A book that appears simple, but turns out to be a treasure of the best illustrations I have ever seen for a children's book. I was captivated by the illustrations, and Chartier's work just entrances me and sends me to a better place and time. Brilliant work and couldn't recommend higher!

Traditional story that we enjoy each year..still charming! Illustrations change this book to be about the rabbit family..going to visit grandmother's house in the sleigh. Lovely, fun art by Normand Chartier.
