I am curious about the reviews for this book. As a curious person, I was intrigued by the title and the buzz in my network. After reading the book, I was not surprised by the content and thanks to the research done by Stefaan, the book brought more than an opinion - it is an interesting guide for people, teams and organizations.

The reason I am curious about the reviews is that I believe if you are not really curious, would you buy this book to become curious?

An excellent book to serve in your network to spread curiostiy

I read the first 80 pages and thought 'meh, this seems to say a lot of words and little content, but its interesting'. The short summary for me is 'curiosity leads people/organizations to learning and learning benefits these people/organizations.

He cites a lot of articles and a lot of quotes from other professionals. But its not really dense and i kept wondering how much of it is really true (however many citations he used).

Stefaan has done a great job in helping people understand curiosity from various dimensions. The structured approach of laying down elements of workplace curiosity is commendable. While he borrows research from various sources to make his point, he also brings his own experience. It is good read for someone getting started with the topic. The questions at the end of the chapter was helpful.

I am usually a huge advocate for self publishing, but there was a reason this book was rejected. I don't think this book was edited at all and the author even mentions this was a COVID hobby rather than a serious attempt at writing.

Save yourself the time and brain cells, just read the two LinkedIn articles and the one research paper he cites instead of reading this book.
