The idea of the story was good but the writing was a struggle for me. From one paragraph to the next there would be a time jump and location jump. No page break or anything to suggest it and I would have to reread to make sure I didn’t miss something. The MMC for being in the security business is actually pretty darn oblivious. The ending was also a horribly rushed cliff hanger and just made me annoyed rather than interested in the next book.
I loved the whole story and from like 50% onwards I was ON EDGE 😂😂 One thing after another happened and then just when you think all is well BOOM another thing happens!!
The ending.... I have anxiety 😂😂
I really hope the next book confirms that Chloe and Josh are a thing 😂 I need that.
Just a few points I gotta make though... The chapters felt choppy and it took me a few chapters to get used to the writing style and the swear words are Scensored (the reason behind this is hilarious) but that don't bother me that much and the next book will be unsensored and more hot and steamy 🥵🥵 Also this is her first book and I think she smashed it 👊👊 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️
I believe that the writer of this book did not plan or think thoroughly about how this story was going to play out or end. This book could have done with some refining of ideas and plot points especially in relation to the villains. The book has 2 antagonists John who is Bella’s ex-boyfriend and Pete who is Damien’s dead ex-girlfriends brother. Having these two as antagonists on the story made the plot confusing as you’re sitting there throughout trying to figure out who is orchestrating what is happening which some of the things that happen to Bella such as the flowers and the heart are never explicitly said who was responsible for those things. Through having these two as antagonists in the story it’s made it seem like there was constantly negative things happening to Bella especially towards the end of the books where she goes from being abducted by John to then being held as a bargaining chip in the name of vengeance with Pete. So having the two villains made it messy.
The author also needs to work on using show don’t tell throughout her writing a couple of times she used onomatopoeia which is fine, however, it should be used in a sentence instead of just the word on its own. An example of this is when she is attempting to get out of the cars boot after being abducted by John and breaks her ankle she uses the word ‘CRACK’ on its own. It would be better if she said ‘i hear a crack and then feel the pain spread through my ankle and realise that I’ve hurt myself’
It is obvious that this is early on in this authors career, she needs to ensure she is carefully reading through her writing for errors in spelling, punctuation and grammar as well as in the flow of her writing and ensuring that conversation between characters actually sound like real conversations that people would have.

I'm so sorry I appreciate this authors efforts and the heart she put in but the novel fell flat. It was rushed at times then too descriptive at others. The MC's attributes felt forced and the character development is so rushed and literal. The MMC had no right to be as controlling and entitled as he was, and that's coming from someone who's favorite book boyfriend is Zade. Readers don't want to be told how to feel about a character. They want to be forced to feel. With that all being said though, I do feel as though The author is on to something. I believe this is her 1st novel and although it shows, it is a great place to start. Keep writing and you may have a bestseller one day!
It seemed like a good book at first. Like the ideas were mostly good. But the writing just seemed to get worse like the author kinda gave up as they continued to write. The ending chapters where the worst. Jumping from one time to another. Then the main female character gets kidnapped twice in the span of days. Like in the end gets kidnapped from the hospital. Was just not a good read. Super disappointed.

I had to DNF it. It's just very poorly written. They also censor the swear words, which is weird in a published book. We can handle the word shit written out.
Honestly, it reads very much like poorly done fanfiction.
Omg what an amazing, heart read, I absolutely loved every single minute of this book I literally couldn't put my kindle down, I am so ready to read book 2.
This book made me laugh. I wanted to like it, really I did. The writing is absolutely horrible. And the ending was just too much for me. I’m not happy about reading this book.
It was okay. it wasn't as good as the first one but I still enjoyed it it got better near the end so some hoping part 2 is better. I do like the characters in the book, and I enjoy the grumpy man who says he will be alone forever to finally fall for the girl 😍
Found this book a little hard to read, in some parts it just didn't make sense due to the wording. I did enjoy the storyline but it was missing depths, it good of been really good!
My emotions were all over the place with this book, but in a good way. Damien seemed very possessive over Bella even though they just met, and she kept going back for him. It annoyed me at first but later on it made sense on why his character was made out to be that way. The bedrooms scenes were the right heat for this book, it was a bonus for all the suspense that was about to happen. Poor Bella and everything she goes through, but then it’s great for Damien being possessive because he does everything in his power to save her. The ending was a cliff hanger that left my jaw dropping and I really cannot wait for book 2 to find out what happens next!
What a book! Full of action and tension that keeps you reading to the end. There's romance and eroticism and relatable characters. The plot flows well and I like the chapters which tell the story from his/ her perspective. A great summer romance. Will deffo look for more on this author
I really enjoyed this book. I felt it did go a little quick in some places, especially at the start. I would have liked to to see Bella and Damien's relationship progress at a slower pace I look forward to the next book
Almost a DNF but I’m stubborn Jumped around too much and the plot didn’t make sense. Too many loose ends that didn’t get explained and just not a great read
I was looking for a cleanse book completely different from my previous read ACOMAF and this book did its job perfectly. I’m rating this book 3.5 stars.
