what is it with BL manwhas and how easily my heart CRACKS whenever they end? I swear 40 year old Mariam will have not so funny doctor results.
I originally dnfed this manwha because Eungyeom was a two-faced annoying ass who couldn't see past his exhausted pride, but I tried this again and he actually grew on me 😃😄

Main story 4.5 stars. Bunny's story(same chars different setting) 5 stars, so cute!!!
I really liked the seme, he was an awesome guy(and really, REALLY, hot too). Finally the uke's bad luck with men was ended.

Read this a few years ago as it was coming out. Reread and the consent issues are problematic. I know what the author was trying to do (stereotypical top and tropes, embarrassment and lack of communication) and I appreciate the discussions they had, but it’s still not a good enough resolution. This manhwa is hilarious and the characters have distinct personalities but that kind of all fades to blah in the middle. They lost who they were and the story goes with it. So the beginning is 4 or 5 stars, but it goes down to 2. Disappointing. Ends on a high note though.

This was such a nice start to No Love Zone!!
It's such a nice change of pace to read a book where the conflict isn't too serious and is resolved rather quickly, especially with how uncommon that is and usually gets dragged on in manhwas!!
If you need something cute (that does still have drama to keep you interested!!) as a breather from any serious books you've got on your 'currently reading' list, this is recommended!!
I get overwhelmed with serious books very quickly, and it can cause me to go in a reading slump EVEN IF I like said serious book, but having cute, slice of life books to give me breaks has been healing said issue!!
The characters are also nicely developed!! Finally, FINALLY, some green flags for the male characters, which is so rare now -- along with the fact that they all have really distinct personalities!! The main couple is great, but I love when books also develop personalities for the friends and side characters! It makes the setting feel much more alive, and real!

The art is the only reason I kept going. Especially the chibis. I absolutely love the chibis. But after reading the Author's note at the end of the series I do realize that all the unnecessary pain that Eunkyeom went thru was because the author likes to abuse pretty sweet characters, so I guess it's not as unnecessary now. It makes sense at least, twisted as it is.

Oh right, if you want to read this for the plot or if you want to understand the plot without 4 filler chapters of just pure explicit content, I suggest reading the 16+ version instead of the 18+ version.
And it's annoying because the sex doesn't even add anything to the story (as if that's ever the reason for it being in the stories) but I mean, it's really a repetition of the same thing. Eunkyeom saying 'no' and 'it is too much' and crying the whole time, and Jihyuk only saying some variation of "you say no, but your body says yes😏" (which is a tripe I hate absolutely so much!!!!🙄🙄🙄)
Also, Jihyuk only stops after Eunkyeom literally faintsss(!?) and he's so rough with how he treats him, inside and outside the bedroom, except for after they've done the dirty for as long as Jihyuk wants, then Mr. Top is in a good mood because that's all he ever thinks about and apparently it's a okay to do it whenever wherever if he says that it's Eunkyeom's fault for being so pretty (ew).
I'm making it sound a lot worse than it actually is. I just couldn't get past this whole uncomfortable dynamic. But it gets better (somewhat) because Jihyuk gets like...2 cute moments where he's actually a normal boyfriend instead of a sex maniac. And of course the twins are the absolute cutest, they have my whole heart, they deserve the world, they made it worth it.

I read this after finishing Dangerous Convenience Store because I needed something similar and this manhwa totally delivered. Our main character even though he is our Uke he's still super feisty and not too dominant like more BL. The love interest is the most adorable cinnamon roll. I love their relationship and how it's super health and not toxic like a lot manhwa out there. I had a lot of fun reading it. I reached the end and I started crying because I didn't have more the read. There is a special story after the ending and I did really like it but I would prefer to get more chapters from out usual couple...

No Love Zone is an extremely sweet and tender BL manhwa... It just kind of lacked substance to the plot - it is definitely an at work slice of life easy read. The spicy is 🌶️🌶️ but the adorableness is 💕💕💕💕. The art is pretty good 👍👍👍. This is almost a reread as I never finished it while it was still coming out. I thought some big climax was going to happen but it was a really soft storyline (which is a palate cleanser). Personally I'd rate it 2.5 ⭐ as I was hoping for more creativity in the storyline and the bedroom actions 👀

I wasn't so sure about this story at first because E was whiny and cries a lot and the start of their 'relationship' wasn't great. But I"m glad that I stuck with it because I really liked it. I do think that J should have been more honest with E and same goes for E because a lot of miscommunication and drama could have been avoided, but then it wouldn't be a story if it didn't have that.
E has had rotten luck with relationships. His previous boyfriend was bi, or in the closet, was married and had a child. When E found out he was married, he stopped seeing him, and didn't rat him out to his wife. But when that shitbag ex's relationship fell apart, he came looking for E, completely expecting to pick up where they left off: E giving him money, sex, and a place to crash. E was fully commited to J at this point and told him to leave him alone, that they were done. Ex didn't like that started to beat him, being abusive physically when mentally didn't work anymore. I think there was mention that he may have hit E before, but I'm not sure. It's been a while since I read that part. It was so satisfying that J shows up and beats the crap out of him. I was disappointed that E stopped him. He deserved worse.
The whole 'revenge' plot thankfully doesn't last long, but I would have thought it would have had longer effects on their relationship than it did. I would have been distrustful and most likely would have ended the relationship with someone if they said that to me. E seems to get over it pretty quickly once they get together.
J is such an understanding guy, though I admit I'd feel concerned if the guy I was seeing investigated me. E seems to have very little issue with that. J seems to have a lot more money than what he gets from his job too. Other than being too aggressive and not always listening to E, especially when it comes to their sex life, J is the perfect boyfriend for E. He never demeans him, is always encouraging him, and loves him unconditionally.
The ending was so sweet. I thought that J should have told him that he's loved him since they were in school. Hopefully, he tells him one day.

