Anya Bast is the author of numerous works of romantic fiction, mostly all paranormal and mostly all scorching hot. She lives in the country with her husband, daughter, eight cats, a dog, and an odd assortment of rescued animals.

She grew up in Minnesota and still favors the colder climates. After high school she moved to the southeast United States where she attended college. While in graduate school she sold her first book and decide to pursue her lifelong dream of writing instead of a career in psychology.

Somewhat reclusive by nature, she can be drawn out with a good bottle of red wine, classic movies, or good music. When she’s not writing, she can be found trying to grow organic vegetables, shopping in thrift stores for that perfect piece of clothing, or dreaming about travel to some faraway country.

She’s hard at work on a brand new series for Berkley Sensation right now, while winding up her national bestselling Elemental Witches quartet.

This collection of three stories previously published before did not disappoint, but it also did not exceed my expectations. I've read other work by each of the three authors before.

Anya Bast's Tempted by Two is a paranormal contemporary romance. The sex scenes and romance-building were strong, the characters were O.K., and the plot was weak. Fun anyway, Two stars.

I'd read Jan Springer's Edible Delights somewhere else before. This is a contemporary erotic romance that relied too heavily on flashbacks to actions that would have been part of the plot in a longer story. The plot was very good, the characterizations weak, and the sex scenes were O.K. Fun in spite of that, Two stars.

The collection was saved by Shiloh Walker's Voyeur. This paranormal contemporary erotic romance, though a novella, has scenes spanning years. There is romance-building, character growth, loss of a loved one, an excellent plot, and characters you will adore. Five stars.

I got my copy through an online swap and felt it well worth the price of admission at under $4, but I would say it is worth the $14 cover price. Very enjoyable.

I enjoyed the first story about a woman who discovers she's part Fae and meets her 2 mates.

The second story was ok - it was about a pair of guys who let go the woman of their dreams (she owns an edible underware company and they own a distributing and lingerie company) and reconnect with her at a swingers club.

I really, really liked the third one a lot. It was about a married couple who one night invited an old friend into the bedroom and a few years later the husband dies - the friend fell in love with the wife and the ghost husband watches his wife struggle after his death. I connected with this one the most - I'd love another like this from the author.

Three menage stories that certainly have enough spice to go around. the first story is decent. A half blood fae finds herself as the third of a couple of elven warriors. Interesting idea and hot sex but no real connection felt.

The second story was fairly meh. A woman felt controlled by her pair of lovers so ran away for a number of years. When she comes back she is tricked into the relationship again. None of it is believable.

The third is the true gem here. A loving husband, fantasies explored, and emotion. I really liked this one.

Overall, it was likable and sexy.

Good Things Come in Threes is a great collection of stories. Amazing sex, great conflict, and definitely emotional ties. On top of all this, all the stories were quick reads and I easily finished it in one day. If you’re definitely looking for a great selection of erotica novellas, then you need to get your hands on this.

This book was three shorter stories. The first of which was Anya Bast, and just like all her other books I've read, she did not disappoint. However, the two remaining stories, I was not as impressed with. If only the first story was this book, would have gotten a 5 star.

Anya Bast's Tempted by Two was well-written and also appears in Magical Seduction.

Jan Springer's Edible Delights had an interesting plotline.

Shiloh Walker's Voyeur was GOOD. It made me cry...

What was the point of the last chapter in Voyeur? I didn't like it.
Otherwise the stories were a fun read.

Oh never mind, I see its the start of a trilogy. Fated.
