Gaelen, delighted to be trained as a professional investigator by her new husband, continued in her new career after he was killed. Assigned to locate Jace Hastings, she isn’t told who wants to find him, but she puzzles it out. If she’s right, it’s the man who tried to kill him before. Beth Henderson's first book was published in 1990. She has also written as Lisa Dane, Beth Cruise and Elizabeth Daniels. And currently as J.B. Dane and Nied Darnell as well.
Written in a beautiful way that combines modern music into a twisted plotline of love and suspense, this book will keep the reader on the edge of their seat!

It’s all about the characters. Gaelen Wyndom and Pel Flannery are as likeable a pair of characters as any reader could want. Author Beth Henderson didn’t saddle them with the typical romantic suspense plot in which unnecessary secrets lead to contrived misunderstandings and general misery. Gael and Pel have plenty of problems in their unconventional pasts, but they don’t try to hide anything from each other. Instead they’re honest, direct, and supportive of each other. Together they investigate mysteries, make plans, assemble teams, and take on the bad guys. They even fall in love and make beautiful music. Ghost Notes is a great ride.
I have read several books by this author, but this might be my favorite. A unique and compelling premise, with fantastic characters. I had to keep reading to see how it all came together and I was not disappointed. Intense and fast-paced, this book is a must read.
