Road Captain: A Nameless Order Novella

Willie
On a mapped-out path, I saw her. She was a stunning, bright ray of light. Too good for me. That was clear just by looking at her. But she was gone just as fast as she arrived.
Our club was in shambles. Prez was gone. We were all crashing, wondering what to do, his Ol’ Lady devastated. Imagine my surprise when the beautiful blonde bombshell who only stared in my fantasies shows up at the ranch.

Ashlynn
My best friend needed me. I packed up my life and headed out to her. I found a broken woman that was slowly putting herself back together.
I also found myself.
I was tired of the life I had lived before. It was time to be this new version of myself. The one that wanted love. So when the sweet, funny, incredibly caring Road Captain catches my eye, I find my forever.
He captured my heart, and I didn’t even know it. And I’m determined to make him mine.

Michele Lee isn't a "she," but a "we."
Ashton (Michele) and Brittany (Lee) make up this writing duo.

We met via a readers group, and instantly connected via the books we love to read. It didn't take long to form a friendship, and learn that we were both writing our own stories. After sharing our work with each other, we learned we have the same writing style, and decided to come together for a whole new story.

Four years later, we continue our writing journey together. We have multiple storylines in the works, and can't wait to see all those words hit the paper.

We're a duo who have only meant once in real life, but have found our best friend within each other.

Two hearts. Two countries. One story.

I sat and thought about how I could truely start this review,and it was easy...it was just incredible! The whole story from start to finish kept me gripped...my feelings were certainly tested throughout. Happiness all the way,sadness again for Bri and Cowboy but above all,so many laughs for the cute,cuddly Road Captain Willie and his queen Ashlynn. Willie met Ash on a random day,at the most randomest of times and he thought there's no way he would see her again,to even utter a single word to her,just one little look but little did he know he would literally bump into her months down the line...when that look,those words,the smiles meant the world...no they meant everything. Willie wanted everything that his brothers had...family...love...,but he had ingrained in his mind "who would want me" "it won't ever happen" but Ashlynn found what she finally wanted in life,her king.
Michele and Lee have once again pulled us into their biker world with this novella,and made us see that whatever your size,your look...you will find your always...your king or queen and it still makes me smile just thinking about it,days after I've finished 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is technically a standalone, BUT reading at least Cowboy is HIGHLY encouraged. You will lose details and not see the overall story arc if you jump in here. (Judge first then Cowboy if you're going in order)

Sweet, insta-love story. At the core of the story is the point that judgement has no place in love. Whether that love is platonic, family, or intimate...communication is key along with an open mind and heart to make things work.

Wee Willie is loyal and funny but has low self confidence with regard to intimate relationships. He knows he's good at his job, he knows he's a strong brother and a hard worker. But he doubts what he could bring to someone he sees on a pedestal.

Ash is fun and loud and fiercely protective over those she loves. When her best friend needs her there is no hesitation to go, uprooting herself to be there for her friend. In the process of helping her friend heal, Ash begins to feel she has to shield herself.

These two characters would seem opposite; loud and mostly unapologetic compared to quiet calm. But they make it work.
I absolutely recommend starting at book 1 and playing catch up.

This was a sweet story and after the heart ripping that's starting to become synonymous with Michelle Lee, it was nice to have low-ish drama. Good story with great characters and steamy plot.

I started reading this book and did not want to put it down. It was so good. I loved Willie and Ashlynn. I loved that she went after what she wanted and absolutely would not give up. Willie was just the sweetest and kindhearted soul. One look at Ashlynn and he was awestruck and could not get her out of his head. I loved their hea and how strong of a bond they shared. I absolutely love all of the characters in this book. I would have loved to see more of outcome for someone else but this book wasn't about them. I'm so ready for Storms story. I know its going to be so good. I most definitely recommend this series. Loving it.

I am falling more in love book by book with this new writing duo.
This novella was a sweet little interlude of a heavy no holds barred series, and while for the most part it was enjoyable and well written, I actually missed the gut wrenching pain from cover to cover that I've become accustomed to.
Don't get me wrong, parts of this will tear open unhealed wounds but there were times the male main character just needed a shake to get out of his head.
Can't wait to see what this duo come up with next.

I absolutely loved this book. It is instant love. I couldn't put book down once started.

I love Wee Willie and Ashlyn together, they both give each other what they both need. They really suit each other. Who knew moving to wyman would find your love.

I can't wait for more.

The first time he saw the blonde beauty in a parking lot, he knew he'd found his person.  They don't speak, she barely looks at him, but he knows without a doubt she was meant to be his.  Willie knows he's probably never going to see her again, but that doesn't matter to him.

Ashlynn is the brash, take no prisoners, best friend of Bri.  When circumstances change, she rushes to her soul sister's side, there is no way she will face it alone.  Her only priority is fix her broken friend.  She doesn't have any intention of finding love when her girl needs her.

It is so cool when you get to see the world of a novel through side characters eyes.  This is partially the story of Cowboy from the eyes of The Nameless Order's Road Captain, Willie. However, we also get Willie's story.  I love every laugh-out-loud minute of this quick read, and will never be able to look at meatloaf the same way!

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Willie is such a sweet soul and reading his and Ashlynn's story really was great. I loved how this book gave us more of Bri and Cowboy's story. There is more to this couple and what they are sacrificing for others. This story shows the reader more of this family and what they have endured. I really love Willie and how hard he loves when he doesn't feel worthy of that love. Can't wait for more from these authors what a great series.
Is the best friend to Bri who is going through a bad time. She comes to town to help and falls for Willie the Road Captain. Okay book but you need to read the other books first or you will be upset.
A good read
The Michele Lee writers have hit it out of the park. This the love story for Wee Willie and Ashlyn. It's a steamy and little bit rocky as they travel their journey. At the end you get a bonus chapter with a couple of unexpected characters. I can't wait to read book four. I read this out of order and I suggest that you start the series from the beginning with book one.
good read
Good read although there were elements of it that didn’t feel like closure. Enjoyed the dialogue between the two main characters but not the jumping between the different issues.
