Lấy bối cảnh 4 năm sau sự kiện của Khởi Đầu Mới Là Trở Về Nhà . Mitsuomi và Yamato vẫn ở lại làng quê yên bình ấy, mọi thứ đã dần thay đổi. Giờ đây mối quan hệ giữa Mitsuomi và Yamato đã trở nên gần gũi hơn bao giờ hết.
Thật sự là mình nhớ mãi "Lời bạt" của tác giả ở Vol.1: "Và câu chuyện đã có happy ending... nhưng có thể chuyện tình của họ không suôn sẻ, có thể họ sẽ chia tay, cũng có thể quay về bên nhau... không biết tương họ sẽ gặp những chuyện gì , nhưng tui mong họ sẽ luôn ở bên nhau và cùng mỉm cười như thế."
Cũng như tác giả nói Khởi Đầu Mới Từ Bữa Cơm Nhà cũng là sự trưởng thành của Mitsuomi và Yamato, cuối cùng họ cũng được công nhận sau những phấn đấu trong cuộc sống đó. Chỉ là họ vẫn cố gắng định nghĩa mối quan hệ giữa họ, là bạn? Hay là người yêu của nhau? Vẫn với một không khí nhẹ nhàng, hài hước và ấm áp, Khởi Đầu Mới Từ Bữa Cơm Nhà không làm mình thất vọng, và hơn hết cái kết đầy mê ly~

omg this was so cute and lovely!! i loved Yamato and Mitsuomi's dynamic/interactions so much. 🥹🫶🏼 characters who smile or laugh to hide their pain are my weakness and that was Yamato in a nutshell. i also loved the side characters. <3

I cannot believe I was asking for a sequel and then actually found one. This deals with a more mature aspect of their relationship. After all it’s been three years. Everything won’t stay in the honeymoon period. It’s only natural that problems would arise. But I like the way the mangaka handled them. She didn’t give them too much drama but gave a natural outlook on relationships. As they said I hope they will stay together till the end when they are old and grey.

Continuation of Yamato and Mitsoumi's story after リスタートはただいまのあとで Restart wa Tadaima no Ato de This volume is more mature than the previous one. I like the way they normalized lgbt aspect, specially given the setting in rural part. And also side characters grew more interesting in this volume.

This is the very definition of a story with a warm heart, and also one of the few BL titles I can think of where the protagonists not only have a civil partnership, but it's suggested/encouraged by their families and everyone just wants them to be happy together. We could use more books like this.

If I could I would give it thousands of stars 😭💓
This is such a perfect wrap up after the prequel. There's so much conversation that penetrated deeply into my heart. I love that their interactions with the side characters are not for conflict or unnecessary drama, but instead as a way for them to understand better how to mantain their relationship and understanding each other. They also communicate well.

This volume made me cry at 8am on Sunday, so of course it became a favourite. Volume 2 picks up a few years after the first one. It is so sweet and I just really liked that Mitsoumi and Yamato talk about how they want to grow old together, how families and love can take so many different shapes. Ugh, it was so good! And of course the art style is lovely!

AVISO: esta reseña contiene spoilers de la primera parte de Restart after. Mitsuomi se ve obligado a volver al pueblo con sus padres tras perder su empleo. Perdido y frustrado, lo que menos se esperaba era conocer a Yamato, un chico de su misma edad que cambiará su forma de ver la vida para siempre.
En esta segunda parte la relación de Mitsuomi y Yamato está en un limbo peculiar, no son simples amigos pero no saben qué etiqueta poner a la relación que mantienen. Mitsuomi, lleno de inseguridades y reflexiones, trata de buscar una respuesta a esas preguntas, mientras no entiende que tras años juntos Yamato no piense sobre ello.
En este tomo se nos muestran aspectos sobre cómo las relaciones homosexuales son vistas, en parte, en Japón. Los miedos a decir públicamente que son algo más que amigos y la inseguridad ante la reacción de quienes los conozca son parte de lo que se nos refleja en la trama. Junto a ello está también la apreciación de quienes quieran formalizar su relación, puesto que el matrimonio homosexual no es legal en el país.
Si hay algo que se echa en falta es el hecho de que, pese a que hay un salto temporal entre ambos tomos, la parte más sexual y física de la relación no se muestra, evitando entrar en escenas subidas de tono, pero dando por entendida la situación.
Al contrario que en el tomo anterior, en este Mitsuomi ha sido mi personaje favorito, abordando con sus diálogos preguntas, miedos e inseguridades reales en un país tan crítico con los derechos LGTBIQ+ como es Japón. Una interesante segunda parte aunque algo más amarga que el dulzor de la primera.