Read up to Chapter 64
Really enjoyed this. Though I find Je-hyuk and Eun-gyeom's fight was resolved a little bit too quickly, I don't mind at all because we got to see more scenes of them being so sweet and couply-couply with each other.
I'm also glad that Eun-gyeom's thing with his ex was resolved really quick. I couldn't stand seeing the guy's stupid face one more second and it was sooo satisfying to see Je-hyuk
It appears the author is taking a break but I'm perfectly fine with the story ending here so I may not keep up with future updates. Definitely recommend this, it's really sweet and very steamy read!

This had a rough start and I almost didn't read it since their interactions were so hurtful and their first intimate scenes were almost rapey in nature, but I was curious enough to want to see where it was going and I'm glad that I stuck with it.
This starts out as a revenge story because one rejected the other in high school for superficial reasons and when they meet as adults, he rejects him like he was rejected in high school (I can't remember their names at the moment - oops).
Despite a toxic start to their relationship, they are good for one another once they learn to communicate their feelings to one another.
I really enjoyed the story and have reread it several times. The artwork is great and so was the story telling, even if it lost a little bit in translation.

Honestamente, este manhwa me terminó gustando más de lo que esperaba, ya que me imaginaba que ser algo tipo "ah ok" y ya, pero resultó siendo algo más tierno de lo que esperaba.
Si bien, creo que la historia tiene muchísimos puntos flojos, creo que es bastante entretenida y disfrutable, logrando que te encariñes con los personajes y esperando que siempre sean felices.
En lo personal, me gustaron bastante los protagonistas, pero los personajes secundarios en su mayoría fueron un gran meh para mí, pero creo que en parte fue culpa de que la historia fuera un tanto corta.
Finalmente podría añadir que en general la historia es bastante buena a pesar de que tiene ciertas cosas planas, creo que puede disfrutarse de inicio a fin sin problema.

ugh, i don’t really know what else to say. the smut was exquisite, their romance was super wholesome and it was just one very sweet read! well, mostly. it had its up and downs, but all i can really recall is the good stuff, lol. well, i technically finished this back in february… and i forgot to mark it as complete and write a review, so yeaaah, lol. i’m a bit wiggly on the details—especially since it’s been over three months since then.
nonetheless, i know i really liked it! i’ve been reading these bonus chapters slash side story, as well; which was been pretty adorable, too—not gonna lie. but that’s just about it for now!

Lo leí en web así que realmente no sé qué capítulos están en los volúmenes, pero si invertí todo un día en esta historia mínimo la tengo en cuenta aquí en Goodreads.
No estuvo mal, tuvo momentos muy tiernos y los extra con ambos protagonistas en dibujitos cambiaforma me derritieron de ternura, al igual que cada vez que salían los hermanitos del personaje rubio (soy muy mala recordando nombres en manwha/webtoon, lo siento).
Pero la historia es bastante común en BL y en los momentos de consentimiento dudoso yo sufría internamente. Lo que sí es que el dibujo está muy bueno, los capítulos terminan enganchando y, como repito, hay momentos muy bonitos entre ambos cuando hay comunicación 😭

High-quality trash. The art can be really cute sometimes, as can be isolated scenarios. But the characters are a little too simplistic and their conflicts are even worse that way. It gets really bad with the sex - while drawn well. It has atrocious power dynamic. The seme can be super fucking possessive and toxic and it is somehow meant to be a turn-on?????? I'm????? This was just high-quality indulgent smut and I guess we need all that sometimes?
Recommended if you wanna read some frivolous shit without putting in the brains. Otherwise, no, please.

Неплохая манхва, довольно интересная, не смотря на довольно долгую раскачку (с главы 15 начала шевелиться). Довольно красивая рисовка, все-таки приятно, когда в цвете. Непонятны мотивы в некоторых местах, но в общем персонажи положительные и характерам верю. Неожиданно позитивный персонаж в какой-то момент начал вести себя как цундере.
Это онгоинг, прочла 49 глав. Начинается новая арка, супер интриги, к счастью, нет, можно спокойно заглядывать в новые главы время от времени.

Muy entretenido! Jihyuk is hot, like fr! Jihyuk lo mejor del manhwa, claro que ví las red flags pero rojo significa adelante jajajaja okno tampoco para tanto pero si es bastante celoso, aunque me gusta e.e
Otra cosa es que prácticamente no profundizamos en las vidas de los protas, prácticamente no sabemos nada de Jihyuk además de que claramente es rico.
Igual no quita que haya estado buena la historia, y la historia paralela del conejo y el tigre, amé.

The size difference between Eunkyum (MC) and Jihyuk (ML) is so chef's kiss. The author drew the sex scenes really well too, they were so hot. Although Eunkyum and Jihyuk started off on the wrong foot, their relationship developed into something sweet and sexy by the end of the story. I liked the pacing of the story too, it was just enough to keep me engaged with the story without rushing it or dragging things out.