The plot was really good, however, the writing was meh and rushed, it felt like I was reading a wattpad book like back in the day when I was 12 years old. There aren’t many spicy scenes, it’s very tamed I would say the level of spice is 1.5 🌶️
Nonetheless, it’s a very quick, cute, intense & dark read, so much happens so fast and it’s one intense thing after another, you don’t even get time to breathe and process what just happened, hence the feeling of being rushed… this is due to there being 2 antagonists named Pete and John. John is from Bella’s past and Pete is from Damien’s past.
The book talks about a FMC named Bella who escapes her crazy ex named John who turned out to be her abuser by moving to London to kickstart her dream career and accomplish all her dreams which she is very successful in. Bella is quite strong character who knows what she wants and gets it, besides that there isn’t much character development. John is the most dominant antagonist who desperately wants Bella back and goes to insane and psychotic lengths to get what he wants.
Pete isn’t the most dominant antagonist, he mainly appears and acts towards the end of the book. Pete is blinded by revenge and wants to hurt Damien by going after who Damien loves. Damien is the MMC who’s grieving both of his parents and returns to London briefly to take over his father’s legacy the King Hotels and Security business when he finds out that there’s some employees sexually harassing other employees, corrupting, ruining the values his father and mum founded their business on and giving his legacy a bad name Damien decides to stay in London.
At the beginning it was a bit of a chase game but there wasn’t much chasing as Damien and Bella’s attraction was quickly turned into something more without playing any mind games. They both knew what they wanted whe went for it. Bella and Damien are a very cute couple. I love them together ❤️🥺
I was watching a new show on Netflix regarding DV earlier today called ‘Worst Ex Ever’ and the scenes with John reminded me a lot of some of the things some of the survivors in this show had experience, which I really appreciated how it was written in the book because it sheds light on difficult topics like DV in a realistic way ( briefly ) and the extent it can go… please keep in mind this book is fictional and it isn’t a book made to raise awareness in any form... Readers please check trigger warnings before reading it.
😐🥀"Home is not a place, Bella- home is where the heart is, and my heart is with you."🥀😐
🥱😒 Nah give me a BREAK! 2/5 STARS ⭐⭐
GENUINELY, where do I begin... The positives? - the main character Bella, although I kept imagining Kirsten Stewart, was a very likeable character. Her troubles and fight with anxiety also gave her a lot of relatability. - this book made me feel very anxious, which could be construed as a bad thing, but I'll say that it shows how the author is able to really make us feel what the character feels. - I will also concede that although this was a very predictable read and had me cringing and rolling my eyes constantly, I devoured it. It really kept me reading, it kept my attention. I don't know how. But it did.
Now the negatives... Which I will try to explain without spoilers.
- I genuinely don't understand what the craic is with the romance... It genuinely makes no sense why these two are together. I don't see what they have in common. It's literally just lust. That's it. That's the only thing this "couple" has going for them. Which would be fine... IF, bringing me to point number 2... - IF THE FKN S*X SCENES WERE GOOD. They in fact are not. I give this a 1🌶️ and that's only because zero isn't an option. Like there is indeed s*X in this book and to be honest I thought it WAS just a smutty, spicy book. Ya know the 'no plot' kind. But it had a good-ish plot!! And horrible S*X scenes. - speaking of the plot points, I don't understand what the author was doing. There are 500 different plot points in the book that comes out randomly to you and then get resolved within that chapter or the next, granted they all tie into a neat bow of what the literal hell in the end (which was again so fkn predictable it ruined it), like the author just kinda through plot points at you to further the romance and the "she's mine, nobody can touch her, I must protect her, she can never be hurt so long as I'm here" MMC. - The MMC btw I also didn't like. He creeped me out. Now I've read my fair share of absolutely FKED UP romances. But he wasn't in any way shape or form romantic to me. He was creepy. Especially in comparison to Bella's Ex! Like NO.
Bella just got out of a bad relationship and decided it was time for a change. She put in for a job at a salon in a hotel in London and actually got it. Now that she has gotten there she is determined to make a great life for herself. Damien was just making a stop into one of his hotels when he sees her. Now she seems to be everywhere and she is soon like an addiction.
This is another book I impulse downloaded because of one of my smut groups. Those groups get me into a lot of trouble with my TBR, but their suggestions are always so great. This book is no exception to that rule.
This is a touch her and die contemporary billionaire romance. Lots of tropes, but all ones I love. It is absolutely open door, another plus on my side, and the characters are wonderful. All of them from those in the foreground to those in the background.