Okay. This is a sequel I never knew I needed. The last volume is already tied neatly, so I really wasn't expecting to see it when I looked at her works. But I'm happy!!
Restart wa Onaka wo Sukasete focuses around Yamato's growth as a person in a relationship, and his acceptance towards himself, taking place 4 or 5 years after the volume one. He believed that he would not be able to treasure Mitsuomi properly because he still see himself as that poor child that was abandoned. He didn't see himself as someone enough for the likes of Mitsuomi whom he treats and sees highly.
This sequel is important too, because it gave us a chance to see an improved Harada who watches over them. I loved how throughout the years, they became close friends. And we're also given a chance to peek at Yamato and Mitsuomi's maturing relationship.
Ah, I love this so much. I really had a great time. I've been moved once again. Cocomi knows when and how to say the right words. They clung to your heart, tug at it in every beat. I love how they make me want to pursue the right person too. Someone I will be happy to be with.
Gosh, I really love this series so much. Would it hurt now to ask for another volume? But I think, Cocomi tied it up neatly this time, as she did the previous volume tho... Augh, I don't want to raise my hopes up. It's already perfect as it is now.

Okay, I said the first book was amazing but the sequel somehow managed to surpass that. I cried happy tears a few times throughout because of the gorgeous art and interactions, and I just adore these boys so much!
I love how wholesome this series is, even though this is a yaoi manga, the focus is not specifically on two boys being romantic and/or spicy, but on two people who help each other grow and end up finding love; what it means to love and be loved. Volume 2 also delves deeper into the reality of being queer in more conservative communities, which I really appreciate.

Lần khân chừng bốn năm, lời thương từ đáy lòng mới có thể dạt dào trào ra. Đôi lúc thời gian trôi qua bao lâu cũng không quan trọng bằng một cột mốc đánh dấu đúng thời điểm, đúng người. Bởi hoài nghi, phân vân dồn tụ theo năm tháng, cho nên nếu đã đủ sẵn sàng, dẫu có hơi trễ tràng, cũng hãy cứ mạnh dạn nói ra.

C’est siiii bon!
C’est attendrissant et rempli de douceur!
J’ai tellement adoré suivre Mitsuomi et Yamato dans cette histoire de deux tomes.
Le rythme de l’histoire est parfaite, tout comme l’ambiance, les personnages qui partagent le quotidien de nos deux protagonistes.
La relation qui se développe simplement et tendrement que je me suis attachée Mitsuomi et Yamato presque instantanément.
J’ai surtout apprécié le développement de leur relation dans ce deuxième tome. Le questionnement de ce qu’est réellement leur relation à leur yeux en sachant tous les deux ce qu’ils veulent dans le présent et le futur. Ce faire reconnaître comme un couple alors que l’homosexualité est encore tabou pour certains regards de leur village. Des remises en question alors que Yamato se perds avec ces craintes du passé et que Mitsuomi craint ne pas être la bonne personne pour sont partenaire.
C’est bonnnn, siiii bon!

So với "Khởi đầu mới là trở về nhà" thì mình thích cuốn này hơn. Vẫn vibe nhẹ nhàng nhưng truyền tải nhiều thông điệp hơn, đọc xong nghĩ hơi nhiều về tình yêu. Kiểu đọc xong thì hiểu 'à thì ra vậy nên người ta mới kết hôn'. Không hẳn chỉ là danh phận hay việc thay đổi trong thói quen sinh hoạt của cả 2, mà còn cả cảm giác có người chờ mình ở nhà và nói là "mừng em đã về". Uiii tóm lại là đọc soft lắm siêu siêu dễ thương.

