in love on their 2nd or 3rd meeting? Gimme a break! Two, for me at least, the story seemed jumpy and a bit scattered at times. The saving grace, besides the smut 😎 was the twist at the end- did not see that coming and was delighted by it. Would I read the sequel? As of this moment, I don't have a strong urge to do so but maybe one day.
This is the first book that I have read from K. Lewis, and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I loved how Gabriel and Jayla's story played out. Gabriel did not force her love. He wanted it to occur naturally. And, he didn't immediately tell Jayla that he wanted to turn her. He left that decision up to her until he couldn't.
Gabriel and Jayla have a great story to tell. Gabriel is handsome, sophisticated, and kind. He is also a centuries old vampire with foes. He has found the love of his life. The only problem is….she is human. Will she accept his love and his undead heart? Gabriel has seven….well six….adopted brothers. Richard’s story is next. Great first entry in the series!
It was a good storyline with twists and turns. I would have given 5 stars, but sometimes the characters are so dense and I find it hard to read. Gabriel knew she was in danger, but he kept leaving her alone and just kind of waiting for it to happen and of course it did. Duh. Anyway, it was a fun, quick read.
This book captured my attention from the very beginning. The writing was engaging, and the storyline quickly pulled me in. I found myself invested in the characters and the plot, eagerly turning the pages to see what would happen next. It's clear that this is just the start of something great, and I can't wait for book 2 to continue the journey!

I really didn't know what to expect with this book, but the twists and turns made it a good book! I was happy that both Gabriel and Jayla had their happy ending, and I'm looking forward to reading Richard's story!
I liked it. The story has potential for a rewrite. The following could be added: the blackmail story, what happened between Jayla and Claudia. The Hendersons could former hunters and finally a supernatural baby based on myth.
A Vampires Revenge by K. Lewis was a great intro to The La Madeline Brothers Saga . Gabriel and Jayla's story was enjoyable from beginning to end!! I'm ready for Book 2!!🔥❤🔥