I loved Damien as he tries to keep his feelings out of it until that is no longer an option for him. Meanwhile, Bella is cautious because of the relationship she just got out of. Then her ex starts stalking her and things just get worse. This book ends on a bit of a cliff-hanger, but not enough where you absolutely have to read the next book in order to get closure. I likely will end up reading the next book just because I liked this one so much.
I hope for great things for Damien and Bella in the next book as well as hopefully Bella's best friend. I hope this series is one of the ones where it grabs characters from the last book for at least one character for the next book. Keeps them interconnected and gives little updates on the other characters.
it's been a minute since I've written a good review bashing a book so strap in dearest gentle readers. FIRST OFF. i don't think ive read a worse book in my life. i was doing all the emotes reading this because i was genuinely disgusted. granted i was reading at like 2 am but regardless. The writing was bad. The plot was nonexistent. the ONLY reason this book gets a star and not 0 stars is that it made me chuckle, no, CACKLE at the absurdity of some part of this book. also it only slightly freaked me out that the FMC was named Bella, and all my friends in the book are also names of friends or people I know irl.....so take my disgust with a grain of salt.
1 star is generous for this book. the MMC gave me the ick so many times and I just saw so many red flags.
ALSO CAN I JUST SAY THIS. IT FELT LIKE READING A DRACO X Y/N FANFIC. AND LET ME BE CLEAR NOT ONE OF THE GOOD ONES, ONE OF THOSE LIKE "OH MY GOD DRACO SAVE ME IVE BEEN KIDNAPPED FOR THE 94TH TIME IN THE PAST 6 CHAPTERS" KINDA FANFIC.
POOR BELLA CAN'T CATCH A BREAK. SINCE SHE MET DAMIAN SHE WAS ASSAULTED, KIDNAPPED NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE BUT **THREE** (three) TIMES, HAD HER DRINK SPIKED, SABOTAGED, ALMOST FIRED, STALKED, AND OH HOW COULD I FORGOT THE ATTEMPT ON HER LIFE! but god forbid a girl is small, petite, and has curves in all the right places. oh and did I mention that she was reallllllly small. and she has a hourglass did you know that?????? shes SUUUUPER curvy but also like gigi hadid. but! just in case you didnt know shes like really skinny but volumptuous.
FINALLY. can we normalize NO INSTALUST? like damian fym you saw her cutting hair and was like "everybody STOP. this is my property. shes mine and im going to make a move on her even though she has no clue who i am but its totally fine because im preeeettty sure that she (maybe) likes me back." but ANYTHING HE DOES is completely fine of course because hes the god smacking CEO.
i wish i could go back to a time when i didn't read this book
Sometimes, love doesn’t just find you—it saves you.
In I've Found Her, J.E. Mullet delivers a story that reaches into the deepest corners of pain, love, and raw human connection. This isn’t just a romance—it’s a healing journey between two souls who were never meant to be whole until they met each other.
She was broken—shattered by her past, scarred by a toxic relationship that tried to destroy every piece of her. And then he found her. Not to fix her, but to hold space for her healing. He saw the darkness in her eyes and met it with a light of his own. While helping her rebuild, he slowly discovered himself too. Through her strength, he found his own peace. Through her pain, he found his purpose.
Their story is soaked in emotion—raw, real, and sometimes painful. But it’s also burning with passion. The chemistry between them is magnetic, the kind that pulls you in and refuses to let go. Every scene is charged with desire and tenderness, a perfect balance of sensuality and soul.
This book hurts in the best way. It’s the kind of love story that leaves fingerprints on your heart long after the last page. If you're looking for something emotional, healing, sexy, and unforgettable—you’ve just found it.
✨ 5/5 — For every woman who had to fight to love again, and every man who stayed when it got dark. ✨
I'd rate this a 🌶🌶 book. "I've Found Her" had some trigger warnings and parts that made me gasp. After an abusive relationship, Bella heads to London to start over. She's going to live her dream as a hair stylist in a very well-known salon. Her ex keeps messaging her, but she's finally happy even if she does miss her parents and best friend. Damien is heading back to London to bury his father and to check over one of the many newly inherited hotels. When stepping into the hotel, he spots Bella from across the lobby. Instantly, there is something pulling him to her. He doesn't know her, but he will. Bella sees Damien, and he literally sends shivers down her body from across the room. They obviously have some sort of connection, but she doesn't have time to figure it out. But as it goes, it's inevitable that they meet and sparks fly. Neither of them can deny that this is something they can't ignore. Both Bella and Damien have pasts that come back to cause havoc in their relationship. With a crazed ex and a man or to avenge his sister, Damien must do whatever he can to keep Bella safe, even if that means letting her go.