Cảm thấy tình yêu của cả 2 như dòng nước chảy lẳng lặng, không cần nói vẫn luôn thấu hiểu.
Cá nhân mình thích phần 2 hơn hẳn, chắc vì tình yêu của đôi bạn trẻ đã thấm nhuần hơn, đọc thôi là thấy ngọt ngào

Schon in ‚Heimkehren und neu anfangen‘ hat der ruhige und sanfte Erzählstil mir gut gefallen. Ich konnte mich bereits dort für die Charaktere erwärmen.
Das Sequel steht dem in nichts nach. Auch wenn ich Anfangs zwei Szenen hatte, in denen mich die Wortwahl etwas irritierte.
Doch im Verlauf wird spürbar was sich hinter einer der Aussagen versteckt, nämlich Unsicherheit, die das Glücksgefühl manchmal zur Seite stoßen.
In Bezug auf diese blicken Leser:innen erneut in beiden Gedankenwelten, auch wenn wir Mitsuomi intensiver begleiten.
Was mir zutiefst beeindruckt hat, ist deren wertschätzender Umgang miteinander. In Bezug darauf, gab einige Szenen, die mich sehr berührten.
Für mich ist dieser Zweiteiler eine wunderschöne Geschichte. Bei beiden Bänden, hatte ich nach dem Zuklappen ein erwärmtes, glückliches Herz.

Una vez más: lo que lloré con este manga no tiene nombre. Todos los días vemos gente cercana casándose o convirtiéndose en una pareja “oficial” que de cierta forma crea una expectativa de seguir los pasos para estar “seguros“. Es fácil caer en ello cuando es lo que ocurre a diario a nuestro alrededor.
Pero este manga pone sobre la mesa la idea de que para ser una familia no necesitas ponerle una etiqueta usual. Para ser familia basta con decir “quiero pasar el resto de mi vida con esta persona“, y esa conversación tal vez fue mi parte favorita del manga. Ambos estaban tan seguros que querían estar con el otro hasta crecer canitas y eso para mí es la forma más pura del amor. Siento que voy a llorar otra vez pero me encantó, el amor el tiene tantas formas de expresarse y crearse, obvio la comunicación influye mucho como se pudo apreciar en estos personajes pero una vez superado esa parte, todo lo que alcanzaron y el amor que se demostraron a su manera: hasta el pecho me dolió.
Termino esta serie con el corazón encogidito de felicidad. Yamato es un personaje con el que resoné más de lo que esperaba. Es difícil saber si puedes amar a alguien más o si lo vas a hacer feliz, pero así como él, encontró a su persona correcta y no solo le dio seguridad sino lo complementó. AYYYY ESTOY TAN TRISTE Y FELIZ, EXCELENTE LECTURA.

I FUCKING LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!!!!!!! Seriously felt so emotional after finishing this one. The first volume works fantastic as a stand-alone, but seeing the couple going through the progression of a serious relationship was just too satisfying. I adore the art style (one of my favorites ever), and the story here was just perfect…two mature adults, dealing with past issues but navigating through them together. It’s a completely non-toxic relationship where they argue, learn more about each other, apologize (both of them - so important!), and grow. The family and friend relationships are just as good. I cannot rave enough about how much this series has affected me.
Also, I’m a sucker for happily ever after, and you don’t get much happier than declaring love for the first time, becoming official registered partners, planning to grow old together, and agreeing to adopt a child.
While I love romance manga in all forms, there’s something I truly cherish about those stories featuring adults and minus all the angst/drama/toxicity that younger romance stories tend to have. This is one of my top favorites of all time.
Also, I’m a sucker for happily ever after, and you don’t get much happier than declaring love for the first time, becoming official registered partners, planning to grow old together, and agreeing to adopt a child.

Ce qui est beau dans ce manga c’est qu’on a zéro scène, on se doute à certains moments qu’ils le font mais on ne voit rien même pas l’image classique des vêtements par terre vraiment rien. Gros point fort on suit les personnages sur 4 ou 5 ans et franchement c’est top car on voit les personnages et la relation grandir et évoluer, bon inconvénient 5 ans en 2 mangas cela reste compacté mais ça se tient quand même. L’histoire est méga bien gérée et j’ai vraiment aimé ce titre et donc garder le manga. Il a une note de 8,4/10, une histoire toute douce que j’ai vraiment appréciée.

I loved this so much. It was so wholesome and cute. It made me tear up at the end out of pure happiness. Everyone around them is so supportive and they just have a really good relationship. I would love to read so much more of them just being happy and together, but I'm happy with how it ended. It's making emotional just thinking about it. I loved reading this.

This volume is more mature than the first one. We get our first fight and I really enjoyed how they dealt with it, also, I'm glad that we got to see them together in a rural setting, it's refreshing and, of course, being lgbtq+ on such a small community adds a whole new layer of issues.
I'm a big fan, once again, I want what they have.
