This book is very straitforward channeled information about the properties and uses of different crystals. My top pick for crystal reference. Although be warned--Gurudas will tell you himself that only 85-95 percent (in this case 95%) of channeled info is correct, because the other beings want you to trust your own experience. One thing that is a little frustrating about this book is that the different editions have different information. It is out of print and a little hard to come by, so if you find different editions you may want to grab them. Also, some of the explanations are a little hard to understand if you don't have a good background with crystal work. Still I consider this book a must for crystal work.

A fantastic addition to my ever expanding library. Primarily channeled, the information in this book is unlike any other book that I have come across on crystals. For me it does provoke one to dwell deeper into working with energy of crystals to expand ones awareness and understanding of the intricacies of underlying spiritual messages that come fore from the mineral kingdom. So I see this book as a great reference book and a foundation in which to further expand my knowledge and wisdom on crystals through my own personal journey with them.
