About: Hamish has everything he could possibly want in life. He's successful. He has the respect and fear of many people around him. He's content. Only a few people are able to get behind the wall he's lived behind all his life. All that changes when he meets Grace. The attraction between the two is intense and immediate.
Plot: First of all, I want to acknowledge that this book is for mature audiences. It is classified as an erotic novel. I don't really tend to read a lot of erotic novels. I really have my personal reasons for not doing so, but I digress. Every now and then, I will find one of them that I really enjoy very much. This is one of those books. I read it with somebody. Or rather, she read it to me. Between the wonderful reading and the wonderful writing, I really enjoyed it. I definitely plan to read more from Tilly Greene in the future.
Characters: The main focus was on our main characters, Hamish and Grace. There were a few other secondary characters scattered in the book. They were all quirky. I would have loved to have seen more of them in the story. I get why they weren't though. Hamish and Grace were really amazing but really infuriating too. I can't explain that. There were times I just wanted to smack both of them!

This book had such a different concept, contemporary with paranormal aspects Hamish is an extremely unique character. I'd say this book is a 4.5 star read for me, The character development was great, story definitely had a fun aspect but also some really hot sex. The conflicts in this book are something that every new relationship has but the added difficulties that Hamish has faced his entire life really make you feel for his character.

Grace is a strong woman, she's worked for everything she has and has done extremely well, I always like this in a female lead. She is definitely a woman I could see myself hanging out with. I think she's a little too quick to forgive Hamish but hey the guy can wear a kilt so I really can't blame her.

This was a fun read, it kept me interested throughout the entire story and I felt like it wasn't lacking in any department. Enough character development to make you feel like you knew the characters without too much excess information so the story kept moving. I would definitely recommend giving this book along with other books from Ms. Greene a try

Sitting around a lounge table in Charlotte, NC, I met Tilly Greene for the first time. Now I had read a couple of her books, but my girlfriend had not. Tilly asked her what she liked, and recommended Hamish... or Highland Heat as the book title states. Since it was a recommend from the author, albeit to another, I added it to my TBR pile. I AM SO GLAD I DID NOT LEAVE IT THERE TO LANGUISH!!!!!!

This is an amazing tale of love. Hamish is a business man, Grace is a business woman. A chance encounter changes their lives, and neither one wants to escape from it. Unfortunately Hamish has a BIG secret..... does he want Grace enough to share it? Or will it ruin what they have?

Thank you Tilly Greene for introducing me to Hamish. I have never found horns on a man as sexy as I do now. Hamish is the epitome of sexy.... Scottish, wears a kilt(with nothin under, of course), long flowing locks and horns. What more could you ask for?? This book is a great tale of love and fighting for what you want. You'll instantly fall in love with Hamish,Grace and their story. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Wow I really enjoyed this book. It was hot and steamy in all the right places and just different enough that I didn't feel like I was reading the same book over and over again like a lot of the books I've read lately. I will definitely pick up more of her books in the future.

If you like your heroes extra horny, than this is the book for you. How he got that way is pretty silly, IMHO, and both of their businesses will go bankrupt if they don't get out of the bedroom sometime. Totally need to read this one for the sex.

What a fun book. Well-written with steamy scenes and an interesting premise for the hero.
